I do not answer any telemarkerters calls, and now all the political calls that are being made, ROS r I press the pound sign, and that gives them a lot of noise on their phone, and I have had people to tell me, it is annoying. To me, what is more annoying than receiving calls from some number over and over, and they don't know when to stop. After a few time I have used the pound sign, they very seldom call any more. Perhaps, they don't like the sound it make in their ear, over and over and over.

No one else reading this page can ''please put a stop to them''. Your caller is not going to dutifully study random forum complaints and cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments.
It's likely the calls are placed by a commercial fundraiser, such as Associated Community Services, Dial America, Harris, InfoCision, MDS, and TeleFund. Commercial fundraisers sneak in as Do-Not-Call exemptions but do not share the same protection as their clients. The FTC rules say: ''... if a third-party telemarketer is calling on behalf of a charity, a consumer may ask not to receive any more calls from, or on behalf of, that specific charity. If a third-party telemarketer calls again on behalf of that charity, the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000.''

They keep calling and calling and calling. They will not leave a message. Half of the time when you pick up the phone, therer is no one there. This has been going on for weeks, several times a day. Please put a stop to them!

called several times asking for donations, i said to call back and talk to my wife as she deals with these things. they called later and on hearing my voice cursed and hung up.

call for "charitable" donations. Never honor instructions to take name and number off list. Do not honor do not call registry. Say they don't have to. very obnoxious callers.
