he is now trying to rent out a house on craigslist

I think I am going to email these pages to my local new stations. They are "advertising" houses in my area n Craigslist!! Lol. My one news station will get the word out!!

Glad I checked the number online before I caled!!!! Harassing someone on the phone IS harassment. Record the calls, and talk to someone about maybe a restraining order or something ?? Idk. There has to be a way to report this scam. Call your local news station. They will do something on scams and call them up!!

They are posting adds on Craigslist for really cheap apartments. Didn't sound legit to me. Glad I checked it out. They might just be trying to get peoples numbers and info.

This number pops up on craigslist houses to rent ads. Their ads are definitely scams as they offer 3 bedroom houses for $700.00.  My thought is if people answer these ads they can use the phone numbers, emails, etc for their benefit.

Same thing is happening. They keep calling on different numbers asking for my mom who has alshemers, and they say they will arrest her and then me. When I challenge they swear and keep calling. What can be done about this????

These guys are relentless! Just when I think the scammers have gotten enough and have finally given up...they call yet again!! If you get a call from these chuckle heads...just hang up. I've been getting calls off and on for the last 3 plus years from some guy who has a thick middle eastern accent and has a very American sounding name. Today it was from Roger Black. Before he could get through his usual schpiel...I told him, "I'm still here after 3 years of your harrassing calls! I don't owe you a dime and I have no outstanding payday loans! So come on....go ahead and arrest me!!! "The supposed Roger Black said that "I had guts!" I then told him to do himself and me a favor, to stop calling me. I let him know that I wasn't that stupid! In the last 3 plus years I have not fallen for one of their scams and I'm not about to now. Don't waste your time reporting them to law enforcement, the Better Business Bureau, etc., etc. Its been done in the past and the scammers know the law can't touch them as they are working offshore. They give a spoof number so it appears that they are calling from somewhere in the U.S. When they call, report their number to sites like this so that others can be warned.

I received numerous calls today from this phone number of 303-214-2129. The voice mail left was from some guy with a thick middle eastern accent, saying I have an outstanding unpaid loan.

The person from this number is also calling one of my previous co-workers... how they can get numbers when they have not been provided is beyond me.

Some foreigner keeps calling harrassing me from 303-214-2129 saying that they are from some law investigating company. This person keeps calling my job and giving any one my ssn# which is not professional at all. And when I tried to get info they yell obscenitys.

do not answer these calls.! they say they are law enforcement and you have an outstanding loan. and you can either wire the money back or face "legal consequences" they are located in aurora colorado. i have there address and if they proceed to call me i will be taking a little bit of legal action myself

This number called my work too. I started laughing when he said his name was Roger Black. With his accent there is no way he is Roger Black. Told them to take this number off of their list.

What should I do? They called me today and told me that if I do not pay them they will have someone find me and arrest me for insurance fraud? They have my name, number, social security number, my bank, where I work, etc. They claim I electronically signed my name on their site but I receieved no loan and therefore why would I owe them money? Please help me to understand, anyone.

Got a call from Officer Sam Johnson of the Dept of Law and Regulations, claiming they have a law suit against me for a cash loan I didn't pay back.  Gave me a case number and said they would come and arrest me if I didn't make payment within 72 hours.  I could appear in court costing 4800.00 and would lose my case because of inadequate proof I didn't received the loan, or settle out of court for a balance of $681.39.  Said, they would contact my employer and the consequences would be I could never work in the U.S. again.  So I got his info so I could call him back, did some research, then called back.  Told him I have contacted my local sheriffs dept regarding this and they are doing an investigation on this case.  The guy started laughing, so I asked if there was anything else I could help him with, he hung up.

They have been calling me for the last 3 days like 50 times a day, claiming that I have an outstanding loan. I told them to give me the information about it and they didn't, so I asked to speak to someone else and they hung up on me. They called right back and told me that someone would be at my house to arrest me if I didn't try to make a payment arrangment for a loan that I know I didn't take out.

called me attempting to contact my father who passed away years ago claimed they were from the Dpt of investigation and collections, said he was a federal agent attempting to contact him, i told him to get a psychic, with his deep Indian accent i couldnt understand what he was saying so i simply hung up,  idk about this for sure but isnt a felony no matter where you are in the US to claim to be a federal agent if your not?

They called me claiming they were from the Law Investigation Division and did I know where my sister was?   They said she owed a debt.  I acted like I did not speak english either.  They hung up.  This has been quite bothersome and from what I understand under the FCDRA (?), they can't tell me about her debts.  If someone wanted to start a class action suit, I would be in!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call today from a Sam Johnson claiming the phone call was being "federally" recorded and lawyers and what not will listen to the conversation...So I calmy continued to listen and write down his information he was supposedly giving me and then he hung up in the middle of him talking. They have called from other numbers claiming they are going to file a lawsuit...I wish they would do it already so I can get some information.

they keep calling me also, When I told them I didn't owe anybody, they became very vulgar. They claim to be from the FBI, law enforcement, etc, When I told them I was recording every call and would take action because even if I did owe, which I don't, it is against the law for collectors to act like this. He, Patrick, said "F U Bit**" and hung up on me. Tried to call back and got a recording that said mail box was full and could not leave message. Surely we can file a class action suit ? I get these daily

Caller ID said "Colorado." Called once. Picked up, no answer. Hung up again. They called back. "Why did you hang up?" Because you didn't answer when I answered before and if you don't start talking, I'll hang up again. "You go ahead and do that, I'll just call back, there is a lawsuit against you." Ahaha, no there's not. "F**k you, you motherf**king b**ch." They hung up.

.lPeople saying they are law enforcment and that they have a law suit for a loan that I never took out. But they couldn't give any info just that I would have to pay the legal concquences. These people couldn't even speak proper english. I will get to the bottom of this and take my own leagal action
