I keep getting calls from 1202-020-2020 number saying they are US fed government grant dept and they have $7000 check for me!!!! But I have to call this number1-202-738-4127 to give a code NL5876 to confirm payment and they ask if o wanted direct deposit in my account or a check OMG this is crazy that people really sit around scam US citizens these are foreigners Please help stop this!!!!!!!

I just called the office of Jon Leibowitz, FTC Charman and spoke to his assistant concerning the epidemic of these robocalls.  I have been kept awake all day after a long overnight project by robocalls promising to lower my interest rates.  They hang up as soon as you complain.  The latest was from 306-633-9168.  The aide told me that the government is sponsoring a "Robocall Challenge" for the best technical solution to block robocallers.  The FTC is getting hammered by members of congress as well as ordinary citizens like me.  I told the aide that the best way to find out who the robocallers are is to actively solicit help from current and former employees of these robocalling companies by creating a form of whistleblowers statute that allows the employees to keep a portion of the proceeds from any successful FTC prosecution/fines.  The guys working for these criminals are probably not getting paid that well, and should be more than willing to help out in return for a hefty portion of the take-down.  The other side is to offer cash rewards to foreign citizens who can aid with the identity of these criminals running these boiler room enterprises overseas.  The FTC Chairman's office can be reached at this number:

I keep a separate TEXT FILE named for each and every
number I receive these damned calls from, and then to
just add to it, most recent call at the top.

Nothing is going to happen on this, unless "EVERYONE"
continually bombards the FBI, your CONGRESSMAN,

I have been doing this myself, but will not continue to

These calls are coming from call centers in Costa Rica and India and they are using spoofed (false)
numbers, which in itself is illegal. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in
this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay. Another course of action is to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small
print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer
Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes
or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for
each violation.

Another idea is if on your cell phone. as I now have started labeling the numbers as Solicitors in my contact so if I get an unexpected call I just hang up on them. I now have 18 solictors logged in my phone.This way you at least know who is calling. Still annoying but has become my solution to the problem.

Been getting calls weekly for over a year; I've filed a police report for harassment and urge everyone who is getting similar calls to do likewise.

i keep getting "rachel from card services".. after review of public records, it seems to come back to Johan and Janneke Duyzentkunst.  They were supposedly shut down.  Including SBN Peripherals inc..   Supposedly they also went bankrupt.  However,   naturalchoicesforus.com and jannekesmit.com are running and by the same group listed in bankruptcy.  And the home is a million dollar home in california..  ??  I am puzzled

I have received these calls and there are about 14 different phone numbers they have rang me from:
785-207-6317, 303-249-9700, 802-230-6357, 617-390-4562, 720-409-2532, 612-222-7091, 385-212-1900, 530-541-1801, 515-421-5843, 360-529-6177, 313-204-1037, 402-286-7411, 920-602-0879, 513-417-0498 and that I believe is not all.  When I get these calls I do not answer first and if no voice message is left then I know it is another one of the Credit Card Services, as they say, located in Canada as I was told by the Do Not Call List.  I would then put them on my cell phone book as Junk Call so when I get the same number calling I know it is them I listed all the above numbers on my cell so I do not spend money with their calls.  They did stop for a while since I was not calling but once you pick up the phone they will keep calling then another break.

Recieve numerious calls from Credit card Services. Sometimes 2 a day.  Repeated request to be removed from their has mot worked.

THis number has called my cell phone numerous times ... never leaves a message and cannot be reached.  My number is listed on the Do Not Call List so this is a violation of that.  Don't know how to get them to stop calling.

Now, it's 617-390-4562 (MA), every day, the same time.  I have filed a "Scam/Scheme" complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office and plan to do one with each state.

I was able to speak with a woman last week who for some reason did not hang up on me for a couple of minutes.  I told her I had been trying to get the number removed and that the calls were coming in from all over the country.  She told me that the recordings were coming in from all over and that there was no way to stop them.  Said she was in Kentucky.???  This morning, at 9:20 or so CST, I called the number and the voicemail box for "Ray Charles" was full.

I'm on a do not call list as well.

Just want to thank those who have been so diligent in getting this stopped.  I have no way to block calls either.  This is driving me nuts!

I just submitted a complaint to the do not call registry and will be forwarding it to my state's attorney general's office and better business bureau as well:

This number calls me repeatedly. They have called me at least 60 times in the last 9-10 months. They sometimes call 2-3 times a day.

They claim to be a credit card debt service. I do not have any credit cards.

The callers have resorted to abusive and degrading language towards me multiple times. When asked to remove my number from their database and to cease all phone calls, they have said "f*** off", "go f*** yourself", "go f*** your mother", "did your mom give you AIDS", "you are pathetic", "go to hell", "d****ead", "you are an a***ole", among other insults.

I have tried to call the company myself and receive an error message that says "the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time" with message code "24 CO01UL".

I want these calls to stop. Not only is receiving the calls themselves annoying, but to be subjected to such abusive language is bordering on criminal. MAKE THEM STOP.

Same message from Ann reducing my credit card debt.  When I press 1- and get someone, I ask how did they get my number.  They hang up.  Or I say I'm on the do not call list-they hang up.  If I try to call back I get this box is full, please try again later.  In the last 4 days I have recieved 8 calls from those two numbers and they always call when I'm at work-so I can't scream into the phone or tell them where to go.  I have reported this several times- I've been getting these call for several years and contacted my Attorney General who says there is nothing they can do because these people keep changing their numbers and they may not even been in the area of area code they are calling from.  So what option do I have?

After a bunch of calls from them I finally pressed 1 so I could talk to a "representitive". I made up a bunch of info about myself, number of cards, amount of debt, etc. Then I swore at the person and hung up on them!
