fax # keeps calling my home; I don't even have a fax!  says westfax also known as qwest in colorado.  saw on another post to try 1-800-473-6208 & ask to have my # removed; i'm going to give that a shot.  hope it works.  very annoying!

their fax # is 303-299-9309. send as much trash to it as you feel is right. tit for tat. 10 to 30 pages usually puts it to a stop.

303-292-0637 kept calling me with a fax tone. I just called WestFax at 800 473 6208 and a rep named Emily said she would put my home number on their block list so I won't received fax calls from them anymore.  if this is your problem, call emily!!

Called the westfax number below and spoke to "betty"- provided her with my number to remove from the list. We'll see....

Call 1-800-473-6208 and have them put your number on the removal list.  Hopefully this will help.  I just did it, hope it works, I'm tired of my phone ringing several times a day for this AND twice in the middle of the night nearly every day for the past week.

This number is calling all of the four cell phones on my verizon phone plan these calls start at 1:01 a.m. and end at about 3:30 a.m. I tried faxing the Copany back and asked them to call me so we could settle the matter and I recived no responce. So I called Verizon and them verified the calls and called the Company and we did a conferance call. They denied the calls to me and Verizon told them that the calls came from them and that they are on my bills. They asked how we know that they came from their company and Verizon told them that she Gooled the number and that It came from there company in Denver Co. The company is the West fax "Quest Corp". and they hung up on us.

This fax beep keeps ringing up my poor cell phone and is costing me minutes and money!!

Did as Mike recommended and just called WestFax at 800 473 6208. A rep said she would put my home number on their block list so I won't received fax calls.  Hope it works.

I have been getting this same number calling me on my cell which also happens to be listed as my work number. It's exhausting having to check the messages and then listen to the annoying beep. One year ago I was having a similar issue with my land line which is my office number and was having multiple faxes calling it at all hours of the day and night, sometimes 7-8 times consecutively. That has tapered off but again, started recently on my cell line. I called the West fax number listed on this site and they were extremely helpful and friendly. I gave them both numbers to add to their do not fax list and now we'll see what happens!

I just did the same.  I guess when a cell phone number is not a fax number, it will retry several times. So guys, call 1-800-473-6208 to remove your number.  You get a live person and she will ask you if your number rolls over into other numbers.

called Westfax at 1-800-473-6208 and they removed me from the fax machine's caller list. Hope it works.

They call 10 times a day 2 mins apart then hourly. don't pick up. call them back get beeps. is in touch with attorney general office to stop these abusive 24 hour crazy calls.

I just got a message from my efax, saying I had a fax waiting for me and that in order to get it, I have to download the efax messenger service.

The faxes are likely coming from efax themselves.

Messenger services are programs that stay on your computer.  LIke Yahoo toolbar, etc.  You may need the service in order to receive faxes from efax, but likely efax just wants us to download the messenger service of theirs.  The messenger service will have spyware, and watches your web habits, then it sells this info to companies that can then target advertising to you.  Even regular Yahoo does this.  For instance, recently I was serching some chocolate candy.  The next day, on my yahoo mail page I kept seeing advertisements for chocolate.  That is targeted advertising from spyware.

Only one person mentioned having efax...and i do too.  I wonder if other people have it but didnt mention it.  I think efax could likely be the culprit of the faxes.

Working on a floor in a very large office.  One by one, each phone rang in turn.  The number displayed was the same each time.  When it reached my phone, I answered and heard the 'beep'.  Most of our numbers are in sequence.  Whoever this is, they are using some automated method.

they call me also it was a missed call for me .  aug 6 3:05 called back to a fax

is anyone else in this email a clinical person (working at a doctor's office). i get calls from this number and another... and when i have gotten anywhere it ended up being a COSTCO pharmacy number. But, I can't figure out how to break this one. Whoever it is should be charged several hundred minutes on my cell phone service.

Called (at least) two different work phones 2 or 3 times in one night. Brief beep heard on voicemail.

This number calls us multiple times daily with only and id of "Denver,Co.".  If we could crawl through the phone and slap them we would somebody please put a stop to this!!!!

This fax has called my cell phone twice a day for the past 2 weeks.  Does anyone know who the specific owner of the machine is?

This number called my work voice number at 3:00 in the morning.  They left a "beep" on my voice message system.

i get these calls from fax at home all the time.   tried to have # blocked; phone co said that # couldnt be blocked.  I'm going to try the 800 number given above, see if that works.
