They too called me at work today, and im sure it was for the same reason as others , Qwest's merger left directv bills hanging in the balance and it never got straightened out, I even talked to qwest and have sent letters but they still insist, on block they go. They also use 303-563-0496

was charged the WRONG ammount by the idiot bi*** at the urgent care place  25.00 instead of 50, wich I would have paid.
Was never contacted until months later when I recieved a COLLECTION letter from the a++holes.  I told thim I would pay the 25. IF they took the charge off my credit report, they refused. I would be an idiot if I payed them AND had that left on my credit report.. It was the Doctors office mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denver Colorado number claiming to be a debt collector. I never answer because I don't recognize the number, I've got family and friends in colorado I have their numbers. It may be a scam. Or sometimes your debt will will be sold to people for less then what you owe.then they collect the money you originally owed. Or something like that.

This number just called and asked for my step-daughter that hasn't lived here in almost 4 years and hasn't talked to her father or allowed him to see his grandchildren for 1 and a half years because she is pissed off that he had the nerve to marry me against her wishes. She thinks she is punishing him, but he has realized that we have a very peaceful & happy life without her!  Evidently we are not good enough to talk to, but still good enough to use our address and phone number!

I told them that she had not live here for almost 4 years and that we had not heard from her in 1 and half years and that they could find her at the L.P Paiute Indian Reservation in L.P., CA living with mommy.  Than they had the gall to ask if I could get a message to her.  Ahhhh... NO!

I sincerely hope that they are watching and reading these posts.  Get the message- Don't call my house ever again!

it seems that while qwest was in the middle of a merger with directv there were a lot of foul-ups. i sent a letter to president's office of directv letting him (her?) know that his billing problems with qwest weren't my problem. although it took 4-6 weeks, the issue was resolved.

i just called them back now that i know who they are. and guess what i paid my bill. yes can you believe it i actually paid. what a loser i must look like to all of you.

I hear you.  I get a new number every time I move, and the last two have had debt attached to them.  Now this number is calling me because my brother-in-law likes to put our number down as a reference.

I keep getting calls from this number because the person that had this phone number before me apparently had a lot of debts. It pisses me off so I call them back and demand to talk to someone that will take my number off their list. I hate people that don't pay their debts and then switch numbers and I'm stuck with the a***oles calling me every few hours.

They disclose that they are a debt collection agency and that calls may be recorded.

They can call for the rest of my life for all I care - I will never answer the phone. BTW you can bet if they've figured it out WA Collections will visit these sites to gather more info on you - use and alias.

I am so stressed out!  Yes...I have credit card debt and unpaid medical bills.  I have no health insurance.  I work part time.  I am not lazy nor am I a criminal.  What the hell should I do?  These debt collection companies are nothing more than THUGS threatening Americans who have fallen on hard times.  Why do we allow these B*****DS to torment us?  I will be consulting with an attorney next week who specializes in debt solutions/bankruptcy and most importantly...calling out these B*****DS putting them on notice.  Most of this junk debt has been paid with your TAX DOLLARS through various stimulus packages handed out by federal government.  What has happened to our country?  We forgive foreign debt, send billions of tax dollars to enemies around the globe, look the other way when wall street criminals extort billions from our economy, banks take risks then get bailed out again and again.  WHAT THE HELL!!!  It's all on the backs of well-intentioned working people.  Time to get politically involved.  What say you?

I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. I HAVE BEEN SENT TO THIS COMPANY FROM AHP ALSO, 3 TIMES. 1 WAS MY FAULT AN OVERLOOKED BILL OF 49.00. 1 WAS CAUSE THEY DIDN'T SEND IT CORRECTLY CODED TO THE INSURANCE AND I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY UNTIL IT WAS CORRECTED TOOK MANY MONTHS BUT THEY DID. RIGHT NOW I AM GOING THROUGH A BILL THAT WAS SENT BACK IN MARCH 2010 FOR SUPPLIES THAT I NEVER GOT. I CALLED AHP AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CORRECT IT. I CALLED ABOUT THIS MANNER 3X. GOT EMAIL STATING IT WAS CORRECTED. NOW I GET A LETTER AND A CALL STATING I OWE IT. I SENT A 6 PAGE LETTER AND COPIES OF EOB'S TO WAKEFIELD ABOUT THIS ISSUE. NOW WAITING TO SEE WHAT AHP IS GOING TO DO. EVEN HAD A BILL FROM 11-2009 THAT WAS PAID THEY WANT ME TO PAY AND ALSO ABOUT 5 LATE FEES. NOT.

I got a message saying that if I'm not "My name" to hang up because it contains personal information, then proceded to include personal information on my voice mail..
Nice! So it's a good thing it was the right number!

They called me but I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number.  They did not leave a message.  So checked the number out to see if I could determine who it would be.  Now I know I won't be answering it as I do not have any unpaid bills that I know of.

Pure scammers. Report them to the Police.

Calling my direct line at work repeatedly, when I answer they will not speak...I said "hello, blah blah may I help you",  4 times for the first call...dead air.  I hung up and started working.  immediate called me back, again I answered,  "hello, blah blah, may I help you? (4 more times)', what a SURPRISE......MORE DEAD AIR. I put call on hold and left it there to tie up their line.  When I came back the line was still active....amazing what people do.

I get calls from them 3 to 4 times a day, they're SCUM BAGS, Period.

I owe something like $31.00 to a equipment provider, and I have a ton of insurance, they just refuse to bill my secondary because it "To Much Paperwork for them to do, and I need to pay this myself and deal with my insurance company direct". I'm out of work on disability and the insurance covers that too. Nope they rather just ignore me and turn me over to a collections company to harass me more and more. I refuse to pay this over my normal deductible. My credit score is 356 because I chose to battle cancer verse paying all my bills outside of keeping my home as my first priority, Shame on me!

Now I get a call saying they will give me an extension, and I get mad as hell... Then I get this Jackoff on the phone telling me to calm down and not to use upsetting language on the phone with them!!!  Wait, they keep calling ME!!!! And I should calm down!!!  My reply was to the point, as I said to GO FUNK OFF!!! And I hung up. I just added them to my Call Blocker on my home, so let them go figure that out until I'm dead.

Original Company is called - American Home Patient that refuses to do their jobs and bill a secondary insurance company. They just turn me over to a Collection Scum Bags to try to get me to do this on my own. This is the 4th time American Home Patient has turned me over to a collection company, each time I've gotten this paid by one of my coverages now 3 times in a row. I'm NOT doing this again for a 4th time to sit on the phone hour after hour to do the jobs of others.

I still can't believe that Wakefield & Assoc., Called me and then told me now to get mad over this!
