I answered on the third ring and they had already hung up. When I called back, I got the message:  "Hello and thank you for calling ....  We represent several charities.... Sorry to have missed your call ...."  They never specifically said who they were or which charity they were calling on behalf of.

Received phone call and I didn't answer.  No message left . .caller ID showed Out of Area.

I recieve calls from this "charity collection" number all the time.  Just found out I could block the call and will do so.

Calling home and cell phone. Not leaving messages and hanging up when you do answer.

I just received another call........as everyone else, it is an immediate hang up.  I have never received a message but I am definitely on the DO NOT CALL list so they should definitely be reported.  Don't have caller ID so did *69 to get the # for about the 5th time.

Continually calls and never leaves a message. Don’t have time to talk to every unsolicited call under the sun, so I don’t pick up unless someone’s leaving a message. I am on the no call lists. Very annoying though.

Left voice mail, "Thank You", masculine deep voice, some back ground noise but can't make it out. Am also on NO CALL LIST.  How to stop these disturbing calls?

Continue to receive calls as others have indicated, with an immediate hang up.  No messages received and caller ID is "Unknown Name". I too am on the "DO NOT CALL list". It's getting beyond annoying.

This is a scam machine calling.  Do not call it back.  Any company that blocks it's name must be a scam!

just called the 303-317-6309, after the whole message there is an internal do not call list and I was able to leave a message to do not call me again.

Called three times in one day.  Upon answer, immediate hang up.  Same number left an "important" message on my voicemail regarding breast cancer.

The only calls that are not covered by the National Do Not Call List are: political organizations, charities, phone surveyors, and any company that you have established a business relationship with by placing an order through said company or by other means.

Telemarketers are responsible for removing your phone number from their calling lists within 31 days of you registering your number on the DNC List.

The National Do Not Call Registry applies to any plan, program, or campaign to sell goods or services through interstate phone calls. This includes telemarketers who solicit consumers, often on behalf of third party sellers. How will the National Do Not Call Registry work?

Starting January 1, 2005, telemarketers and sellers will be required to search the registry at least once every 31 days and drop from their call lists the phone numbers of consumers who have registered. Through December 31, 2004, telemarketers will have to update their lists every three months. The dedicated, fully automated and secure Web site at www.telemarketing.donotcall.gov will provide this information to telemarketers and sellers.

When an organization accesses the system for the first time, it will have to create a profile and provide some identifying information, such as organization name and address, authorized representative, and the representative's telephone number and email address. If an organization is accessing the registry on behalf of a client-seller, the organization may need to identify the client (or clients).

The only consumer information organizations will be able to access from the national registry is a registrant's telephone number. Consumers' phone numbers will be sorted and available by area code. Each organization accessing the registry data will be required to pay an annual fee based on the number of area codes the company accesses.

On subsequent visits to www.telemarketing.donotcall.gov, organizations will be able to download either a complete updated list of numbers from their selected area codes or a more limited list that shows additions or deletions since the last download.

A consumer who receives a telemarketing call despite being on the registry will be able to file a complaint with the FTC, either online or by calling a toll-free number. Violators could be fined up to $11,000 per incident.

I think this is pretty clear and as far as I'm concerned soliciters have no excuse to call people who have taken the time to register.  If companies are wasting their money to buy lists with numbers that are registered on the DNC and call them I personally have no problem filing a complaint and hope they get charged the maximum amout of $11,000 every single time.

I am bombarded by calls daily from this number -- sometimes 3-4 times per day for over a month. They claim to be affiliated with the American Breast Cancer Association (????).  Not only are they disruptive and annoying since no one EVER speaks when I do answer the calls, they have become harassing as well when they roll into my voice mail. I have tried to contact the agency via the phone # listed on their website (www.abca.info/) to seek help but, no surprise, THEIR phone lines have been disconnected. I have also tried to contact someone at 303-317-6309 but have not been able to leave a message as instructed due to the answering system failure.

We get called everyday 2-3 times a day by this same number. The never leave a message. It is such a pain. I wish it would stop.

I haven't received a call from these people more than once a day, but they've been calling for a couple weeks now, and like the others, they don't leave messages when no one answers and when I do answer, they are silent.  

I called the number back and laughed when I listened to their idiotic message...if they are out to help people so much, why won't they talk when someone answers the phone?  Anyway, the message stated that if you don't want to be called back by them, leave your name and number and they will remove you from their call back list.  We'll see if it works.

This Company in contracted to American Breast Association, for Colorado.  If you are having problems with these phone calls please contact ABA and file a complaint they will address the situation with the contracted company.  Or Leave a message on the [303]317-6309 answering machine.

no message,no talking when phone is answered

They call at least twice a day and they've been calling for several weeks.  The number comes up "out of area".  Today it came up "out of area" with a phone number so I looked it up and came to this site to report.  The only reason I picked it up today (for the first time) is because I'm expecting two calls from stores (I realize the store name would come up), but I wanted to make sure.  She said something when I picked up - not sure if it was an attempt at my name or what - I just said "no" and hung up.

They keep trying to call here too.  I sure wouldn't donate to anyone form this phone numnber, even if it were a worthy charity!!

Received several phone calls from this number claiming to be collecting money for the american breast cancer association, however nobdy is ever available to speak when the telephone is answered.  Throught the power of public records, I found out how to make them stop calling.  The registered agent for this association is Rabeya Sarkar in Martinez GA, you can reach her at home at (706)860-8127, ask her to have this annoying company in Denver stop calling you.  Maybe if she gets enough calls, she'll tell the company to in Denver to cut it out.

Calls frequently, never leaves message, never reply to my 'hello', and is very annoying. Is there any way the A.G. or other agencies could put a stop to these annoying calls? I am on the now call list, but who do we report these calls?

This person has called twice daily for five days in a row. At times I miss the call and they do not leave a message, other times I answer and it's as if someone is there but not answering. Then they hang up. Sounds like the people that work for this charity aren't doing thier job if they are trying to sell any of us anything.
