This number has called me twice today with no one on the other end. I called it back and got no answer. These computerized phone calls from telemarketers are scumbags. The government needs to make a law to stop these jerks. If I want to buy something I will do my own leg work and phone calls to order. I do not need these stupid marketers calling me to sell me crap I do not want. Does anyone know of a way to find out who is calling from 303-333-0678? My caller id shows "Simon Says Read" and then the number 303/333-0678.

This number keeps calling me every other day...no one says anything or leaves a message....when I try to call it back no one answers....

Call 206-575-7954 to talk to the office and have your number removed...

We shouldn't have to be bothered with calling an office to have our numbers removed. Especially if we are listted on the DO NOT CALL list.

The company is Seattle Specialties in Colorado. The company has a Washington State business license. The address for the business is 8860 Federal Blvd Ste 64E Denver, CO 80260. The owner of the company is Thomas De Winter his address listed on the business license is listed as 14600 VINE ST THORNTON , CO 80602. Here are phone numbers that have been made public - 303-771-1143, 303-650-5555, 800-448-1541. Stop by both addresses if you are in the Denver area. See if you can sell Mr. De Winter some pens and magnets or maybe a brain. Call and mail Mr. De Winter as much as possible so he can experience what it is like to have his time wasted.

They don't get paid to be verbally abusive. They deserve every bit of verbal abuse they get for their commando tactics and refusal to listen to reasonable calm requests to be removed from their database. Calling my business and becoming verbally abusive and threatening to my person and my business in response to my reaction to them does  constitute harassment. Check it out: I just filed an official complaint against them with the FTC.

Their "job" is to politely accept my "NO" when they cold-call me. Only a true jack*** would defend their offensive behavior. It's not capitalism, it's bullying.

Number they used to call me was already disconected.
I then called the 303-771-1109 number and got them on the line. Told them I googled them and know right where she was sitting and would come there and talk to her in person about the phone calls if I got 1 more. Said I would be off the list by the end of the day.
So far I got about dozen calls

They should be able to trace them to the 303-771-1109 number real easy if I could do it.

does anyone have their fax number.  I intend on burning their toner out.  Send a black piece of construction paper through you fax machine. You may want to put a***ole on the black paper in white out.  send the fax about 100 times and the toner cartridge will be toast.  i encourage everyone to do this.  they are nasty b*****ds

Buddy, I don't think there is a DNC List for Businesses. On the Q&A sheet on the Government DNC website it states:

The National Do Not Call Registry is only for personal phone numbers. Business-to-business calls and faxes are not covered by the National Do Not Call Registry.

I own a coproration and we do telemarketing to businesses. So i know the telemarketing laws and there is a dnc list for businesses. So dave Please Know what you are talking about.
I did order pens from this company and do not know anything about them but with reading all these stories i will not do it again. There is a law for there behavior its called diorderly conduct.

Actualy I used to work for these a***oles they are in Federal Hights Co just north of denver. I was fired for not fitting the "corporate model" which realy means I liked treating people with respect. No biggie though. I have since become a licenced insurance Broker and make more money than thier whole company while still treating my clients with respect. Any way they are located on 88th and federal ave in federal hights in a small warehouse type building with an old rusted out sign on the roof. If anyone wants to go and speak to them personaly this is the place.

Having been in the telemarketing industry for a while...I can tell you folks that there is NO "Do not call list" for businesses.  The minute you associate a number, whether it's your home phone or not, with a business...your number is no longer eligible to be placed on the DNC list.  So, if you put your home/cell number on a business card...that number is no longer eligible to be placed on the DNC.

I have seen this number on my caller id nearly daily for a month.  Finally I was in when they called and when I said hello they hung up.   How can we get this to stop

These people (Seattle Specialties) call my direct business line 4-6 times per day, asking for the boss of the company.  When I ask them what they need, they say it's a business matter and can only speak to the boss.  (LOL  they just called again as I'm typing this)  They become extremely beligerent when I ask to be removed from their calling list.

I have recceived 4 calls this week from Seattle Specialties and when I ask them to take me off their list, they hang up on me.  I found the number for their Denver location and spoke to someone by the name of Jackie, informed her of the problem as well as the numerous blogs out there who view this company's tactics negatively and she told me she take my number out of their system, but seemed uninterested in what I had to tell her.  Their active number is 303-650-5555 if you want to share your opinion with them, but be prepared, they disconnect their number constantly.

Seattle Specialties gets their numbers from Info USA  I called Infro USA and asked that my name and number be taken out of their system and not sold to any of their clients.  Info USA number id 1-800-321-0869.  Info USA was very nice and checked all my numbers to makes sure they were removed.

Now, I will wait and see if it really happens.  I am hopeful.

We had the exact identical problem for the last 2 weeks. Seattle Specialty main number is (800) 448-1541 or (303) 650-5555. May want to call them to remove your number from the calling list. FCA and Better Business Bureau may help filing a complaint. Good luck

Keep receiving at lease 5-6 phone calls from a very RUDE lady with caller ID (303) 771-1143 trying to sell us pens...!?!  When we called the number back it is a disconnected number, but we got to the bottom of it. Seattle Specialty real number is (800) 448-1541 or (303) 650-5555 . Called them to have our name and number removed from the list, hopefully it works.... All of our employees are annoyed and tired of these unnecessary phone calls.

Hey i got this same call at my business last week and again this week. The jerk said the same thing to me on the phone, cussing at me and all cause i wouldn't give him to the boss, little did he know i am the boss and owner, what a looser. Had they gave me there # so i could call them back if i ever wanted there services then maybe they would have earned my business one day. This company needs to be shut down and prosecuted.

Well, I cannot say that my call came from THAT number specifically as I do not have an ID box hooked up to this phone yet. But, I was in my new business location about 30 seconds, literally, when the phone rang. It was a guy asking for the owner. I asked what he was selling. He asked who I was and I replied that I'm the person who had this phone line hooked up only four days ago yet am answering 3 telemarketer calls per hour.

He did ID himself as being from Seattle Specialties and explained his reason for calling. I told him that I already have pens on order (ok, I lied, but I do use VistaPrint for most of my promotional needs and will do so soon) and that I'm the type who prefers to search out businesses when I need something instead of being bought like livestock.

Amazingly, at least in contrast to the postings I'm reading here, he was kind and seemingly understanding. If he was peeved, he did not get belligerent or even let on. I admit I liked that much, considering three calls in one hour yesterday were from the SAME company trying to sell me merchant services. Yeah, I'm going to buy a credit card machine from a stranger who bought my number. Riiiight.

these people are now using this # 303-771-1143,tried returning this call and when dialed, it says this # is no longer in service. 3rd time they have called in a week, and each time i reguest to be taken of list they hang-up on me before i'm finished!!!!!!!!!!

Some Carriers have an optional service whereby you can block specific incoming numbers from calling you!
