This number keep calling me saying that I owe on a payday loan and that their is lawsuit against me. And if I don't pay total of $ 500 from my checking account the they will take further law action. That I need to give them my checking account information. I told them I not give them my checking account because I only had one payday loan and I only owe them $100 and that it not due till Sep. 28th.So these people who are calling me are SCAM, they just want people money and want to scare people so that they can take their money. He said that he was calling from Hopkins Law Firm that his name was Mr.Anderson. They keep calling me will not stop. So I finally told them if they keep calling me that I was going to call the police on them and that the police will trace their call. That how I finally got them to stop calling me because I scare them.

Please do not given in to these callers.  I have been under attack for the past two years, they keep alternating their number and names.  When it began I was naive and I allowed them to bully me into making payments.  After paying a significant amount of money,  and not receiving the promised documentation.  I hired an attorney to receive the calls for me; I also reached out to the States Attorney's Office and filed a complaint with the FBI.  

My attorney and both the reps from the State's Attorney's office and the FBI field office told me it is a scam.  There is nothing you can do but wait it out and continue to stand firm.  As I stated I have been at this for two years now, initially it was two years.  It escalated when I refused to pay anymore money.  Now it happens every 3 to 6 months.

Unfortunately, I made a bad decision, and as a result I have learned a very expensive lesson.  It really boils down to a the following: 1) Pray for release from the trap (which is what I did); 2) For piece of mind - research the both the State and Federal laws regarding debt collection;  3) Check out the companies they say they are with (Look them upon the internet) and 4) Lasty and most important be willing to take a stand.

If you stick to your guns they will get tired and realize they cannot get to you.  Being educated about the laws will help you piece of mind as you make your stand.

I received a call from (303) 351-4864 stating I have an old debt and I have never takin out a payday loan. they tried telling me it was from years ago and they knew who i worked for. I have only been employed for 2 months and they tried stating this loan was from when I stated with the company many years ago. This is fraud and i have reported them to many agencies. DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY

I received a call from a Mr. Anderson stating he was from a legal company for collections on a loan that I have never even hear of before.  I told him I never had any loan from this "payday cash" for Year 2011.  I stated to this person that I did not acknowledge this collection on a loan company for a loan amount I did not take ever.  He stated that he would just go through my employment to sue me for collections.  I stated that I would prefer he send me some type of hardcopy of mail proving this debt to my mailbox first before I acknowledge any type of debt at all.  He stated he will go through my employment and quickly hung up on me.

Thank you for noting this scam.  When I got the calls on my answering machine I thought it was odd.  Then when I thought about it, if it was legit, they would be serving legal papers, not calling on the phone and taling in a menacing way.

I think it would be hilarious if some of us called them back and told them the best number to call us on was a different number and then gave them one of those phone numbers where they charge $500 a minute!  Scam the scammers!

this number called me saying i would have to go to court if i didn't pay them for some payday loan and i would have to go to prision... So out of the kindness of my heart i paid it cause i can afford to be put in jail for no reason cauce i got a newborn baby boy at home now these people left me dry with no way to get food for my little boy. Someone needs to catch these poeple and take them to jail....

I am getting calls from this number claiming to be an officer from a financial crime devision and that there is a case pending and we should call back immediately. I will not answer the calls.

This person call me two time saiding that I have a payday loan and if I do not call them back they will send it up for legal matter.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone as well.  They do speak with a deep accent and if was an officer so and so from the Pima Sheriffs Dept about a payday loan that I took out and that I need to call them immediately to resolve this issue because if I don't I will be arrested.  They had all of my information.  I am so sorry that I took out an online payday loan, but I did pay it back.  I cannot stand all of the constant calls that keep coming to me.  I want it to stop, but I don't know how to do it.  They will call from this number 303-351-4864 and different numbers such as 360-461-3770.  It has got me so upset that my blood pressure has gone up and I may need to be hospitalized.  Does anyone have any advice?  I don't  know how much more I can take!!  I don't want them calling my place of employment nor any of my family members.  How can I get this to stop?  I know this is a SCAM but I really need them to stop.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone and yes it's a SCAM they speak with a deep accent and very rude they left me a message. I spoke with a uniformed officer that stated they don't call you about money they come and get you with the correct paper work. I spoke with a payday place to get more information on this and they stated just hang up on them they don't practice like that. SCAM SCAM.

I have called the FCC to report these scammers and they informed me that reason why nothing can be done about it is because they are calling from outside the United States. The good thing is that they cannot take your money unless you give it to them.

Same things, law suit blah blah blah I told him I'm a criminal justice major I know how lawsuits work, and that he is being reported to the FBI he laughed and said miss jessEEcaa I'm calling your manager and you will be arrested tomorrow. I got a call from that same number, but they said it was Wilkins law firm. I am sure two differnt law firms have the same number. Who do these people think they are kidding?

I have gotten calls from a " Mr Anderson " also. My bank told me that theses kinds of calls were a scam and not to give them any information at all.

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone and at work from 303-351-4864 from an Officer White and Mr. Anderson with heavy accents stating I have committed fraud and that I have stollen someones identity and I owe them money. I asked for who they were collecting for they refused to give me the name of the company. I then advised him I wanted it in writing and he got rude and demanded to speak to my supervisor. He spoke to her and was told not to call the office again and the county of tulare hr office is now looking into it.

Just called me accusing me of the same stuff.  Figured it was a scam. He told me he was from Hopkins Law Firm Arkansas. I googled them and they do not have any lawyers with that name.  How do I report them?

You can always recognnize these scams by the way these morons present themselves and the language they use. THESE IDIOTS DON'T KNOW THE LAWS IN THIS COUNTRY, If they did they wouldn't sound like a**holes on the phone.

If they have all of your info   I'd seriously think about changing my accounts and putting a fraud alert on my credit report

best bet is to just call them back or they continue. I told the guy I was going to"stick my shoe so far up their a** that he'd taste shoe leather for breakfast" they tried this 2 years ago when they got my info and called my place of work and told me they were going to arrest me and all this crap. They are scammers plain and simple do not give them any info.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number, saying that I must pay to payday cash an amount of over $500.00 and that if I do not make the payment I will end up in court, or in jail.

Same thing happened to me. Man with an accent left a voicemail on my cell phone that I can barely understand but stated he was an officer and I needed a call back because this was very serious and I could face serious legal crimes. I just am not calling back and if they keep harrasing I will get a lawyer.

This man by the name Roger black acting like he is a officer and talking to me about a loan that I've never even recieved. Then he tries to makes comments about my ssi number being blocked and all that. Same dude same story only this time they were harrassing my 12 year old son.  I told him that if he called one more time that I would turn him in for harrassment and he went off on me calling me an SOB.....I asked him if he'd like a slurpee and how much my cab fare was....apparently he didn't like the tables turned....
