whois.com lists that domain registrant / administrator (sooper.org) as Michael Payne, 195 15th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215, 1-917-331-0565

This morning the 800-971-6535 to respond to is non-working

Immediately thought, "SCAM!" and checked here.  I will try to find out how to report this.  Do not call them back!

I recieved a text message "3033766853@sooer.org//SooperCU locked your card: 419457xxxxxxxx Please contact us immediately at:3035529838. Number comes back to verizon wireless with no answer.

Same exact text message this morning.  I didn't call.  I hope the police are involved... definite phishing

Same message, I didn't call, just google the phone number and got this. I don't have an account there.

Recieved text no accounts at Sooper CU have good friend who works there let her know it is a scam as you all knew. Work for another CU they will not text you unless you have signed up for that service I only know of one CU that offers that at this time. Text came from 303-376-8533 but to call 303-552-9838

received a text from this number with the above scam.

I googled sooper.org and found this message on their web site
"SECURITY ALERT - We have received numerous reports of fraudulent text messages that appear to have come from Sooper Credit Union. Sooper Credit Union did not authorize these text messages and we will never ask for your personal financial information. If you responded by calling the phone number in the text message and you provided your account information and are a member of Sooper Credit Union please contact us at 303-427-5005. If you are not a member of Sooper Credit Union but did provide personal financial information, please contact your financial institution immediately."

3033768533@sooper.org - sooper cu locked your card - please contact us immediately at 3035529838 - I called the second number at it switched me over to another phone which just kept ringing - another scam
