Claimed to be an AT&T partner and needed to speak the person that handles our phone bill.

I've gotten tons of calls from this number--they never leave a message with voicemail.  Finally, I answered it--someone claimed that she was with AT&T and was offering a DSL upgrade.  She said it would be free for the first 90 days, then there would be an additional charge of $10 on my bill if I didn't cancel within the 90 days.  All she asked me to do was confirm my address and fax number.  I've since received 2 e-mails, "confirming" the upgrade.  But the e-mail address that sends them doesn't appear to be a legitimate AT&T service e-mail address.  I'm calling AT&T today to notify them about the call, and to verify with them about the DSL upgrade.  Or, at least to let them know that there's a potential scam using their name.

I get calls from this number a few times a week. Everytime I answer these silence on the other end and they hang up on me. I'm tired of it. It's a waste of my time when I'm very busy here at work.

The minion said he was with TMG, an affiliate of Qwest.  He wanted to talk to our office manager but didn't know the name, so I told him he isn't in and can I take a message.  Of course, he declined and said he would call back.  So I took the opportunity to find out if they really are affiliated with Qwest...

So I called the number as he suggested and spoke to Judy.  She confirmed that there is indeed NO AFFILIATION between them and TMG, that they have been receiving other complaints about TMG and other companies like them who are claiming to be affiliated with Qwest and to avoid giving these callers ANY information whatsoever.

I can't wait for Keith Willenburg, the minion of TMG, to call me back.  Oh, it will be sweet!

Boy...do I "HATE" hang-up callers, ESPECIALLY, when they call "OUR" phone number and wait...until you've announced company name, only to be so "RUDELY" hung-up on by the jerks that called "YOU," in the first place!!  This is so-o-oo-oo wrong and a "TOTAL WASTE" of my time!!  How do we get deleted from these jerks phone listings??  I'm sick and tired of being so rudely treated by those "WHO WILL 'NEVER' BE GETTING ONE THIN DIME FROM US!!!"  Agencies like these are short of being criminal and the biggest nuisance...ever created!!!  GET A REAL JOB AND LEAVE US WORKING PEOPLE ALONE!!!!

I received a call from this number today.
he said he was calling from the new AT&T and to thank me for using their internet and that the DSL was being upgraded. I said I dont care and dont have time to listen. He kept on running his mouth, finally I added a few expletive deletives and hung up.
He called right back and said Hello? Then he hung up on me.
Im going to do a fcc complaint on it.

ALWAYS a hang-up; however, we have an endless variety of callers who attempt to identify themselves as QWest, and claiming to just need our approval to reduce our monthly bill since the new services offered are SO much cheaper.  LIAR, LIAR!
When I confront them, they say they're something-something an "affiliate" of qwest.

Just calls and calls daily and doesn't leave message !!! Definitely will not be answering this phone call after reading all of the posts. It's so bad I've actually memorized the number that shows up on my caller id.... I'm just worried they'll call someone else here at work and get info they don't need...

These idiots call my office once a day now.  Today, a woman called claiming (once again) to be affiliated with Qwest stating how much money we can save if we "switch" over to them, blah blah blah, I said "you guys call every day after being asked to remove us from the list."  She got all snooty and puffed up and said (in a very high pitched irritating voice that just added to the aggravation of the entire ordeal) "well ma'am, do you realize that there is more than one call center and its not just me doing this, and we can't always update our system right away, blah blah blah."  What a total moron.  These people must think that everybody is a moron like them.

No one is there when we answer.  We are in the do-not-call list and have been for years.  We update it yearly, as well.
Looking at the above posts, these calls are from a phone marketing company; we get countless calls from companies who try to make us think they are QWest, when they're actually trying to manipulate you into changing services.
Since the cowards won't speak when we answer, I don't know if this is the case with them or not.

I did a little research... Could be way off but I have reason to believe that this number - 303-386-8277 - is related to any or all of the following (I could be wrong though):
-- Very likely that it's related (somehow) to another number - 720-921-0369
-- Fairly likely that the 'location' is in the vicinity of the Sheridan Blvd W & 17th Ave intersection in Denver, CO
-- Possibly has something to do with Pitney Bowes
