They've been harrassing us for over 2 years. I've reported them to the FCC, I've spoken to a "supervisor." I've called back and spoken to a "supervisor" to report the harrassment. They insist they don't have a call list to remove us from, they just pull a list from the government every x amount of days, and that's why they can't take us off their calling list.

They also have deliberately lied and said they represent the Maryland state government, and that we can't resolve our issue without going through Clear Creek. I sent an email to Maryland, but no reply.

My new motto is: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!! Every time they call, I call them back at least 10-15 times, and stay silent. I love hearing their voices get more and more frustrated the more I do it. Although, cheeky of them to be frustrated, since they're doing worse to us.

They called asking for somebody I don't know.  Told them "wrong number" then they proceeded to ask me if I was in trouble with the state or federal gov't.  Seriously?

Caller ID said Clear Creek.

Crazy people.  Super rude.  She says I have an overcharge one minute and then calls me right back and says I'm in trouble with the IRS.  Whatever lady.  I hung up on her.  Then her "supervisor" calls back and says I don't handle my business right.

I think they tried to tap into my laptop and check my emails they are fbi that call to tap your phone

They called about a tax lien that I do not have.

Just received a call from this number and the person identified herself as Pam.  Asked to speak to the owner and told her he was busy could I take a message. Said no that she would call back and hung up.  I looked the number up and it said Clear Creek Taxes.  Won't have to worry about them calling back because I blocked her number and their 877-897-5786 number also.

They left a message that I overpaid a bill and they were calling to give me money back.  I havn't done business with them.

Yes, the dear gal from Clear Creek has called me four times over the past two days.  It seems that she wants to tell me that I have an IRS lien that they can help me with.  

Shame that I'm an attorney and asked her to kindly name the state that the lien was perfected in.  (The IRS and state taxing authorities must go through an administrative or a judicial proceeding before they can attach property by lien - and, that record of a lien is filed with the office of the state's attorney general and/or your county recorder of deeds - making the recorded lien a "Public notice" to you and to your other creditors.)

She wouldn't give me a state and didn't know my last name.  From this point on I'm going to say, "Zimmerman" and ask her for directions to her office.  CON ARTIST

Got a voice message from an Alana at Clear Creek asking me to return her call asap concerning an overcharge. She wanted to make sure she had the right dept. to clear this up. Said she was reffered to me by a Ken Huston. This whole thing sounded fishy so I "binged it" Found this site very helpful. I will NOT be returning her call:)::):)

When this company calls you, simply tell them to Cease and Desist all calls to this number, they will have the right of one more call after that. If they continue to call after that, then they have violated your federal rights and can be sued per violation (per word said, up to $1,200/per). That will get their attention and get them to stop calling. I have sued companies like this in the past and have won. It's all in the verbage you speak. Know your rights and enact them or these companies will continue to prey on you.

They have been asked mutliple times to remove from call list but will not.

They just called my store with the old name that we changed a few months ago.  He asked to speak to the owner who died about two months ago.  He was very rude, asked for my accountant's number, said there are some issues going on with the state.  I said, "You're not calling from a South Carolina area code so how do you know what's going on here?"  He said, "We have agents all over the country" and hung up.  RUDE.  By the way, the number came up as "Unknown Name."

called five times this morning saying they had the wrong number..get a life scammers. I will report them this is not the first time they have called my business

This group of bottom dwellers will NEVER quit. Hang up on them and they will call back from a unknown or private number. This just the kind of unnecessary crap a business has to deal with when your business has a listed phone number. HOWEVER, I have found out they aren't quite as determined when you answer the phone with "THIS PHONE CALL IS BEING RECORDED." It is rather satisfying to turn the tables on them and they quickly hang up. TRY IT, IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!!!!

Reported to BBB. They were very reluctant to give their company name unless I gave them mine (which I did not). Told them not to call or they would hear from our atty. We do not have any tax liens.

But it's interesting they are both in CO. Berkshire has been contacted by our atty and told to cease and desist, and were reported to the state AG. Told ClearCreek they would be similarly contacted if they call again. They should also be fined for violating the National Do Not Call Registry.

A woman called wanting to know if this was Clear Creek.  I said I didn't know what Clear Creek was.  She hung  up.  I decided to look up the number she called from that appeared on my caller ID which was 303-426-1075 because as always I had answered the call saying this is Joanne, how may I help you.  Yikes.

Received call about restaurant next door. Has nothing to do with me. They are obviously hunting around, calling people in the vicinity of their target. Extremely suspicious.

Exactly correct.  Rude people,  want to talk to owner,  said they've left messages beofre (a lie),  they've been told repeatedly that we are on the Do Not Call Registry.
