I do hope you receive this post.  Were you successful in the class action lawsuit against this company?  This company has charged my friends' mother, who is 81 years old, $1200 on her credit card and will not refund the money.  We would love to help in any way to bring justice to this fraidulent company.  Please respond back to moody9732003@yahoo.com.

This company is run by thieves who have stolen my money and not followed through on their promises. They will not return my phone calls, but they occasionally leave me nasty messages. Do not do business with these criminals.

I've been getting calls from these people. I've cancelled my bank account because they charged me twice for magazines I never ordered

They keep on calling me, they took $75 out of my account, went into overdraft fees, supper pissed! So i cancel my bank account and made a new one,

They keep me calling as well. They said I had an obligation with company and if I couldn't pay it all once they could work some sort of deal with me. I told them I'm not paying them anything. The guy I also spoke to even  compared it to paying for a house or a car. They said if I paid $949.00 they could cancelled my so called account. They keep calling me. I told them I'm to change my number and he said "DO It!. Because we'll find you and keep calling that number".  SCARY!! At this point I don't know what to do.

I'm having the same problem right now. They keep calling me for payment. And the first person I spoke to said I could cancel after 3 months because that was their minimal for the deal. Any help to stop them from calling.

I am so glad I found this thread! Back in December I got a call super early in the morning from them. The cell phone service in my house is so bad that the guy was breaking up and I didn't have any clue just how much money I would be paying or that it was a five year contract...they promised a lot of free things and because I'm a college sophomore and an idiot, I did sign up with them. In February they called and said I qualified to have my payment amount reduced if I paid a lot of it upfront. I tried to cancel at that point because I had changed my mind, but they refused to do it. The lady on the phone was extremely nasty and yelling at me that they would send me to collections and take me to court if I didn't keep paying... They replayed part of a recording from the original phone call of being agreeing to it and that really freaked me out. I've been too embarrassed to get my parents involved, so I just cancelled my debit card and if they try to take more money out, I'll let the bank know I guess... I've already paid them about $350 and I feel like an idiot for giving out information over the phone. At this point I don't even care about getting my money back, I just want them to go away and not pay another dime, I'm already broke enough as it is. I'm too afraid to call them and demand my money back, since last time the woman reduced me to tears. I'll never understand how people can be so horrible... This scam needs to stop.

Yeah they subscribed me for magazines and told me it would take 90 to 120 days to get my first magazine. THAT`S ridiculous! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Just change your bank card or change your credit card, but never give your checking account number!

If you are lucky enough to contact your credit card company before the initial charge goes through and let them know
you are attempting to cancel the order before the card is charged and you believe this company is fraudulent MAYBE
things will work out.

It has only been two days since I received the call and I have been on the case once I realized how
much money they were extorting from me and that I really didn't want that many magazines ending up in my recycling bin.

I canceled my Credit Card immediately. They can not charge anything to the new Credit Card Number.
My Credit Card told me I wouldn't be responsible for the Initial Charge. I hope so.

These folks are still at it in 2012.

I cancelled my subscription within 24 hours of being stupid enough to agree to the solicitation.
I reported them as a scam to my credit card company at the same time.
I let Subscriber Services know that I had been in touch with my credit card company.
I changed my credit card number as soon as possible.
Subscriber Services tells me they are refunding my first payment as they
did agree to cancel my order and gave me a cancellation number.
Meanwhile my credit card company is sending me a dispute resolution form
and will get the authorities involved regarding their unfair business practices.

Bottom Line is don't let feeling like an idiot get in the way of taking charge of the situation ASAP.
The sooner the better. Complain to any and every entity who will listen and take action.

They are trying to pass themselves off as a legitimate Magazine reseller Magazine Bargains.
The Key difference is Subscriber Services Uses an S at the end of Magazine.

I contacted Magazine Bargains not knowing they were a different company.
After several emails back and forth they gave me their phone number to speak
with a customer service representative. At that point i believed they were not connected to
Subscriber Services.
In turn I notified that company someone was trying to solicit customers misleading them
to believe it was Magazine Bargains. That company may take some action if enough people
complain and accuse them of being fraudulent.

If you cancel your subscription within 24 hours file a complaint with your credit card company

I have the same problem. When subscribing they didn't tell me that it was non cancelable, that I was signing a 5 year contract and they lied about the amount I was paying. I should have been more aware of what was going on. This has to be illegal in some way. I've tried several times to cancel but they won't, this is soo frustrating. Any suggestions?

DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION THEY ARE A SCAM  COMPANY  THEY JUST STOLE 575.00 FROM MY SON .. REPORT THEM TO BBB AS SOON AS YOU AN .. HATE THAT WE CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS CRAP...

So after you cancelled your card everything was ok? Did it ever show up on your credit? I just cancelled my card and I was just wondering how everything turned out for you.

Can they or did they affect your credit?

Did they report to your creditors after you cancelled your card?

Everyone...This business is still going on! Please report ALL incidences from any state to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU at http://bbb.org They will contact the business for you and try to work something out. I am currently in this process and waiting to hear back from BBB. BBB also accredits businesses and the more bad they hear about a business, that business can be suspended or they get a bad rating and soon the word will spread even bigger! That is what we want! The BBB can get something done for you. This Subscriber services, Inc is located in Denver so make sure you are on the denver.bbb.org website. PLEASE FILE THE COMPLAINT even if it happened to you years ago! Hope this helps!

I talked to my bank and they advised to just cancel and reissue new debit card.

Just received a call from this number at my work line.  It was very loud in the background and the guy on the other line wasn't talking to me, it sounded like he was having a conversation with someone sitting next to him and didn't realize I had picked up.  It just sounded strange - maybe it was a recording?  Either way, I hung up.  I'll check back in here if they call again.

These people are relentless. I was even told f@ck you bi*** by one of their operators. They will not leave me alone. I live in NM and they are sending me Bass Fisherman magazines!

Not only that i paid once becuase i didn;t find a way to get out of it and i was scared not to be put in collections, I keep getting phone calls for renewal that i haven't "completed" but agreed on. I want to make a complain to Better Business Bureau and also be part of the anything that would close their scam down.

They'll let you cancel as long as you tell them your hiring an attorney.

Cancel your credit card. i did that and its a scam    call your bank and explain your situation

they promised me a 100.00 wal mart card but have yet to receive it
also are sending mag i didnt want.

I don't know if that address is correct because a lot of phone numbers / addresses i find online are no longer correct - but the cursory search for the phone number brought up that.....
