This is yet another of the "printer manufacturers" that constantly hound businesses about "high yeild" printer cartridges, toners and the like.  Ask them to take your number off their call list OR to place you on the DO NOT CALL list.  By law they are required to do so.

they called and want to sell us a printer cartridge for our Epson, he price was $ 313 for one cartridge high yield.  For that price it should last 5 years.

What a joke, his name was John McCoy (probably fake)

They called.  I answered the phone. They hung up.  I called back three times.  Every time, I'd hear a clicking noise, then beeping.  Probably a robo-dialer.

Got a call from this number, they asked who buys our ink for our printers.  When I told them we have to buy ours from our printer supplier it's in our contract, he said "oh, really".  and hung up.

I do not appreciate the call in the first place but if you are going to call, DO NOT be rude!!

Yes, James with a deep voice hung up on me too. I take a lot of calls and really hate it when people are so rude! Next time I am going to tell him I want to buy 100 and hang up on him.  I feel sorry for any legit company that uses the name reliable.

I got a call from this number.  The guy sounded personable over the phone.  As soon as he proceeded to talk about his company (able to save us A LOT of money blah blah blah and wants our printer number), I just hung up.  Cuz I know these types of ppl are out to scam you.  He keeps calling and leaving harrassing voicemails.  So now, I am saving all his voicemails.  Don't fall victim to this guy!  He goes by several names.  What a loser!  He has no life.

Our company gets these calls ALL THE TIME. These people are super rude and assume the rest of the world is dumb enough to fall for this load of crap. If you want a quick way to get rid of them tell them all of your printers and copiers are under contract with someone...do NOT tell them who--they DON'T need to know. Even if you aren't under contract (we happen to be) tell 'em anyway. They will just hang up. And just as an FYI for anyone who may be reading this and not know: If a company calls up and wants to know your copiers/printers model/serial numbers, DO NOT give them out. It's a scam so they can send out a truckload of toner and ink and then try to make you pay for it!

I just got a call as well.  I actually had one before a couple of months ago but blew it off.  Then got another today.  The gentleman asked who was in charge of ordering print supplies...I told him we just go to staples then he hung up.  There number came up unlisted.

I received two phone calls from them today - same drill as previously described (first call was from "Christian" the second was from "Don").  I asked Don for his phone number and he hung up.

I called the toll free number listed above (888-241-6899) and spoke with a woman named Mary.  I asked her several questions and see said she's only worked there for one week so she wasn't able to help.  I then asked to be put on the do not call list.  Hopefully they'll stop calling...

They're still at it.  We just received a call today.  He was adamant that he speak to a particular individual with our company.  I asked a series of questions regarding the nature of the call to which he responded, "Why are you grilling me?"  He even refused to comply and persistently argued with me when I asked that we be removed from his call list.

I too just got a "follow up" call from a guy who said his name was Lawrence Taylor from reliable. He was very personable but when I explained that I can not order ink supplies with out approval from our corporate office. Long story short, he would not take no for an answer. So I did a reverse look up for his phone number and it came up unpublished. Now, if you're a legitimate business, wouldn't your company name and number be listed?? So I googled the phone number and came across all these comments. I will be forwarding this information to our corporate so that others will not be fooled.

I received a call this morning from a guy who called himself "Eddie" and said he worked for a company called Reliable. Eddie said he had a deal on ink cartridges for my HP that I couldn't refuse--he actually informed me that when it was all said and done I was going to "love" the company...YEAH RIGHT!
When I politely told Eddie that I wasn't interested in the cartridges since I have a few already, he proceeded to condescendingly tell me that I'm obviously not the one with the authority to make buying decisions and implied that I'm a complete idiot. He was rude, crude, and really ticked me off. So I called him a cocky SOB and told him to get over himself.
I then emailed customer service at what I THOUGHT was his company...an office supply company called Reliable that I found on Google. They informed me that they have reported this other fake "Reliable" company to the BBB because they're pissing off a lot of people who then contact the REAL Reliable office supply store all upset.
What a horrible experience!

I got the same phone call and the guy was a real a**. He called back the second time and asked for accounts payable and he didn't want to give me his name, so I hung up. I called 303-443-1087 and asked the lady who answered the phone if this was Reliable Printing and she I had the wrong number. What is their purpose, to be a***oles or scammers?

Wow, just got a call from a guy asking for the person who handles our printing decisions. Being familiar with this type of sales call, I know that we are not interested in entertaining a new printing company. I told him that we unfortunately were not interested. He replied that he was not didn't care about what I had to say, that he wanted to talk to the decision maker. I answered that it was my job to field calls to the decision maker, and that I know for a fact that we aren't interested. He laughed at me and said 'You're not the boss are you? I don't want to talk to you! Why don't you let me speak to someone who makes the decisions?'

'Sir', I said, 'We are not interested. You are wasting your time as well as mine.' He then asked to speak to my supervisor! I explained to the gentleman (and I use that term loosely) that I would certainly not send him on to anyone else to waste their time. I again stated that we are not interested, that we are very happy with our current printer, and that we have no plans to switch. He laughed again and said 'You think you're the one in charge don't you? Do you make the printing decisions? It's my job to talk to your manager so let me speak to them about it!'

I asked to speak to his supervisor and requested that he give me his name. He laughed and responded by asking my name. I gave it to him, having nothing to hide, and he shouted 'Nice to meet you!!!' and hung up.

I tried to call back and speak with his supervisor, but of course the line does not accept incoming calls. Poor guy. He must live a miserable life.

These guys have called me three times in the same week and ask for "John".  On the first call I explained that I was the owner of the company and there was no John in my employ. Then came the cartridge spiel.  I was very cordial and thanked him for the call but said I was not interested as I run a paperless operation.

The guy calls me yesterday, asked for John again and I said (a little less than friendly this go), "I clearly stated that my name was XXX when I answered and I'm in the midst of an emergency and can't talk.

The caller said, "Sounds like you're having a bad day" and hung up.

Dude calls AGAIN today and guess who he's lookin' for - JOHN.

I was nice and reminded him that we had spoken two times previously and I was not in need of ink and there's no John here.

The jerk raises his voice and says, "You told my people your name was John!"

He then says that was impossible as his staff is "really old???" and wouldn't make that mistake. "And besides, I don't wanna to do business with people like you!"

I just hope that the bad economy hits this loser and he's humbled a bit when he has to find a new job with his crap attitude.

HEY
I JUST POSTED ON THE THREAD FOR THE NUMBER 888-241-6899 BUT THE NUMBER 303-443-1087 WAS WHAT CAME UP ON THE CALLER ID SO IF YOU ARE CHECKING THIS NUMBER, I WANTED TO WARN YOU AS WELL. IF YOU WANT THE FULL THREAD, TYPE THE 888 NUMBER IN THE SEARCH ... YOU'LL BE SHOCKED!

I GOT A CALL ON THURSDAY FROM A GUY (I FORGOT HIS NAME) VERY PERSONABLE, WANTED TO TALK TO THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF ORDERING OUR PRINTING SUPPLIES (THAT'S ME!) HE ASKED IF I WAS INTERESTED IN SAVING SOME MONEY ON OUR INK CARTRIDGES. WITH THE ECONOMY THE WAY IT IS, OF COURSE I'M INTERESTED IN SAVING MY DAD'S COMPANY SOME MONEY WHENEVER I CAN. SO I GAVE HIM THE THREE DIFFERENT PRINTER NUMBERS WE USE HERE, HE TOLD ME HE WOULD CHECK TO SEE IF THEY STOCK THOSE CARTRIDGES AND GIVE ME A CALL BACK.

FRIDAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A GUY BY THE NAME OF JON DOUTHIT. HE CLAIMED TO BE THE PREVIOUS CALLER'S SUPERVISOR (ALTHOUGH IT SOUNDED LIKE THE SAME GUY) AND PROCEEDED TO GIVE ME THE SPIEL THAT IT SOUNDS LIKE WE ALL GOT. I TOLD HIM I WAS INTERESTED, HE GAVE ME PRICES, I LOOKED INTO WHAT WE WERE CURRENTLY PAYING AND TOLD HIM HIS PRICES WERE QUITE COMPETITIVE. HE CONFIRMED OUR ADDY AND SAID HE WOULD LIKE TO SEND US A STARTER PACK WITH A FEW CARTRIDGES IN IT. IF WE LIKED IT, WE COULD PAY THE INVOICE AND KEEP IT. IF NOT, WE COULD SEND IT BACK WITH NO FURTHER OBLIGATION. JON TOLD ME THAT THE SHIPPING DEPARTMENT WOULD CALL ME TO CONFIRM OUR SHIPPING ADDRESS AND IF I HAD ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, I COULD CALL HIM DIRECTLY. HE GAVE ME THIS NUMBER, SAID THAT HE WAS IN DEPARTMENT B, AS IN BOULDER, CO. BECAUSE THAT WAS THE BRANCH HE WAS CALLING FROM. THE ACTUAL NUMBER THAT CAME UP ON THE CALLER ID WAS 303-443-1087. I GOOGLED THE NUMBER, WHICH IN FACT TURNED OUT TO BE A BOULDER, CO NUMBER HOWEVER IT WAS FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY. I THEN GOOGLED THE NAME JON DOUTHIT TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE HAD TALKED TO THIS PARTICULAR GUY BUT ALL THAT CAME UP WAS A FACEBOOK PROFILE.

I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY OTHER CALLS FROM THEM SO I'M HOPING THEY DON'T SEND ME ANYTHING. IF THEY DO, I THINK I WILL JUST WRITE 'RETURN TO SENDER' ON THE BOX SO I DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE BS. PERHAPS THEY ARE LEGIT AND THERE PRODUCT IS COMPATIBLE BUT I'M NOT GUNA TAKE THE CHANCE ... DON'T WANT THE HASSLE!
