Have received several calls from this number within 15 minutes of each call.  I don't answer and they never leave a message.  

This number calls me several times a week. They called three times tonight. Never leave a message

UCCS asking for money.  What a joke!  Already gave them $40,000 and now they want more?  This is modern day begging.  Costs keep going up and students are debt slaves!  This is a sign to stop going to college for a worthless degree.

I answered the call and they hung up. I used to work in the alumni department making donation calls and they never called on Sundays. Seems like it could be a scam.

Just answered a call from this number (after many others I chose not to answer). There was a lot of background noise and I kept saying "hello" then they hung up. I blocked my # and called back and just got a voice mail saying "This is the University of Colorado Foundation", where current students reach out to former students "all year long". Message sounds a little strange, and the fact that they never leave a message on my line and didn't talk when I answered.

I did receive a call a couple months back from UC Boulder Alumni association I thought was suspicious too. They asked me for personal info (address, age, year of graduation..) they should have known, since I was a (UCD) student. When I asked what the so-called benefits for alumni are, he said "uh, I don't know I'm in Boulder...I think you can get counseling". Really??? The guy was very, very inexperienced and young, which is why I wasn't too surprised, but he was VERY aggressive about me donating.

Still don't know if this is legit, but either way it pisses me off that this school wants MORE of my money when I can barely pay my loans, and my degree and department have done virtually nothing in terms of helping my career.

I got cell phone calls from this number very often.  I never answer because I don't know who the caller is, and the caller never leaves a message.  If this is a solicitor I find this very annoying and harassing.

yes, it's the University of Colorado asking for donations.  They have a student call center for donations.  If they say they don't they are lying because I've talked to them in the past.

Calls from 303 area code almost daily. Wish they would be PROSECUTED!

Got a call from this # asking for donations to the Al queda relief fund for Taliban revolution.  

I do get genuine calls from the UCD Alumi office (where I worked for a time after graduating), but their name shows up on my caller ID. No one has ever called me from the Boulder campus, and since no ID showed up on the phone,  plus
the fact that I had to cull the Internet to find any info on the number (since no one answered when I attempted to call it) makes me think this is a scam.  Even if it was legitimate,  I don't have any money to donate which makes it a moot point.

Not a scam. I had several friends in college who worked for the alumni association soliciting donations.

I don't think this is the case, I think it may be a scam posing as the UCD Alumni Org.  If you want to donate, I'd suggest doing so by calling the number posted on the official website.

I have received several calls from this number as well and have never answered, there is never a message.  I used to be a UCD student, so the scam sounds probable.  Especially since they've often called on Sunday evenings, which I assume the office is not working at that time.

Answered and they mentioned they wanted donations to support the Taliban movement.  Just outrageous.    Terrorist organization.

That sounds right. They just called my cell and UCD does not have my cell number...

It's NOT the University of Colorado Denver Alumni at all; it's a SCAM. I called the real Alumni Office and they said that they do NOT solicit donations this way.
