Carol Black has violated the law ...........she and the company are not prosecuted as they are "freinds" with the police and the DA's office ........... I was told by someone that claims that they used to work there that they are "notified" if someone files a complaint ....... and said complaint rarely is pursued by the police or the DA's office ..........

Used to do collections, isn't it illegal by FDCPA to leave 12 voice mails for someone on a machine that doesn't even identify they are even calling the right number?

I posted something a few days ago but I had to post something else. Damn holiday. Someone on here mentiond about reporting this woman to the better business Bruero. I'm gonna do that first thing tomorrow. Cause like "Second call" I too have gotten 2 calls from this woman. It's a 1woman company that's for damn sure.

A guy calling my cell phone number to verify that someone rents from me from some equipment location. I do not rent to anyone.

So I checked my credit score the other day and seen that I supposable owe them a sum of money, I Google there number and call them. I leave a message and ask for someone to call me back. I get a call back and the guy on the phone asks me for some personal information, I start to then pull back and say ?hold on can I ask you a question before I give you my info? he freaks out and tells me that I?m not going to controlee the conversation! I say I?m not trying to controlee the conversation I just don?t fill comfortable giving out my personal information to someone I don?t know. Then he told me when I?m serious about resolving my problem to call him back?.. And then hung up?.. So I call him right back and say I think we got disconnected or maybe my phone dropped the call, oh no he tells me he terminated the call and then asks me if I?m ready to answer his questions. I say I?m ready when you are, he tells me if I call him back he will call the police for harassment so I asked him if I can never call him back how can I get the answers to my questions? Ya he hung up?.. So just a FYI to anyone who reads this fight this company do not let them push you around!!! I will be taking this company to court and not letting them bully me around!!!

This is the second phone call I have received from them.  They called asking for ME, but then they said they were looking for people I have never heard of named "Meyer".  I told them I have never heard of these people.  So they politely hung up.

Today, they called again, but did not ask for me, they asked for people with the last name "Wendt".  Which is highly suspicious as they apparently have my name, my address, and phone number, but they were looking for others.

My phone number is unlisted.

That's actually illegal for them to call and request you do something on their part for them.  It's not only invasive, but it's unwanted and undeserved harassment.

Has anyone actually reported this company to the Better Business Bureau yet for unethical protocol and solicitation?  Maybe enough complaints could get them reprimanded, if not shut down.

Carol Black - Is not professional aside from what her website MetroCollections.com states. She doesn't describe the reason she is calling she is harrassing her callers. She will show up at any known address and ask to leave a note for you. She will call any number she has several times even when told she has the wrong number or person. She does collections for Apartments, Banks etc. check out the website. ***Newsflash for Carol Black ***What you are doing is considered harrassment and will be pursued legally if you do not stop calling when asked.

Carol Black 303-481-0525 apparently went online to the tax assessor and found out that I own a house that is rented to an individual to whom she wants to talk.   Black called me and started asking me my renter's phone number, where he works, what he does, etc.  I told her that I would not give out that infomration, just like I would not give out her information if she rented from me.  She got short with me and hung up.  The funny thing is, I Googled my renter's name and the City name, and his name, company, and phone number came up 5 times on the frist 10 Google results.  She must be a bit unballanced.

This number just called looking for someone else. How they got my cell is beyond me, but I do not like it!! They would not give me any info but want me to give them info. HaHa! NOT!

When I get calls from people I don't know, I say that I'm not home and ask to take a message.  Whomever called blurted out Metro and this phone number.  When I asked if I could tell him, aka me, what this was in regards to, the lady snapped "oh he knows what it's about".  

From what others have mentions, it looks like I need to check my credit reports and make sure this isn't one of these debt scams.

Any indication that they're contacting my neighbors will entail full legal actions against Metro Collection and Carol Black. Any harrasment of me on my property will definately involve the police, video, audio and legal actions. Carol Black and Metro Collections are a harrasment agency a**holes.

Steven Myers. I hate that guy. Metro Collections collects for apartments, rentals, and other companies. They are very unprofessional, and not above using threats to get you to pay them. The guy I've been dealing with, Steven Myers, is the worst. I can't even speak to him on the phone anymore.....he makes me sick. I send them money, but refuse to speak with them on the phone.

For over a year I never heard anything from them, and didn't pay them. I didn't get the usual "you broke your promise....now pay us" letter. Then all of a sudden this little bastard pops out of the woodwork and starts calling  me again. When I asked about the lack of communication, he started to stutter and wouldn't answer my questions. Fishy if you ask me.

Yeah they called me, said her name was Carol Black and she wanted me to leave a note on my neighbor's door for them to call her, weird.  Called back and another lady told me they were with Metro Collections.  How they got my number I don't know, especially since we only have cell phones that aren't listed.

They called and asked for me but the guy was only willing to tell me his name and wouldn't tell me where he was calling from so I said that I wasn't me because they wouldn't reveal who they were. I didn't even know till i googled the phone number. They called my cell phone that isn't listed even under my name it's under my husband's.
