I had Admiral Akbar sign up on my Real Estate Website requesting a call back.  He has several propeties "saved" like a real buyer.  Most people leave first and last names, not titles.

I got a call from this number today.  It was an anti-political message against Aurora mayor candidate Frazier.

Calling about a man running for Mayor of Aurora.. but the phone number says Dir assistance.

He has call me to and said the same thing. Its been going on and off for about 4 months now. i just dont answer that number anymore. I dont know what else to do. i just erase the message  soon as i hear it him.

called this morning saying they have a case against my social security number said they have 3 accounts against me then he said they was going to come  after me i never ver had a payday loan before in my life

he told me his name was nathan jones and he work for mr robinson and they were a cyber crime unit...and an officer w as going to come to my work and arrest me! i know its a joke because the officer did not call me rescritced and also he would not tell me what i was being charged with and the case number he gave me is a fake and also hung up on me

I don't answer calls from people I don't know so exactly what is going to come down on me or for what, but that is his threat. Is there a way to block these calls?

I keep getting calls from these numbers awsell 305-555-1212, 800-613-6524,781-656-5188, 855-849-3861 saying that exact script, i dont have any outstanding debt at all so i have no clue what this is about i keep ignoring the calls but now they started calling my work as well i dont know what to do.

Receive 25 calls a day at least but they call from 305-555-1212, 800-613-6524,781-656-5188, 855-849-3861, 855-893-2319, 855-654-2157, 234-789-9856, 866-260-8866, and even from 911. They have threatened me with law suit, showing up to my employer, and more. Now they are pretending to be police officers and UN officials. I have tried filing complaints with the FBI x 10 but nothing happening. I dont know what else to do now but change all my phone numbers and bank accounts.

The "good luck as this situation unfolds" line is by now a well known veiled threat favored by some of the fake payday loan collectors calling from outside U.S. borders. Their threats are empty and their rude tactics are illegal under federal law, the FDCPA. Do not argue with them, do not comply with their demands. Show them you know you have rights they are trampling.

Try demanding a mailing address or a full business name. If the caller fudges his answer or you cannot verify it, it's likely a PDL sham. Challenge their horse puckey threats; they often make rude remarks and hang up. As the bullies like to hassle people at workplaces, advise your employers and coworkers these calls are garbage.

The usual response to such a runaway debt collector stateside is to send a cease-comm letter and file suit. If you find a valid US address, please do so. Fierce consumer lawyers will leap at the chance to run such a case on contingency. However, being mostly outside U.S. borders and having no discernable addresses, these particular criminals rarely make it possible for individuals to punish them. Submit complaints to the FTC and attorneys general. The FBI is also taking comments on these hostile thugs. Pester anyone with proper authority until this fraud is investigated and smashed.

Call my wife's harrassing about a payday loan that we pay off already

I've received a lot of calls from this person also.  Same thing about me or my lawyer calling them back.  One time I made the mistake of answering the call and he told me he was going to sue me and I told him to go ahead and see who wins!

I've received several calls from them in the past few days. They even have called my work a couple of times. I've received similiar calls a few months back. The caller has an Indian accent and calls himself Brian Walker. He does leave a message that he is from some law firm with the crime unit. He has left a voice message telling me not to ignore this call and if I do not call them back or my lawyer, all I can do is to wish you good luck as this situation unfolds. I believe this to be a SCAM. Last time this occurred, I ignored it for a week and they stopped calling. Every time they leave a voice message, it is the EXACT same script, this time as well as the time a few months ago.

I received the same call today.  Do not give them no money.
