Got a call from them Oct. 17 at 12:48 p.m. an call Oct. 18 at 11:19 a.m. No message left either time.
Diana Moore 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
Don't recognize this caller.
hmmm 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
I have been receiving calls from this number all week. Multiple times a day. Three times today already. They never leave messages. I answered once and no one replied and then they hung up. Very frustrating! How can I stop this?
Hani 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
This number has called me five times in the space of 15 minutes! Twice yesterday and twice the day before as well! Getting very angry!
Peeved 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
This is crank calling! They've called me 9 times in two days and never leave messages. They never speak when I answer. When I call NET SERVICES RESEARCH back, their answering machine says "sorry if this inconvenienced you" and that's it. You can't leave a message to ask to be removed from their list. I tried blurting it out at them when I answered the next time, but I'm sure they didn't hear me and don't care. How exactly do they benefit from this?
What did they do? Troll yahoo chat groups or FB to get our phone numbers? Those are the only places they could find them- in personal communications between me and another group member. I don't post it anywhere!
The only other thing I can think of is this creepy mortgage broker who wanted our business when we moved- he didn't get it, and for the past two years he has continued to harass me with emails and automated phone calls since then. He was a real bully when I told him we were going with a different broker. Have any of the rest of you refinanced your home recently? Or bought a home?
andrea 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
This number called me twice today, once at 12:48 p.m. and again at 3:34 p.m. Didn't leave message
I don't answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, so not sure what the caller wanted.
Andrea 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
p.s. I meant Sunday, Oct. 17 not today (Oct. 18)
charles 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
This number has called me 65 times since Thursday and no one is ever there
Pebbles 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
Looks like this phone number is calling to conduct a survey.
Ken 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
Actually after doing some research, I noticed that political organizations are exempt too. I have no idea why they pretended to be a survey (maybe to get me to listen longer and not hang up as quickly).
Why are political organizations exempt from the national do-not-call list? This is ridiculous! I am being pestered by political calls! My phone is nearly useless now.
gee jun 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
some moron who cannot communicate properly just called from this number and then hung up
r a 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
unknown caller
PUZZLED 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
I am really puzzled about this number because I have answered all the political calls coming in to our phone and have told them all that there is really no more need for them to call us ever again because we have already filled in our ballots and sent them back. We always do this the same day we get them. But these people are real IDIOTS because they continue to call and I tell them the same thing every time.
Faith 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
This number called me once yesterday & again today. Each time they called, I answered, & each time, there was dead silence on the other end. Upon calling this number back, the message says "Hello, you have reached Net Research Services call-back number. We called you to to take part in a public opinion survey in your input matters. If our call was at all inconvenient to you, we do apologize Thank you & good bye." The line goes dead after that.
The FCC requires companies, by law, to leave a legit call back number & a means of stopping the phone calls. They have not offered up any of the above, so I'll be reporting them to the FCC. I suggest others do the same.
Faith, again 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
A different number called me on Thursday that I think coincides with this phone number. The number was 303-500-5584. They called me at about 7:45. Same thing, they called, & hung up when I answered.
When I called this number back, I got a voicemail answering machine, but they say the company name so quickly that I can't understand it.
If I get another phone call from Net Research Services, I'll be calling this number & leaving a voicemail regarding whether or not they are in cahoots with Net Research Services & reporting them to the FCC for using a false company name to attempt to avoid any punishment for the laws they are breaking.

The national pandemic of telephone terrorism perpetrated by desperate criminal collection agencies is because they are trying to terrorize people who are naive enough to answer and submit to unsolicited telephone calls or written "collection" letters that have no legitimate legal debt associated with them or any of the companies, universities, or whomever else they claim to represent. Because most "little guys" were bankrupted by the criminal Wall St/Congress/Big Oil/Big Business/Military robber barrons, so the desperate collection agencies are attempting to collect unpaid debts from innocent people by terrorizing them into submission.
Word of advice. NEVER answer any calls you don't recognize or are not expecting. Use selective call rejection service if available, or switch to an Internet-based telephone service which provides comprehensive call rejection options. If rogue calls become chronic, turn off all the ringers on all of your phones except one, and set its volume to the minimum setting. If you receive a rogue letter in the mail warning you of some "collection" action against you, if you don't actually owe it, reply with a short letter stating that you don't owe it, you've never done any business with them of any kind, and you expect the collection agency to close the matter, stop harrassing you and take any bad credit marks they've caused off of your credit rating, and furthermore, that any further contact from them must in writing and signed on their official business correspondence letterhead. Send your letter to them a.s.a.p., always within thirty days, first class certified mail return receipt requested. If they refuse it and you get the letter back unopened, leave it unopened and save it in your files as evidence against them should they pursue legal action against you. If they did receive it and continue to pursue action against you, let them. The judge will throw it out of court. Warn all your friends about this rash of desperate collection agency terrorism, and how to combat it.

This is political solicitation. They pretend to be a "survey" to get around the do-not-call list. The exemptions for charities and surveys are being abused by scumbags like this.
Kiel 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
Calling to get me to vote on ballot measures on November 2.
dave 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown

Jo 2011-06-06 20:44:58 Unknown
Have gotten several call from these guys, I knew they were not legit the first time because they got my name wrong. They are a company called Net Research Services who claim to be in the business of public openion polls. After repeatedly telling them they have the wrong number, the name they keep asking for it not me, they still keep calling. I even tried yelling at one of them to take me off their list, and asked another to put me on the do not call list. Still calling. Idiots, if they keep getting my name wrong I will always know it is them even if they call from a different line.
