I had the same scam call from American Health Advantage. I've reported them to just about anyone I can report them to.

I had the same issue and almost the exact same conversation. Of course the number was 830-255-4348. He also said he was from American Health Advantage. He told me my full name and that I had applied for this dental and vision insurance in november 09, it is now March of 2010! He said they had a waiting list for applicants but that I had made it through the waiting period or something like that.  I had to tell him a few times that I had already signed up with someone else, but other than that he was fairly polite. Still...odd

So its March 25,2009 and this number is calling and hanging up like every few hours. Called back and its disconnected.

I received a call from retiree complaining about a number of calls that were trying to get her to sign up for some type of insurance.  After research, I discovered the company who may be making these calls is American Health Advantage.  If you receive any calls from this number just hang up!  Any company that resorts to these tactics to gain business should be recognized appropriately for their tactics.  Just google American Health Advantage or this phone number and you will see what is happening.

Caller, Qwest (telemarketer), calls, rings 3 times and hangs up.  No message or anything.  When the number is called back the message states that this number has been disconnected.  I only found this out by multiple searches on the internet and other means (I am a skip tracer) available to me to identify the company.  I do not have any business with Qwest.

I just got a call from this number, I didn't answer but called it back and it just rang.

I am so glad I googled this number. Someone just called me and said my application from American health saving was approved, he needs to verify info. I asked what it was for, he said a savings discount card, you filled out the application on April 24. I said that I wasn't interested. He got mad and said then why did you fill out the application? I said that I filled out the application back in april and he is just calling me now, and gets mad because I am no longer interested?? Mam, we have thousands of applications it takes time to get back to everyone. Good, now you have more time because I am no longer interested. ( I then wondered if it was something worth looking into cuz we don't have good insurance, googled the # and it brought me here. There are legitimate savings cards out there, and you can get them for free.)

Just got a call (303-595-3963) asking for my brother by first and last name, he does not even have this number ... how they crossed us is amazing as I do not give this number to anyone, it is fairly new.  Also the same call from another number (720-214-0442) asking for my brother and his wife. My Brother is out of state and we are not close so again how do they place my brother with my phone that no one has is beyond me.  I recommend telling them that the person is there and set the phone down and go wash the car or watch tv,  run the their phone bill and eventually they spend trime on a dead line and not bothering anyone else and get large phone bills for long distance calls. That could help stop these wacko's.

I got one today.  I ignored it and then googled it, and I got here.  I'll ignore it from now on, too.

Have had calls from this number with no message. Once I answered and they hung up. Finally, today I answered immediately and a woman on the other end said she was calling regarding the health benefits I inquired about through my Yahoo email account. She told me the benefit cards were all ready to send out and wanted to verify information. Clearly a scam. I never requested any benefits or information about benefits anywhere online. I kept questioning and the woman eventually hung up.

i called it back and it says it is disconected. What the hell.

I just got a call from this number as well, insisting that I asked for dental/vision insurance online which I never did.  I told him not to call back, and to take my number off his list, because I signed up with someone else.  Then he said its not insurance, that it will reduce out-of-pocket expenses.  I told him I already signed up with someone else AGAIN and he asked, well why did you request information? I said, well if I did, it was long time ago, and I got insurance elsewhere. Then he tried to explain more about the plan he was offering, and then I told him I was hanging up on him because I had told him to take my name off his list.

they lways call 4 to 5 times a day i nevr answered and now i hve them on call block hopefully it works.

Got a call today from this #.
She said she was from American Health Advantage and wanted to confirm information.
I asked what kind of scam it was and she said no scam, I had applied for a policy.
I said NOT and asked if she had a signed form before her, she replied its on her computer screen.
I just told her "If I had requested, I was no longer interested... Thank you, goodby!"

I recommend you be careful about giving them any information.

I started receiving this phone number on my cell shortly after I received a scam text about having to renew my bank info over this "secure" website.  The text was supposedly from my bank.  This scam is running rampid in the state of Wisconsin right now.  Pretty interesting that shortly after I get this scam text, I'm getting this phone number on my cell.  Apparently what happens is they try to get you to disclose your personal information, SSN#, date of birth, etc.    I have also tried to call this number back and it always tells me that the number has been disconnected.

has anyone put their number on any websites maybe? i think i might have?

Got the call at around 10am, asked for my husband. Told them he wasn't home,(stupid mistake on my part)asked if I was his wife, I said yes. Told me they were from American health Advantage and needed some info for my benefits. I asked who she was with again, she told me same as above. I told her I didn't have health ins with them, she said" It's not about your health ins, your husband requested this for your out of pocket expenses" I told her he did not and she replied, "ok, then I am just calling you and lying". I said, well I know my husband didn't request anyting, and she said she was just going to cancel my health insurance. I said whatever and hung up. Thank God my husband and I communicate and I knew this was some type of scam. Please BEWARE!!!!

First of all, I do not know anyone from Colorado.  I googled the 303 area code and I was wondering who is calling me.  The first time they called, I just ignored the phone call... but the second time they called I answered and no one answered.  So I tried googling this phone # and I found this website.  Strange. I don't think i am going to answer anymore.

Same deal for me... once on my way to work some time between 9 & 10 the other time at lunch... damnable inconvieniant. nobody know who this is?!?

Received a call from 303 595 3963 several times. I returned the call each time number disconnected. What is going on there have been other numbers in the pass. Could this be a company calling to find out who is home at that time, could it be big brother or just one messed phone system

I have repeated calls from "Denver, Co" however, the first couple of times, they dont say anything.  Then today, a women asked to talk to "!!!" (she said a name) my response was, "Who is calling", she said "??? Health ??", I said, this is "!!!", she said, "I am returning your call", I said, "who called you?", then nothing, no response.. I was not sure if she hung up or just would not speak, so I hung up.
