Everybody on this site who has been contacted by these people needs to contact the Federal Trade Commission. Their phone number is 1-877-382-4357. Guy that helped me file the report's name is Pablo, great guy. Everyone on here who is on the National Do Not Call Registry needs to call and file a complaint. Just the fact that they contacted you with you being on that Registry is ILLEGAL. They called me saying they were Coast to Coast Renewal Services saying I had a magazine subscription with them. I told them I didn't remember ever making a subscription with them and whatever it was to cancel it, ended up speaking with a supervisor that could recite my damned credit card number from memory. He said that if I didn't do what he said with whatever it was he was slinging, that he would have my credit card be charged $59 some odd dollars a month for the next 5 years! Which adds up to some $1700 give or take a bit. Anyways, after talking to the FTC and filing a complaint with Mr. Pablo stating that all the crap this guy said, did, and threatened to do was blatantly illegal and that they were not far from receiving the required number of complaints to open a formal criminal investigation against these people. He didn't say what the required number exactly was or the exact difference that needed to be exacted. So please people, contact the FTC, file these complaints against them, and lets get these people out of business before they can hurt or harass anymore people.

This # has been calling for weeks. Finally answered today and like others have stated the guys said he was calling about my magazine subscription which I have none! You could tell that this was not a business. The line was very poor- sounded like someone calling from a cell with bad reception. Told the guy to take me off of yheir call list and he acted like there was no call list. He finally said sorry to waste your time and hung up. Definitely going to report the number

Guy called and asked about "my magazine subscription." Said that customers had been complaining about not receiving issues or getting damaged ones. Then, asked if I fell into that category and said they would clear it up, if so, but they first "needed to verify some information" from me.... Red Flag.
I had recently renewed a couple issues and asked which magazine it was in reference to. He "didn't have access" to that info, but said that his "supervisor" could tell me after he collectedmy information ... Red Flag.
Asked him if he had a number I could call him back at (since I had recently renewed), and he started backpedalling. Red Flag. Blah, blah, blah ... Said they would call me again in the future....
Obvious scam. Hope someone catches these clowns.

This number called me for the last week straight I continued missing the calls, and today I had answered and the guy told me he was with "universal services" calling to see if I was happy with the magazine subscription and to make sure I was receiving my magazines. I told the little FUKER that I was aware of the scam he is trying to pull I will not verify any of his information and I would appreciate that he didn't call ever again and I would report the number if he does. He laughed at me and said I don't know what SCAM your referring to and asked me if I knew the name of his business. I told him it should be called "STUPID MFERS WHO BUG THE SH*T OUT OF ME DAILY" and he laughed again. Continued trying to get my information and telling me I told him to go FUK himself and hung up. It was pleasant

Just got a call from them asking to renew my magazine subscription. She told me she was from Coast to Coast Readers. She said there have been complaints in my area regarding tardiness of magazine delivery. I told her I was not aware of any probIems. I asked which magazines and she claimed she did not know. She told me my subscription was on automatic renewal for five years. She knew my name, Post office address and phone number. She asked me more information about myself and I refused to give any so she said she will just keep my account number and not touch my automatic reminder. I got the impression she was trying to validate a bought phone numbers list.

Got a call, no one said anything nor would hand up. I googled the number and it mentions a magazine call list.

This number is for a bogus magazine subscription company. They tell you that you are scheduled for an autorenewel subscription (which you won't recall signing up for) and when you wish to cancel they will claim to verify your account (just because they havee your name and address doesn't mean they're legit) do not give them your credit card #. If you haven't been receiving the charges then they dont have your cc info the so dont give them the chance by "verifying your c.c. #"
Horrible scam. Lots of victims.

Received my second call from this number today 6/24/2013 - 303-629-8327. Last time I told them that yes, I wanted to cancel automatic renewal of my magazine subscription. That's when they started asking personal questions that were too personal to answer and aroused my suspicion. When I insisted that my age was not necessary to subscribe and I would not provide it now, then asked which magazine, they hung up on me.

I received a call from a guy named "John" from "Coast to Coast Mag", he asked about my address and I was a hestitant/resistant & so he hung up. I called him back a few times and he would hang up in my face I actually called Coast to Coast, and this is a bogus claim and I will file another report. Scam all day long!
Funny thing is, I never answer calls from numbers that I don't know, but today I did.

This person by the name of "Tasha" called me fishing for my address and baiting me by telling me I had a magazine subscription they needed to put on a five year renewal. I told her I wanted to speak to her supervisor and she refused 6 times. Then gave me a phone number to call the company correctly 239-936-2800. It was a fake number. This person was harassing and when I attempted to call her number back she hung up on me 4 times. DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE.

They just called me and said it was about continuing automatic renewal for my magazine subscription. I actually do have automatic renewal for a magazine, but just to be safe, I asked the man to confirm which magazine I subscribe to. He said that was confidential, and he wasn't allowed to know that because he's just the customer service rep! Then he asked me my marital status. He said it was part of a survey. I said, "I refuse to answer." Again, he said it's just a survey, and in a moment, I could speak to his supervisor. I said, "how do I know you are who you say you are?" That's when he hung up on me.

Typical. No one needs to know your age or job or what credit card company you would choose, but if you fall for it and get connected to a supervisor, make sure NOT to give them your credit card number. After saying I had paid over $40/mo. for magazines numerous times and knowing I did not, I realized something fishy was going on. Same thing, hang up.

Aha! I have received a similar call from this number. I subscribe to too many magazines, for myself and as gifts for my kids. After this call, I called the subscription dept. numbers for each. They weren't calling me and they didn't need to know my most intimate secrets. This is not the site of a valid entity. Feel welcome to ask your own personal questions and wait for the click. Love it!

Wanted to talk to me about my magzine subscription. Asked which one and she asked which ones do you take? I hung up. Wish they would quit calling!!!

Phishing scam... Must be collecting data to sell. Same mag story as already told. Whoever it is best be careful as he was engaging a minor in his nonsense.

I received a call from this number, the lady said it was to cancel my automatic renewal for my magazine subscription. Ironically I just canceled a magazine subscription last month, so at first i figured this was legit. The lady gave me my address to verify, asked my age, job and marital status. She then told me she would have to transfer me to her supervisor. He asked me to verify my social or give him my credit card information to complete the cancellation. I told him I would not give him that information and he hung up on me. Definitely seemed like a scam!!
