I called the real White & Case and informed them of this scam, to which they were VERY grateful. I suggest you all take the time to call White & Case and inform them if it has happened to you; the more calls they get, the more they will want to keep their good name from being tainted and will be more apt to take legal action or file a complaint.

This number called my employer 20+ times, either giving them vague information to the person taking the msg, or hanging up (mind you, I am Military). This person also has an Indian accent. Also, keep in mind that my caller ID says the # is from Colorado.

They also left a voicemail on my cellphone saying they were Officer Rogers from Hopkins Law Firm, and that I am being sued.

When I called the same number back, they said they were Mr. Austin from White & Case Law Firm and that I was being sued for non-payment of a payday loan I never paid back for the amount of $400. I never got a payday loan, even went as far as to check my statements and called my bank and them check. When I asked if they could give me the phone number of their client, they said they didn't have one. I was either to go to court this week and pay $12,600 in lawyer/court fees or $523 today.

On a side note, I googled "White & Case Law Firm" and they DO exist, but do not have any locations in Colorado for North America. So, they are also using another company's name.

So, these people are complete BS and I am going to have SO MUCH FUN running them into the ground. I'm in a**-beating mode.

I got this call on my cell  saying they were Hopkins law firm, An officer Rogers with an accent like all the others, left a message I was in alot of trouble and to call back right away, that it was a time senstive matter. those word s rigjht there told me it was a scam like all the other callers

I just received this same call, only his name went from Garrett to Kary to Karen White in a matter of 1 1/2 minutes, and also went from being a man to a woman.  I told him I know you are scamming people, that he would not call here again and advised him I work for a government agency and there is a police sub-station ajoined to my office given all this information it would be smart of you not to harrass me ever again.  But he still tried to make threats while I was hanging up.

"officer" Michael cook called from Hopkins Law Firm from phone number 303.647.8040 and has been harassing me for over a year. He will call me 5 to 6 times a day within a half hour period. he is very rude and threatens me with jail time and that I will be arrested. he tells me he will get me fired. He uses foul language.He tells me I owe money on a payday loan with a company I have never heard of and tells me that if I send $7000 to pay it off - he will quit calling and call of the "law suit". This is a scam. If you google the phone number, this "gentlemen" has been harassing everyone. I have alerted the FBI, Colorado BBB, FTC, and the IC3. None of these companies ever responds to me or does anything. He calls once or twice a month and threatens me. heavy indian accent, very rude, foul language, has been told not to call my work multiple times- and he still does.

This firm tellls me I owe paydayloans and they want my ss number can't speak English so I can't understand them

I received several calls at work  from this number saying he is from Hopkins Law Firm..very heavy accent.  After several calls to my work my Supervisor told them to stop calling.  They did for about a month or so and now they are calling again.

I received a call from this number today. This gentleman had a strong Indian accent. He threatened me and told me if i dont pay the 500.00 fine i would have to pay 10,000+fines. He said it was cash advance and this person had all my info. I called my bank and she said if you have ever taken a payday loan out,some of those companies dont protect your info. And they could sell it. So i closed out my account and started a new one

Just got a call at my business for one of my employees. Man with thick eastern Indian accent asking for an employee. Said he was with "Weston Law Firm"  at 303-647-8040 as best I could understand, could have been Hopkins. When I questioned him what it was about he hung up......

I received a message today on my cell phone and my work phone from #303-647-8040.  Message from some "Officer Alex Cruz" message said "if you don't call me back I can't help you and legal action will be taken on you."  So of course I called back some guy said his name was Officer Mike Walter from Hopkins Law firm located in Colorado.  He goes on the say Cash Advance contacted Hopkins Law firm because I didn't pay back some loan that I have never received.  So when I started questioning him "What is the number to Cash Advance and How much did I receive?" He could not answer any of my questions and would not transfer me to a manager.  That's when I relized it was a bunch of cramp.  I wanted to post this number so people can beware of this number as well.

Recieved a call at work, supervisor told them to call my cell phone, which they did not have.  Richard Clay was his name, he said he was a Paralegal with Hopkins Law Firm.  He said that there was a suit filed against me.  So not only did they call my work, they gave out personal information to my supervisor.

I have received numerous phone calls from this number at my job Told them it is illegal in the state of
New York to call someone at work if the person has told them not to call the work number He
identified himself as an Officer of the Criminal Law Dept. There is no such place. I referred him to my
supervisor who told him to stop the harassing calls. He said he will call 1000 times if necessary

I too just received a call from a Hopkins Law Firm and from a Mr. Denzel Anderson.  They called me at work.  I asked them to please call me on my cell phone later and when the gentlemen with a very thick accent started telling me that I was going to jail for not paying back a payday loan, I told them that I could not discuss personal matters at work.  When they called my cell phone demanding that I pay $638 dollars now or $9000 in court fees, I asked them to call my attorney.  The man on the phone started swearing and calling me names and hung up on me.  He then called my place of employment again.  I called the police and filed a harrassment complant.

i just got the phone call too. its a "hopkins law firm". theyve hung up on me, threatened me on the phone and in voicemails. saying i have a court date in 2 days and i have to pay a 10,000$+ fine.
i called my bank about them because some how they got my account information, and put a hold on all the funds they wanted to take out.
i would advise you to do the same.
