I have been getting phone calls too. It started first with emails, I spammed them out. Now it's these annoying phone calls. This Allen Taylor gives me a case ref # and then hands the phone to some other guy, I was half sleep still so I didn't get his name. Now this guy is rude, on top of being rude he has a heavy accent that makes it hard to understand him. He said I took out a payday load for $325 (untrue) and he wanted to verify the last 4 of my social, I refused, (mainly because of his brasiveness). I told him I need the location of the payday load store, he didn't have it. I asked for the date it was drawn on, he didn't know. So I get sassy and ask, well what do you know? He tells me mt email address, employer, my home address & I something else. I replied sorry, I don't work there anymore, and I just moved on the 1st, and I know use gmail. This dude then tells me, well this call is being traced and an officer will be to your home shortly. I said great! Saves me a trip in the snow to file a report on you! Next he yells and I couldnt make out all his words, but I think he said I couldn't do that. I laughed out loud, he hung up. In saying all that, after playing the conversation over in my mind, I remember this abrasive, rude guy! They had the same routine except this time they wanted my info so they could give me a grant for school. Yes I did give them some info, but they wanted me to western union them like $200 within the hour. I said ok, did as quick google search and found out they were scammers! I quick call my bank, everything was fine, I have ID protection it's awesome! So I call the number back to these guys only to give them a piece of my mind and this is where I remember the rude one from. He went toe to toe with me saying he was with the government and he assures me this is legal. It ended the same way, him yelling and then hanging up. Always ask for info in print.

This morning I received a call at work from the phone number (303) 647-8040 by someone claiming to be from a Hopkins Law Firm.  He had a heavy Indian accent and proceeded to tell me I was being investigated for financial fraud allegations that were filed against me.  He told me these criminal acts that I was accused of were gravely serious and that a warrant had been placed for my arrest.  THAT IS NOT THE SCARY PART.  The phone was then given to a man named Frank Jordan, who also spoke with a heavy Indian accent.   He had a very abrasive demeanor to the way he communicated and told me to listen and not interrupt for any reason.  He then proceeded to tell me my full name (including my middle name), my address, my date of birth, my social security number, and my banking information.  I was then told some sort of reference number that I am unsure what is in regards to.  By this time, I had been on the phonefor at least 10 minutes, and my boss told me to place the call on hold.  As soon as I asked him to hold on for a moment, Frank Jordan replied by hanging up on me and ending our conversation.  I just contacted the police department and am currently waiting for an officer to call back.

This is a fraud number and they're getting personal info.fraud certainly with the same fraud prevention line

i received a call from an asian/oriental with a very thick accent trying to frighten me about getting a payday loan. once i confronted him about what I was reading on the internet. he just hung up.

FRIDAY MORNING/AFTERNOON I GOT A CALL FROM A MAN NAMED FRANK JORDAN HE SAID HIS NAME WAS LIKE THE BASKETBALL PLAYER, SAIDING THAT I OWED 420 MAYBE MORE AND THAT IF I FAX HIM MY INFO HE WILL HOLD THIS MATTER  UNTIL I PAY.. THEN 5 MINS LATER I GOT A CALLED FROM A NEAL JOHNSON STATING THE SAME THING. TALKING ABOUT I NEED A PRE PAID WALMART CARD IN ODER TO PAY THIS LOAN.. SO MY QUESTION TO ANYONE IS WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS? PLEASE HELP

This is a fraud. Do not send any money. If you have, make a police report to your local law enforcement. You can also make a report of phone harassement.

These people are tied to cell phone companies and cash checking places, which are all directly tied to our Government.  These people are getting paid a high dollar to scam Americans out of their hard earned money because Government knows they can and are directly involved with cell phone companies and check cashing loans.  These people call you and tell you that you have a warrant out of a county that requires you to have to drive there to check.  They all either sound Indiana I have heard and/or Iraqian.  They state the Law Firm, which are the same people, and they call and tell you to settle it and they keep calling and harassing you.  I assure you they are fake!!!  Talk to them and tell them you support "The Candy Cause" and you will be cussed out and keep calling them back because as long as their lines are tied up they can't do this to anyone else.  These people will not stop as they are being paid high dollar to call us and run a scam for profit directly under our noses.  Don't let these scammers win!!!  I support the CANDY CAUSE.  They have admitted to this and have told me how big this is and how much they make at doing this.  After talking with them, I had Sprint my cell phone provider at the time call to negotiate an offer.  I have since been threatened by these people that I have no clue how big this operation is and how I am one person and can disappear.  I am making a difference and trust me when they call say this to them and they will get nasty and curse and hang up and won't take your calls and you are stopping their business by repeatedly calling their lines.  We did it for almost a week and got a lot of information out of them.

I have gotten several calls from a guy who said he was Allen Taylor from the financial fraud dept.  He had like a spanish accent that was hard to understand.  He said that I owed over $4000 but if I wanted to settle out of court that I could pay $1493 and that I would need to give him my bank card number.  I said that I did not give this information out over the phone and he said that he was blocking my social security number and sending his officers to my home and file papers on my for court.  Then he hung up.

they are telling my that i owe them lots of money!!!! I called the police, and they told me it was a scam!!!! They calll off of different numbers, saying they are different people, still trying to get money!

I have received numerous calls from an officer allen taylor from the financial  fraud investigations dept. stating that I need to call back immediately because there is a lawsuit in my name and that its very serious and time sensitive.  Well I called back and I said this is "my name" and I received a message and I want to know what this is about and all that this foreign person would say was "are you returning the call?"  I repeatedly said I received a message blah blah and I want to know what this is about!  He hung up on me!  Then a few minutes later he called my work # and left the same exact message and I mean word for word!  My advice, if you answer when these idiots call just say they have the wrong # and NEVER put your info online again!!!  From what I have read this is happening because of those payday loans so don't do it or anything else that asks for pertinent info and then keeps redirecting you to different sites and asks for your info again!  It really sucks that there are people like this who have nothing better to do!!!

Same MO as the 508 people.....called my cell phone left a message - serious issues....Only this one was "officer Williams" from .....fraud investigation....call us back - do not try to disregard this message....matter of serious consequences.....Then, they called my work - I told them there is no such person there anymore...then when I got home there was a messgae on the home vm for the person who used to have the phone number - no longer asking for me - but the party that shows up on the phone #......same verbage as my cell phone message....Not bothering to call them back....shows up as unknown on my cell - and I've had 3 more calls from Unknown today....

My cousin received the same call from the number 2097903740 and that she was going to face charges and that it was a time sensitive manner, the same as you. This guy sounds like he is from overseas with an Indian accent type. Keeps calling and calling, saying that money that is owed is outrageous. I am pretty sure it is a massive scam.

The same thing happened to me, the heavy accented guy, told me my social, drivers liscense #, where i work, my b-day, address, everything! Dont admit it is you and dont tell them that any of the info is right! It is a scam and they will not stop!

I keep getting calls from Neil Johnson from this number stating I have a warrant for some pay day loan and that my social is being sued. They are using tackets with your information to confirm your information such as. They will tell you the call is being recorded and to verify your social(they will say your number to you and wait on you to confirm)Hang up hang up-

Someone named "Neal Johnson", very thick accent, said I was going face severe consquences if I do not respond and return their call and that it was a time sensitive manner. I also got calls today from "Nicole Lawernce" from 209-790-3740 and "Mike Johnson" from 714-243-8315 all saying the same thing.

sadly this so called investigator is relentless he uses several names such as robert butler paul brown frank johnson john smith frank jordan and on and on and on he becomes verbally  abusive when you dont give him your information. get your number changed, your cell changed and be a step ahead and close your bank account. its a massive scam and no you cannot be arrested over consumer debts such as payday loans and such. this guy is a scammer so rest well and be assured he can not arrest you because he is a fraud, but do make a police report let them be aware.

Oriental people keep calling me from the number 303-647-8137 adn they tell me they are from Hopkins Lawfirm and they use obscene words.  One has told me F*** you and one has told me you woman are are the same and on and on that I can't understand them.  I ask if someone who speaks english can call me and they keep cussing at me.  I looked up Hopkins Lawfirm, but they are in California and other states.

It was 3 weeks ago on a Sunday evening, that I received a phone call from this so called Frank Jordan. My cellphone started ringing and I answered it, that was the biggest mistake. This man, Frank Jordan knew everything about me. I mean everything. I really believed him, so I sent him $100.00. He scared me so bad, telling me that he was from Financial Fraud Investigation and that I had a warrant out and the police was coming to my job to arrest me. Frank Jordan constantly calls my cellphone and job constantly cursing everybody out such as Security and anybody that answers the company's phone. He has a very deep, heavy accent and demanding. How do I get rid of him? It's going on 4 weeks now. Help me ! How and where did he get my info?
