Awwwww, she called and said I was rude and that she was going to tell my boss. Go for it, IF you can get through to him:). How on earth would they EVER sell anything because they either hang up on me or are griping at me. This sort of thing seems to go around year round with different names and numbers, what are they gaining?

Called and had myself taken off the list. Told them they should try googling their own number to see the amount of negative attention they are receiving.  It's bad for business!

I moved my business and had to change my number, and since DAY ONE this weird company keeps calling me at least once a day, never leave a message if not answered, or when I pick up the phone and try talking, or lately just pick up and stay silent --- complete silence on the other side, till they hang up... This morning THREE TIMES IN A ROW. I keep silent, they are silent, then hang up.

Forth time I pick it up and say "what the f*** is going on here, who the f*** are you?" -- than a woman is very politely identifying herself as a company selling pens or something. I tell her to stop annoying me or I will file a complaint with the FBI and the FCC, she hangs up on me....

There's another guy who's called me twice already trying to sell me the same product, starting with a laugh, he's all so proud of himself and his jokes, having a good time. I tell him no thanks and hang up.

Maybe we should all order some pens and get them off our backs?.........................

*sigh* OKAY! So, first off the DNC List does Not apply to businesses. You business owners should know this by now. Secondly, the "a**hole" on the other line is a desperate PERSON trying to pay renr (we werent all born with a silver spoon up our butt). Yes, I went to high school, college and am working on my masters but the economy became HORRIBLE and I needed rent. Before you cuss out someone trying to do their job (and I was always polite, but business owners are way worse than the occasional insult. Try being called a c*nt everyday by people who dont know you) think about a college student with poor parents struggling to make a better life. YES, it is a horible company but I was not that company. Employees cannot take you off the list and managment doesnt give a sh*t. Block the number. And please dont be aweful to people you dont know. The only reason they're rude is because of constant insults. Anyone would get edgy.

I just had almost the same thing happen to me. She ask for my boss and I told her he was out of the office and asked to take a message. She told me no message and started to hang up. I told her that in order to speak with him she had to go through me. She told me she would just call his cell or his home. I told her he wouldn't answer. She got rude and told me that it was her right to leave a message or not and she would just have to take it up with my boss. I told her to do that and I hung up.

No, these are not desperate people trying to pay their rent, these are pathetic A**HOLES who need to go F*CK right off. I have worked for two call centers, and yes, it can be a very difficult job BUT I never hung up on people or was rude to them or when they answered just sit there and not say anything. And any time I called someone and they asked that they no longer be contacted I took them off of our calling list and politely told them I was sorry to disturb them and to have a nice day. These people have been calling multiple times a day every single day and it is complete BULLSH*T. The people who work for my company are the ones who are working hard trying to provide for our families and our customers are hardworking people trying to provide for their families and these D*CKHEADS waste our time and our customers' time.

Call MULTIPLE times a day and either hang up or ask for owner and then hang up without another word if I tell them owner isn't available or if I ask what the call is in reference to.

Called the 303-650-5555. It went through. Been getting a daily call from them for weeks. Told them to quit calling me, or I'd report to the PUC (in my state) and the FCC. Said they should google the phone number to see how much they are pissing people off.

Was her name Trish by any chance, certainly sounds like the same rude person I have to put up with on a regular basis.
Next time she calls, I will slam the phone down.

303-771-1143 came up on Verizon caller ID on my biz phone as "Colorado".

Telemarketer said he was from Seattle Specialties and then asked for owner by name but refused to state nature of business. Telemarketer became EXTREMELY verbally abusive because I refused to follow his command. Threatened to "shut down" my business and to report ME to the FCC because I swore at hime over the phone.

I dialed *57 after the call and contacted Verizon Illegal Call Desk at 877-872-2348. They put me through directly to the FTC who took all of the complaint details. FTC advised everyone should report to them and meanwhile just ignore or hang-up on telemarketer. Do not engage.

This stupid caller calls daily.  First time they called it was a dumb guy and this is what he said:

"Hey uh can I speak to the owner...oh uh wait, is this a business? what kind of business is it?"

Me: "May I ask who's calling?"

Him: "Well what do you guys do there anyways? what is this a lawyer or something like that?'

Me: "Who wants to know?"

Him: "So you're not going to tell me what kind of business this is?"

Me: "If you tell me who wants to know!"

Him: "What is it some big secret or something? Are you guys some government agency doing top secret work?"

Me: "Well, you're not speaking to anyone unless I know who you are so you can just forget it."

Him: "hahahahahahahahaha..." click.

Since then they have been calling back 2-3 times per day.  I am interested to know...has anyone who called them actually got taken off the list?

Lapslappers keep calling every freaking day! I reported the to Do Not Call. Doubt anything will happen

Same as those listed. No one was on the line when I answered the call. I have no idea why they are calling or who they are. I am registered with my business line with the "Do Not Call List".

THEY CALLED BACK!!!  He asked for the owner by name.  I pretended to be the boss.  He said his name is Steve with Seattle Specialties and they just moved to Denver.  They have a large supply of retractable pens and wanted to give me a deal.  I asked if he had a website so I could see the pens.  He said no but I could GOOGLE them.  After letting him give his "speech", I told him to take me off the list and never to call here again.  He was very polite and said he would try to see that happen.

Phone Number Report: Calls several times a day, asking for owner of business, then rudely hangs up. Sometimes calls and when I pick up he hangs up before I say anything. Tried to call the number back and it's no longer in service, yet he continuously calls from it, how does that work???? Decided to give him the same respect the next time he calls with a major hang up from me..........

Googled the company and found their contact info.  They hide behind bogus caller id info, but I found their real info.  :-)

A woman called from this number, insisted on speaking with the "owner".  I informed her that I was one of the owners cut she would not give me any info except that she does all of the printing for the owner naming my business partner by name.  She was rude and demanded to know when the "owner" would be in.  I told her she would have to speak with me to shich she said that I was rude.....I hung up.  She called back and made a nasty, snide remark and hung up.  
If you see this, lady, DO NOT CALL BACK... We will NOT place an order with you or the company you say you are with.

We opened Saturday for business.  We have now received 3 - 5 calls daily from this number with no one there.  I just registered us with the no call list, so I will report them immediately to the FTC next time they call.

I don't understand how this is a sales team.  They're too rude to establish a rapport with the client.  A guy called, asked for the owner, I said--this is Michael and he hung right up.

Just started a business on Saturday- this phone number 303-771-1143 started calling Saturday NON STOP. They are rude, they laugh and hang up on you. Called the ANNOYANCE BUREAU out of Portland, Maine and the gentleman, (Larry) helped me to block the number. ANYONE who gets these calls here is what you do:  ANSWER the phone then once you know its them hang up. IMMEDIATLY hit *57 on your key pad. FOLLOW the diretions on the teleprompt and it will take you directly to Larry.

This person has been calling my house phone for weeks, they never answer only heavy breathing.
