They began harrassing me just after I subscribed to a magazine through Publishers Clearing House.

This number called me at 7:40 PM on my personal and unlisted cell phone number.  No message was left.  My caller ID just displayed the number.  There was not any display name.

Aspen called me June 15, 2014.  They probably wanted to wish me "Happy Father's Day."  But, since I didn't answer, they might have changed their mind and not left a greeting.  :-(

Called at 9pm to claim they were with the Idaho State Board of Education and looking to speak with Ethan.  I said "there's no Ethan at this number" and she asked me if his parents were available.  Yeah, definitely trippy so I called back to ask what the hell was State Board of Education calling someone at 9pm for and find out it is all bs.

I too get many calls from 303-786-9500.  I have asked them repeatedly to STOP calling me.  First they call and then hang up (multiple times) and then you call back and get a recording that they do not have to comply with do not call lists.  I reported the to the FCC tonight.  What a s***-ball place.  Would never do business, or work, for companies like this.

maybe you work for them.....hope they call you hundreds of times...especially on weekends...waking you up....when people work shift work...something that you probably dont do it is a BIG DEAL.....

Another avenue is to file a complaint on Better Business web site. There you will see a list of complaints against this Aspen Media. They claim that they are doing research and a survey, so they do not have to comply with Do Not Call List. Each complaint they had the same response. Its too bad they don't list the companies they work for so a list could be formed and published phone numbers to complain about their service. I would never buy a thing this company is trying to sell. Everyone who receives these telemarketer calls should file a complaint with Better Business, make them waste their time answering complaints. Its nothing but a scammer in my opinion.

Really????? I would never buy a thing from a scam outfit who makes it their mission to call everyday multiple times....Remember Marie its my phone and I pay the bill....not some scam outfit....wish the people who have post could call you all the time and waste your time....What a joke of answer

Your are right you do not have to talk to them, but they do have some power they can report the debt to the credit bureau which will hurt your credit rating.

I subscribed to a loyalty card at ameristar casino in blackhawk co, and started receiving these calls.    It might be a coincidence.  But I think not.  Don't give those people your number.

I went out for a couple of hours this evening and when I returned home saw two calls from this number in my Caller ID list (land line).   Considering the hundreds or complaints about this number/company on multiple reporting sites, it is not something I want to deal with so I blocked the number using the phone company's call blocking feature.   So, now they will get a recording telling them that the called party (me) has blocked their number -- I doubt that they will take the hint that their calls are not wanted,   I don't have a business, nor a trade, nor any magazine subscriptions and therefore can't even guess what deception and irritation they had in store for me.  

Why the hell are they calling at 8:15am? They aren't supposed to start until 9am. Not everyone is up for an early job! That being said, I am so tired of political calls and research calls being exempt from telemarketing rules. I work from home and they disrupt my day and I can't make them stop! Since they woke me up and I didn't get to the phone in time, I'm assuming that's why they called me based on everyone's comments. This needs to stop.

I have started picking up the call, but having it muted from my end.  That way I can hear them, but they can't hear me as I continue working.  I've had it with these people.

MARVIN....I have TOLD you not to call here again.  I have TOLD your fellow minions we are NOT INTERESTED in your free issues of magazines that you will later call and upsell into a paying subscription.  We get the local newspaper, so we have enough puppy piddle paper to last a long time.  A legitimate company would not continue to harass people!  

Yep. Aspen Media. I hadn't gotten this one in quite a number of months (I never pick it up, and they never leave a vm). But now they're back. I hate telemarketers with the fiery passion of 10,000 suns.

Ye gawds. They're back again. Hadn't had this one in a while, but they called again this morning. Ughnnn!

Call once or twice a week asking for Purchasing Manager. I know he doesn't want to bothered by these calls (I had asked them in the past to please remove our company phone number from their list-to no avail) so I send the call straight to his voice mail.    

Someone continually calls from this number and asks for Duane, or Duane Piper.  I tell them they have the wrong number and they ask what my number is.  Odd.

Someone called me from here just now.  I answered, they asked to speak to ME, I said I was me and then they said "Hello" again and then hung up. Duh!

BBB is a joke.  You can BUY whatever letter grade you want.  Apparently, they are keeping their payments up to still be at a "B" with all those complaints.  

Aspen Media called here AGAIN.  They want to send us a "free TRIAL subscription" of our trade magazine.  They have been told REPEATEDLY we are not interested.  Calling once or twice a week and tying up one of my operators who has to argue with them.  Aspen Media is not on the list of people who get put thru to anyone.  And, with  these tactics, they never will!  No matter how they spin it, they are still PITA telemarketers!  

Aspen Media and Marketing.  Caller ID says ASPEN MED MAR.  Gee, it's a call from Colorado, perhaps they're giving me free MEDical MARijuana!

These people are low-life scum.  

I've blocked their number.

I have received seven calls from them this morning, in the past two hours. SEVEN calls. I DON'T WANT YOUR STUPID MAGAZINE AND NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER. I receive multiple calls from them everyday. I work at a business as the receptionist. It's driving me crazy!!!! It's to the point where whenever I see the number come up I just hang up on them. They won't take no for an answer.

Thanks for the detailed info for dealing with these soliciting calls. I will make good use of it!
