Just received a call from this number - a man said he was from Microsoft and wanted details of the person responsible for the computer at this address.  When I asked to verify he was from Microsoft by sending me an email from a Microsoft.com email address he hung up.

I was called by an Indian guy asking me if I want to buy soap made of natural ingredients! He said his company?s called BT something...

Did it work? It hasn't yet for me when I did it!

I have tried to call this number back and then it says if you want this number to stop calling you put in your number, I did that and still get harassing phone calls up to about 20 a day with no person to talk to just hangups. I am sick of this!

I don't trust any of this. They will not get any of my  information. "Get a life."

oh god can some one stop this 3 to 5 time a day .oh and thay are so nice not to call on sunday it s funny i dont have a chase bank card or open account with the bank.and other numbers are  210-241-2345 and 304-250-4618 and 800-273-6816 can this be STOP!

I called it back and it gave me an option to not get anymore calls from them

I have a throw away cell. I have never given this number to anyone other than 3 family members. No company I do business with has my number. So for this number to be calling me means that they are randomly dialing numbers. I have used this phone for over 11 years so the calls are not for the person previously at this number.

It is bothersome. And while they tell you that it will take a week before your number is removed, in actuality, it can take up to 30 days before your number is scrubbed from the bucket.  The other thing is, if it is a company calling on behalf of a current credit card you have, and they want to try to sell you OH say, Wallet Protection- because you are an existing customer of that company they do not have to take your number off of their list, because you are already a customer.

I did some telemarketing in the past. We never did automated calls, even if the dial er was on a mainframe computer. There were standards that the FCC held us to, and to not meet those standards was to face huge fines and eventual shut down of the calling center.

What is really bothering me, is that when they actually leave a message, it is for someone I have never known in my life, I think it is a Creditor or Bill Collector. What makes me mad is that as these calls are automated, you can't say to someone Take this number off your call list.

Well if this is from chase they are barking up the wrong tree. I do not have, and never will hold a Chase Card. And yes, 3- 5 calls daily except Sunays.

This number calls at least 2 to 3 times a day.  Ive never answered.  If I call the number back, I get a recording.  "Thank you for calling.  We recently contacted you regarding a telemarketing offer.  If you would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1 now."  I press 1 and it asks me for my 10 digit phone number after the tone.  It then tells me that it will take 48 hours to process my request.  That was a week ago and I still get the calls.
I am getting very irritated.  I am adding them to my blocked caller list.

They call to get their calls made in their time limit to get paid, they dont care if you answer or not. They just want to get paid and they think you cant trace them and that the calls are Anonymous.SO they dont care if they harrass you or not.
If any of you want to band together and do a trace on the calls, then you can take action aginst them and send a message to At&t and anyone else who is tracking and selling your number on a list these people buy for their telemarketing businesses.  

one more rant---sites like this one we are posting on can do more to help stop this, but they are owned and maintained by the company's who bought your number in the first place.

These calls are a scam. So, answer, go along with them for a bit then start using the most vulgar words you can think of.  Tell them to go f==k themselves, eat s==t, anything and keep it up.  Maybe they will drop you.

I get a call at least once a day asking for someone that I know. The person they ask for actually has the same last name as me, but anyone we know. We keep telling them they have the wrong number. They keep calling anyway.

Calls 2-3 times a day. I answer and begin hitting the star button until they hang up.

This number has been calling my house at least 2 times a day. Tonight I answered their call. A man with a very pronounced Indian accent asked for me by my last name. I said it was me. He then asked me if I had diabetes. I said "I do not think so". He asked if anyone else in my household has diabetes. I said no. He then mumbled some numbers in his very thick accent and hung up. I should not have wasted my breath answering the phone. This was absolutely the strangest call I have ever had. What is up with these people?

4-5 calls per day.  If you answer, they are calling for Chase.  It's a call that always follows calls from Chase Credit cards (which I owe) These are computer generated calls just to harrass.  They use other numbers as a decoy.  
Another one is from Nebraska and Cotton, Utah.  Chase is fraudulent doing this and I am putting in my complaint under Fair Credit report. I will work out bills with chase (Antonio, TX and Chase USA (Elgin, IL & Fla), the way I want to.

calls three times a day

I get a call from this number once to twice a day with no one responding when I answer or no message left.  Very annoying.  How do I get it to stop........

I get a call from this number at least once a day and they won't leave a message. How do I stop this from happening?

The company is from West Virginia.
