I recieved a call from this number today when i was at work. I didnt pick it  up since I didnt know the number (and because I was working and im not allowed to answer my cell). I have a verizon cell phone and I live in NY.

They call me about every two to three weeks.  I tried the remove me.  If you get through they are all excited to talk to you about your car warranty. But when you tell them no. They hang up.

I also got a call from this number today 7/29/08 at 2:24pm...I didn't answer.

Received call from this number on my cell and all i got was dead air..no sales pitch!! I called the number back and was told line was disconnected, i then called the number again from a different phone and got through to a Shirley Vernon who told me that here internet service shadow calls for some reason when  she checks her e-mail. Don't know if anyone has had the same experience?

Got a call from this number half an hour ago.  I called back and got "the number is disconnected"

this number calls my cell phone all day long don't own a car YET my warrranty is expiring?? Requuests to stop calling are totally ignored, killing me on my cell minutes...............

I just got a call from this number and when I answered it was a recording offering me a satellite TV system or something. I hung up.

i rec'd a call from this number.  it showed as shirley vernon.  when i called it back, it was disconnected.  it called me a little over an hour ago. thanks so much.

I missed a call from this number at 3:50 today.  The number showing up on caller ID is actually disconnected.  The actual phone number belongs to Citizens Communications Company of West Virginia.  I'm not sure there is anything that can be done about the spoofing using that number.

More fun for you guys: I just talked to the FCC and filed a complaint. The case # is 08-T00210028. I also gave them the information for this thread for reference.

If anybody else would like to lodge a complaint with the FCC, call 1-888-CALL-FCC. If it seems like the option messages are interminable, just hit zero and you'll end up with a representative.

Hi my name is Chris i've been recieving about 23 calls in about a 2 day period from cell phones but when i called them back they told me they never called my house so im in the process of a investigation if you have had calls that you dont know and or called them back please call you providers this is a scam or something since i had to explain to alot of people who i called back to them that their cell number called my house so i urge you to contact people to tell them watch out for these people they are getting peoples numbers and calling people all over the plce for example i live in Canada and i recieved like 23 phone calls in 2 days.

I received a phone call from this infamous telephone number on 7/28/08 at 7:23 pm.  By the time I got to my cell phone, the call was disconnected.  When I attempted to call the number back, I also received the recorded message that this number had been disconnected or was no longer in service.
I had assumed in the beginning that this was a legitimate number since "304-324-####" phone numbers are from Bluefield WV which is a town approx. 30 mins. from me and that I work in and know people from.
But now I know the real story to this!

A Florida automotive company has agreed to stop calling Indiana consumers whose phone numbers are registered on the state’s Do Not Call list. Indiana alleges that the Florida business made illegal calls to Indiana residents from September 2007 to February 2008 in attempts to sell automotive maintenance plans and promising gifts that included free oil changes.

The Indiana Attorney General’s office received at least 87 complaints against the company for calls made to residents on the state DNC list.

I just received this call on my cell phone today, July 29. 2008...I didn't ansanswer and there was no message left.

I got a call about 5 minutes ago, same thing, weird that people are almost posting realtime. Talks in a mixed up voice and says "car warranty up or something", dial "1" etc.

Actually went to my old phone, I had a voice mail recorded with a new number and bounced to this one, is it real people doing this scam, I am i on this list now to get multiple calls :(

yep i get about 2 or 3 a week from these do***ebags, 3043248040, I dont use skype so i'm not sure how they got my number, I am guessing craigslist since I actually gave a couple of people on there my number but they never showed for the transaction

Call came 7/29 12:36PM PST The male caller said his name was Alvin and this was to renew a car warranty.  He would not tell me the name of the company he represents.  He told me my car warranty was past due and I couldn't drive w/out it.  I asked him if he was going to GIVE me a new car since neither of my cars were still under any warranty. I asked for a supervisor, he would not give me a supervisor and, supposedly, was putting me on their "do not call" list.  His tactic was the same as a female calling from 205-556-6922 tonight (7/30) at 6:20PM PST

i keep getting calls from these JERK OFFS. This s**t needs to stop. When they call me again im going to tell them that they are on three way with my lawer, then i have him say that we are coming after there a**es. lol
