I got this same scam call . Came home from work and a message was left on my phone taking about my SS# was under investigation for fraud. Call back and no answer . I waited until the morning and call and got a foreign accent speaking man(couldnt understand him) he told me I was going to jail  for 9 months and 90 days exactly. I asked for info he then said If I could take care of this with my credit card in the amount of 1393.59. then I wouldnt get sued and go to jail. I knew I hadnt gotten any loan so I was sure I was getting scammed I kept talking to him as if I was distressed and he gave me some info on where they were located,another number to call them back at,and the other false names they were using. I got alot of info to tell the FBI when I called. This is a scarm so be careful.

I received the same type of call for a lady names Gina White. I asked if they can provide me with any type of document stating what is going on and if it was a serious matter like this why wasnt i notified by mail. she couldnt answer it at all other than we have tried emailing you and stated that if i dont take care of this matter by monday that they will show up to my work and arrest me for who knows what the hell for. she stated i committed some type of frud and that im going to jail for 9 months and to think about it when im behind bars. this is a huge scam. she stated we've never tried to contact you before that this was the first time, and I told her bu***hit you guys have called me a number of times and its all the same. FAKE.SCAM. WASTE OF TIME

These a**holes called my phone four times in a row. The first two times they wouldn't say anything. I heard nothing but air so I hung up. The next time they called back, they blocked their number. I have privacy manager so I was able to block the call. They then called back without blocking the number and this time a male spoke when I answered the phone. The guy was of Middle Eastern decent. He asked for me by my name. I wouldn't verify it and asked him what he wanted. He told me he was with law enforcement. I asked him which department. He told me he was calling about a payday loan in which I failed to payback. I told him he was lying that I didn't have a payday loan and that I was recording the phone call and would send it to the FBI. He immediately hung up.

Now I'm going to have to continuously check my accounts, credit reports, and etc. I have no idea how he got my name and number or wht other informaton he has about me.

Same thing is happening with me. Saying there is a lawsuit against me in my state from a unpaid loan one year ago. I asked for proof and he said something that i didn't understand and hung up. I'm positive i don't have any unpaid loans too.

Caller ID reads Kim Bondaries. Calling multiple times daily claiming to be from ??? Resolution Center, middle eastern accent, name of James Alton, call back number (863)438-1785. Says my name an SS# are under investigation. Also received calls from the call back number, same fraudulent claims. Say I owe money for a defaulted payday loan. This loan does not exist, when pressed to provide proof, they will not mail anything to me, why? Because if they did they would be committing the fraud, Mail Fraud. Do not answer the calls, block numbers if possible. Report the numbers to Federal Trade Commission. DO NOT confirm any information or agree to pay them anthing. THIS IS A SCAM

803-402-4056 - this is a new number that just started calling me yesterday...same script, heavy eastern accent, with very American names.  I have been dealing with them since December 2009.  Luckily, I had my home phone # changed and it is unlisted.  They call my work # and I am fortunate that I do not have to answer my phone and can let these go into voice mail.  They are scum of the earth subhumans.   I do not call them back.  They call me every 6-8 weeks with different numbers.  They pitiful and make me sick.  I hope what they have done to us (Americans) is done to the 100x over.

this # used to call for a different employee who works a different shift than i do, he'd call everyday and as a receptionist, i would just take his name and number from a supposedly law division. american name of kevin black and heavy accent. he started asking me personal questions and now everytime he calls for this other employee he'll ask for me as well... creepy huh! now everytime he calls i answer saying "___ is not here, i already told you" he'll tell me he knows and that he just called to say hi and how i was doing. he even asks what time i'm off work and gets mad when i don't answer phone and demands to  my fellow teammates he wants to speak with me, when i finally do get his call he'll just say he's doing fine and ask me how i'm doing and hang up. this happens atleast 10x a day. and to top it off he calls from a million different area codes but this 305 area code is the main one, i really hope that all information he has of me is my name and nothing else. i did prank call his number and used a made name and made up a phonenumber and supposedly the dumb b***h who answered was able to pull up my file, i told her i misssed a call from this number and was just returning it and she told me my ssn was under investigation.... when i asked her to tell my ssn she freaked out and told me she cannot help me and hung up on me... also sounded like a cell phone and at a restaurant or something.

ok here's what you do. wait for them to mention that they're gonna sick the cops/sheriff on you or arrest you. let them know that you know that it's illegal to arrest you for financial collection, and they should immediately hang up.
