They are calling me about Platinum Credit card. It's one of those - You pay $150 upfront we'll give you $5K credit and a $50 monthly fee, etc. Mostly merchandising credit. I told him I wasn't interested and take me off their damn call list.

Called Today At 5:17PM Asked to be taken off their call list. Hope they do it.

I have received a call from this number as well just started this morning at like 8:01 and I have received 7 calls from them in the last 3 hours.  I have tried to call back and get that recording saying this number is no longer in service and when I got it I thought the recording it's self sounded strange not the norm recording you get when you do reach a number no longer in service.  I don't know what the heck they want they don't leave messages.  I think next call I will answer I wish they'd stop bothering me!!! Any ideas how to get them to stop or will they just give up and go away?

They have called me 7 times today.  I decided to call back and they have an obviously faked "this number is no longer in service" message.  It sounds like a guy from Brooklyn with a speech impediment.  What a bunch of dicks!

My caller ID had this number, 305-274-3470, so I let it go to voice mail.  No message was left, so I checked on line and it appears to be some sort of scam.  How can we stop these calls?

***HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO*** First, when I entered *67 first to block my phone number as Yates suggested and called "Great Atlantic Warranty, 6413 Congress Avenue, Suite 250, Boca Raton, FL 33487, 1-888-898-8778", they identified themselves as The Warranty Service Center. Again, I was put on permanent hold.
So, knowing that they already had my phone number, I called back without #67. A recording told me to hold for Customer Service. A live person got on. I asked her nicely to put my phone number on the Do Not Call List. She asked for my number. Then a second person picked up the line anonymously. I told her my phone number. She said that it would take a few days to take effect and that other companies might call me (probably using the same number). Here's the kicker. I told her that if anyone else called me, I would do this, and I blew a whistle into the phone. IF YOU BLOW A WHISTLE INTO THE EAR OF THE LIVE CALLER, THEY MIGHT STOP CALLING YOU.

Several scammers are probably using this phone number, in every case to get credit card numbers.

I'm thinking about contacting the state's attorney's office for Boca Raton to file a complaint.  You can do the same.

This number keeps calling me over and over telling me that I am driving a stolen car. It has to be a trick of some sort.

I get this number quite often!! This is just one of many!! I dont know how to make them stop! No matter what you do theres to many numbers to keep up with or get taken off the do not call list!!
 One thing I have heard about some of these scams to get your info>>we had a flyer sent out in our town about people in PRISON getting info to dial out at our expense!!! DO NOT FALL FOR ANY OF IT!! (its kinda like a middle man of phone numbers)
Anyways I am not sure if that is what this is but I just wish all these numbers would stop!!
 We pay all this money for home phones and cell phones and they call both>>even on a sunday night past 9p.m.!!!! A few times on Holidays!!

This call number was just recieved in Wellsburg WV to an elderly female, The man on the line stated that her car was going to be re-po'd. The elderly female doesnot even own a car, she lives in a nursing home this number is a pranker.

I've had 10 calls from this number in 1 week!  I have told them on 5 occasions to remove my number from the list.  Each time I ask for a supervisor and am imediatly cut off.  The recorded message says that I can buy additional warrente protection for my car.

just got a call from this number and let it go to voicemail.  it was some sort of recorded message that my VM system cut off before i could figure out what it was for.  clearly callspam.

Seen this number a few times on phone. Says "Miami, FL" for the caller ID. Have not answered it. Anyone know who/what this is?
