I have just received 2 of these plucking calls.

I thought something was funny so I did not return the call.  I think Verizon should step up to the plate on this one;

I just got a text at 11:05 am that says:  Call 5126875961 or 3054559475  H S B C  from 213369@vtext.com

I've gotten several texts from 996882@vtext.com saying: "( N O T I C E) Call 3054559475 A R I Z O N A F C U" I've also gotten a few phone calls from the number, but never answer the phone unless it's a number I know. I'm guessing Arizona FCU is Arizona Credit Union, however I have never had an account with them. They have been texting/calling me for about 3 weeks now. Never called, never replied, figured it was a scam of some sort.

text referenced account that has been closed three years .... Verizon lets me set a permanent block on that number so they will bother me no more

This message says it's from TIC Federal Credit Union, I haven't had an account with them in over three years. Clearly a scam of some financial kind.

Came through on my phone yesterday. I got StraightTalk as my cellphone carrier.

got a call from 3054559475. no idea what is going on.  maybe they are collecting ip addresses via this website.

Got a text at 1223pm on 7/3/13 with the following:
225955@vtext.com
Call 3054559475(Direct-Express)

It's shame but I no longer answer my phone...if it'a a legit call someone will leave a message I can
save, and verify and report...and I will report it.

Did not call or respond.

I got a text message from this number and saying to call it but I did not it sounded fishy to me.

Definite SCAM folks.  DO NOT REPLY TO ANY UNSOLICITED TEXT OR EMAIL.

NEVER GIVE UP YOUR CARD ACCOUNT INFORMATION OR PIN.

got text saying call about direct us express called ask for cc info not happening definitely fraud alert to me

It's a credit card scam. They tell you there have been fraud activity on your card and to prevent interruption enter your credit card number. Of course, I didn't enter my credit card number. Instead, I entered 1234567891234568, and it told me that was an invalid card number. I was trying to see what else it would ask for, etc.

I just got the same message. Not gonna call...

just got a text from this number and my caller ID says [ExpressDirect]Call.  also 216800@vtext.com.  I use Verizon so that explains the "vtext.com" part but otherwise no other message and I have no clue who this is.

Two months later they are still at it.  Text msg says "Attention is needed. [DirectUS] call: 3054559475" at 5:50am! I did not call back as I guess it is a junk call.

Received a text regarding an urgent account issue, saying that I should call immediately. I tried calling the number twice to see what kind of scam it was but it was busy both times. They haven't tried calling back or sent another message.
