sales pitch that isn't a sales pitch?

Another "Florida" number that never responds... why are you wasting my time?  i've been added to the do no call registry... it's actually illegal for them to call me... next time I'll put you through the process of being sued... DON'T CALL ME AGAIN!!!!

They have been calling me for the last 7 months cant stop them.

Nothing but silence, then hangs up after about 20-30 seconds.

This number calls my cell phone every day at the same time, rings briefly and is gone before I can pick it up! I thought maybe it was a fax machine calling.

If anyone finds out how to stop this, please let me know.

These f***ing jerks keep calling me too. I'm in Mn and I read all the coments so I guess they must randomly call different states just to piss people off! I don't get what they are getting out of this???

I just got a call from this number, and the guy asked for me and when I said this is she, he hung up! I called him back immediately, and got the voicemail box, so apparently he's got it set that way. Next time I see this number, I've got a foghorn for him.

I thought I had finally gotten rid of these people but, lo and behold, they called again today, Tuesday, September 1, at 1:39 p.m. Eastern time.  The caller said, "Can I speak to Ray Prince please?"  I told him, firmly, "There is no Ray Prince here and never has been."  The caller said, "Oh, really?" and then hung up.  What a jerk!

These people are back at it again. Answer the phone and get huing up on don't answer and the answer mechine gets a bust signal I thought that the "NO CALL was to stop these calls I am on all NO CALL Lists but that doesn't seem to matter these jerks justkeep on calling Maybe if one or two of them got the fine that goes with what they are doing.

call and complain to XO 800-932-8501 this is the legal dept. tell them you are going to report them to the fcc as it is ilegal to use auto dailers to call cell phones

I think this is a ruse by the phone company to add to my charges.

Much the same 'Florida' caller ID.  I just answer the phone and end the call nearly before the first ring.  If it were a collection agency, they (at least by Oregon law) must identify themselves clearly on caller ID.

i actually picked up today when they called(seeing as i dont usually answer number i dont know) and after saying hello a few times a very nervous voice broke through asking for one of my buddies. he used to live in florida but has since(last year) lived in illinois. after i said no, hes not here, he hung up. and im getting the same answering device that tells me that "their mail box is full" everytime i call the number. bout to go insane over here. anyone know how to get ahold of their office?

this number has called m 5 times tonight in arkansas. no answer when i answer. what is with this number? i have critical ill cousin in california and i am afraid not to answer.  i do not have call id

I keep getting this call from 305 479-2557. There is a delay from the caller. We suppose it is a telemarketer, so we hang up when there is no answer

3rd call in a week

Called me on 9/18 (I'm in Houston, TX).  Didn't leave a message.  I think if I see a "305" area code number again, I'll answer with "FCC Legal Department: DO NOT CALL Registry Violations" and see what they do.

They  call daily to me saying i bought a  Disney pkg  from RCI and when  i  tell them  I  did not they hang up

I have been getting these calls also for forever, today they called and sad"Hi Clara your on the air" well hello,,,,, I have aasked these people numerous times and my husband has even been rude to them not to call back to no avail,I dont know what they are telling any of you, but for me its a Florida airline pkg, that I haven't used yet, excuse me, but I havent enrooled into anything to recieve any such thing in the first place,someone needs to stop these calls for I am on the do not call list and I am going to report this number!!!!!!!!!

this number has called me here in ontario canada six times this week - and never anyone there - but tonight I finally spoke to someone and told them to leave me alone... the man got right offended and said "I'm through with this conversation"

I received a call from 305-479-2657 on 10/13/09 from a very sarcastic guy.  Told me I had paid $398 via a credit card for a FL vacation 3 years ago and if I did not use it soon, it would expire.  He said all it would cost me is the cost to get to FL.  I said I had never paid for a FL vacation and he said "oh yes you did" and I asked which cc it was.  He gave me a 4 digit # and said that was all he had to identify it - I told him I have never had a cc with that 4 digit # so they had to be mistaken.  I asked who was calling and all he said was it was for a time share (RIC).  When I said I wasn't interested, he sarcastically said "What?  Don't you have enough money to get to FL?"  I stalled him by saying I would have to check with my daughter to see if we had discussed this as if one of us had purchased any such vacation, we would have made the decision together.  I asked for a call back # and he said he could not give it but would call back.  I had a Citibank card breached about 3 years ago (one guy from Venzuela went to prison in FL for that scam of the Citi cards) and I was suspicious this might be from the same scam as the newspaper articles regarding that guy said the authorities thought many other people were involved in it.  I do intend to contact Citibank as well as our state consumer protection office about this also. I am on the "Do Not Call" list also.

They've called ten times in the last week, asking for someone that I don't know.  I've answered three times, telling them to stop calling, that they have the wrong number, but they keep calling.  I have heard a woman's voice with an Indian accent, and a male's.

I kept asking to be added to the Do Not Call list. He just continued his sales spew.

They keep calling non stop and never leave messages.

Called but just an open line . . . . no one says anything.

This stupid number has called me three times today and when I answer, no one is there.

They call me at least one time every day and when I answer they hang up

If they are calling your cell number, do the following;
Next time these idiots call;
1. add the number to your phone contacts
2. label it Bad Caller
3. Assign no ring tone to the number

Do this and you will not hear the call or answer. Your phone will list their calls and you can just delete and not be bothered with these idiots!
