calls twice a day.....have it listed as "scam" in my directory. When they call the caller id lights up
as Scam and I dont answer....

These idiots kept calling me and disrupting my work. It's obviously scam b***s*** and probably identity thieves. the number is listed as 305-602-0638 which shows up in the directory as "Peerless Network Landline in Miami, FL", when googled you'll find www.peerlessnetwork.com/contact-us/do-not-call-lists/ According to their website, they claim to be a phone service provider.
There are many of these small VoIP phone companies popping up everywhere, and scammers whom disguise themselves as VoIP phone companies. Here's the difference, legitimate VoIP phone companies do not arbitrarily call people's cell phones and then hang up on them when you ask them who they are or which company they're calling from. A real company will answer your questions, not hang up on you.
This "Peerless Network" may have hacked into cell phone carrier databases (such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc) to steal information, so definitely don't give them any information.
Here's a solution, an easy thing to do is to create a "Scam" contact on your cell phone contact list to save the number to, and use the edit options to send call directly to voicemail, at least this way your phone won't ring with these stupid random Florida numbers.
Furthermore, the problem with VoIP numbers is that they can be anywhere in the world and have their number show as if they are somewhere else, so in reality, these people could be in Africa, Asia, the mideast, or wherever else in the world, but they can have a VoIP number that makes it look like they're calling from Florida (for example), or anywhere else that seems domestic (safe) when in reality it's not safe.
Hopefully this helps others to not get taken by these goons.

These A***oles call almost every day changing their number so when you block them they call on a different number as to avoid the do not call list.
They are just a recording and speak spanish,

Yes - don't know who it is .... if they don't leave a message - I don't answer. They've called several times & they're about to get blocked & cussed out as well if it continues. Don't have time to answer calls that don't leave messages - my number is for my shop & it is not a public number.
