just got a call while I was in the grocery store, saying they were wells fargo and asking for all the information, I hung up but I was wandering how they got my cell number

I've received numerous calls about a Wells Fargo debit card.  I don't have one and don't appreciate the calls.  I received a call last night at 11PM when I was asleep.  I would like to report this phone number and make certain they don't contact me anymore!

received a call on my cell phone from wells fargo about a debt card problem. I hung up on them because i dont bank with wells fargo.

I called Wells Fargo about this and asked them if they were going to post an advisory, they blew it off. I'm less then impressed with how they are informing their customers of this scam as it is obviously hitting multiple states now.

Sadly, criminals don't care about "the law".

Called me at 12:53AM......... definately a problem here. NO legit business would call at that time. No message left either

Got a call from this number on my CELL phone.  I did not recognize so did not answer.  I always look up the numbers on whitepages.com (then select the tab "reverse phone"), and found that this number is a scam.  I'm listed in the Do Not Call Registry, but a lot of good that does, eh?

Called my husband... funny thing is we don't even bank with Wells Fargo... Knew right away it was fraud.

This number called me at 12:32 last night and woke me up! I didn't answer and now I am sure glad I didn't. I don't even have anything to do with Wells Fargo, I hate these dumb calls especially in the middle of the night.

Called my cell phone and would not answer when I picked up. Ticks me off that they call my cell phone and use my minutes. Where are they getting my #, I don't give it out to anyone! These people need to be stopped!

I also got one about a Wells Fargo debit card having issues and being suspended.  I don't even have one so obviously it's a scam.   I just wanted to explore it a bit already full knowing it was a scam.  They ask for the last 4 numbers of your social for "security reasons," all automated.  But I hung up after that.

Got a call. I usually don't answer numbers I don't have and that are not from my area code. My bank would normally introduce themselves and then tell me the last four digits of the card at issue. Plus, I recognize the automated voice they use. This must be a scam call trying to get cc info. DO NOT ANSWER and if you did call your bank immediately to cancel card.

I received a phone call from this number today and since I didn't recognize it I did not answer and let it go to voice mail.  No message was left for me and upon searching for the area code I found it is from Florida. Doubt it was important, probably a scammer.

This number is an automated message asking for information about your debit card.  Do not answer or give them any information.  If you do give some information, make sure to call your financial institution immediately to cancel your card and protect your account.
