This number called me and when I answered no one was there. It's not like there was a dial tone, it's just that no one answered back.

Ever hear the saying......if it sounds to good to be true...it probably is???  I knew when I was applying that something didn't feel right with this job!!! Offering $20 to $30 per hour! Great Benefits! Little experience!  Desire to get $ for College!!! Oh yeah..found the ad off of craigslist and had a voicemail yesterday asking me to hold on for a verification specialist..and then it just hung up!! Tried to call back and it said all circuits are busy!! After reading all of your messages...totally a scam!!! Don't reply to this email address on craigslist......chole.andrade@gmail.com!!!!!!!

I just took a phone call from them and was put on hold for almost ten minutes.  They asked me to verify information on my resume that I submitted through craigslist.org

Be very careful with the information you give out in all cases, but in this case they were looking to verify my education.  They only asked for info that was a matter of public record anyway.  Phone, email, street address.  They asked if I had a bachelor's degree and then asked me to confirm I was no longer at University.  I told them I was currently enrolled in an online program and once I stated that, they couldn't get me off the phone fast enough.

I don't know what they are playing at, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was cold calling for continuing education programs.  Legit or not?  Probably not based on the cagey way they went about the whole process.

Hi there,
Wow. It looks like we've all be hitting the same thing. A few days ago I applied for a few jobs in Savannah, Georgia. When I clicked on the application process, it took me to a few different websites...blastcareers.com is one, but I can't remember the others. Then a few days later I received a phone call from this telephone number telling me there were Employment Solutions and that I should hold for a verification specialist. I held for over an hour. I finally hung up. I tried calling back and got the "circuits are busy message," I finally googled the number and came up with this site. It seems the education thing is linked as well, especially since on all three websites you are asked to check a box if you are/are not interested in pursuing education possibilities. I checked no. Hmm. It's very frustrating because the jobs were very promising. Also, to note....all of the positions were listed on Yahoo as Confidential (for the employer).

Yeah----I answered an ad on Craig's List two days ago---Since then, this number has called twice but left no message.

After answering the ad, I got an immediate e-mail instructing me to fill out an official job application on another site.  This application asked for my social security number!  I gave them a bogus number just to mess with them---

Be aware of Scams---

What you need to do is look for the email address to send the resume to ends ALWAYS in hr.  Ex markvhr@gmail.com. And it's always GMAIL.  Scumbags.

I live in AL and applied for a job on career-net.com. This number called me the next day on my cell phone, and I also listed my home number. I did not answer the call and they didn't leave a message. I've been told by Government companies and other companies in general that there are "outside" people who will try to contact the person applying and pretend to be the company they applied for and will ask questions and try to get personal information. DO NOT GIVE IT OUT! Do not respond to the phone call. The only time you should respond when it's the employer themselves. This number is a SCAM! I promise! I've been told.

I got a call from this number because I applied for a job online. I held for a live person. A lady wanted to verify my information. What she had was what I put on the application. Then she started asking me if I was interested in going to back to college.  Not thinking I said yes, so of course, she transfered me to another person who was talking to me about going to college. She asked me what I was interesed in and I told her.  She told me she would have an advisor call me to discuss doing online classes. No faster then I hung up the phone with her another person called me from the school saying she was going to transfer me to an advisor. I told her I didn't have time and she got mad.
I'M NOT ONE TO GIVE MY INFORMATION OUT OVER THE PHONE, SO THEY WERE KINDA MAD WITH ME. JUST WANT EVERYONE TO BE AWARE. I THINK IT IS PEOPLE TRANSFERING YOUR INFORMATION TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I FEEL I AM GOING TO BE HARASSED AND THAT IT IS A SCAM!!!!!

It is a verification place for a job application.  I don't know what company it is or why they call to verify a job. I don't trust it..They put you on hold and an automated voice comes on and tells you to hold on for thr next available person to verify your application..I don't give out my social to anyone..Only after I have the job. Needless to say I have not talked to them!

I just got a call from them too, fortunately I didn't pick up. they left a message stating that I they're calling to verify my employment for a job i applied for within the last week. If they call me back again, i will answer their call, will not provide them with any of my info. and I will question them instead about the exact position i applied for, what company, and advise them to never call me again. It's sad that someone out there would prey on people trying their best to find employment to support themselves or their family. We need to find a way to put an end to this scam or predator.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number. The message was that they needed me to contact in regard to a job application on craigslist. It is a shame that these companies have to take advantage of people looking for employment. I will not call them back.
