Just got a call, did not answer, but googled the number and found this. I wonder if the numbers come from the same source. It might be interesting to fine out. The only thing that I have done recently that is different from normal activity is file bankruptcy, any one else?

Called my cell while I was at work.  I answered it because I have friends that bounce around the country and whatnot so I don't usually give a second thought to area codes that I don't recognize.  I answered, said hello once, then got disconnected with my phone showing a missed call.  Tried to call back and got something about my international call not being able to be completed at this time.  I know I'm on the DNC list and as I was looking at the number I thought for sh*ts and giggles I'd google it.  Didn't think I'd find anything but there are pages on this.  Oh well.  Guess I probably didn't get scammed, lol.

Got a call from this number ((305) 758-9297) at noontime today. After two rings they had hung up. Possibly the same credit card scam that called a week ago.

I keep getting calls from this number as well. I just tried to dial it back and it says the number has been disconnected..they just called me last night. Pfft

Not only are we on the Do Not Call registry, we pay Verizon about $5/month to intercept these unwanted calls.  I tried taking the Call Intercept off after the first three months, and instead of unidentified nuisance calls every day, we started getting upwards of a dozen.

These criminal telemarketers illegally leave fake information on your Caller ID.  The only way to stop them from calling you again and again (using different spoofed Caller ID info each time) is to report them using their real identities.  Information on how to do this can be found at the only web site whose focus is to do just that:  www.heatherwithaccountservices.com.

What can be done about this.  Sounds like whether this is a fraud scam or not, these individuals are not following the rules/regulations of the telemarketing industry.  I get calls weekly on this.  I am signed up for the national DNC registry and have asked to be taken off of their call list repeatedly.

Everytime I ask the individual on the other line about what is going on and why I am still getting calls, they hang up on me.

I get this phone call every week. I always press 1 to speak to a rep and ask to be taken of the list. So, this Monday's call was no different, except the guy told me that I had to pay $39.95 to be taken off the list or file a complaint. LOL! I said, "Dumbass, It's my legal right and it's free at the FTC! He said, "WHAT?! What's the FTC?" LOL!

I just received a phone call from a number that was listed on my caller ID as "out of area" when I answered, I said hello twice before hearing anything.  Then I heard an automated message say "visa and mastercard holders, your interest rate may go up causing your minimum monthly payments to go up starting this month", then it told me to press "6" to talk to a representative to lower my interest rate.  I pressed 6, waited a few seconds and a woman got on the line and asked me if I was wanting to lower my interest rate, I said no, and that I wanted them to stop calling me.  She immediately hung up on me.

After a little digging I found out this number belongs to:

also any "robo" calls made to personal cell phones are very illeagal and should be reported to the FCC.

I got a call on my cell, and when I checked my voice mail it said it was an international call. Huh, what a coincidence that the call appears to be from Miami. I wish I had picked it up. It is so fun to annoy the scammers by giving them fake answers and asking them questions like, "Do you have a dog? I have a dog. You should get one. They are the best pets ever!" I am glad there are websites like this and the FCC to help people who get these calls.

Called my cell phone and I missed the call. I thought it was a friend so I called back and it said that my "international call could not be completed as dialed." The thing is, a bunch of people said that the company appeared to be from Miami.

I got a call from this number. A voice message warned me my auto warranty was expired and I should re-new it. and I should not drive without a warranty.  It asked press 1 for a representive or 2 to hang up. I pressed 1 and I was asked "what year make and model of vehicle". I replied "firstly what is your name" Guess what the phone went dead.......Scam.

I just got a call from this person as well. I didn't answer, got a message.

It was someone asking about lowering credit card something.

So this is 100% a scam?

Never received a call from this number before, until this morning on my cell phone.  I answered because I recognized the area code as Miami, and I do business with people there.  There was no one there.

I looked up the number and found out it was these cretins, so I filed a complaint with the FCC.

Although Cell numbers are not used for telemarketing, those who don't abide by the law do not care.  Got a call from +305-758-9297 and it was a recorded message about lowering my credit card interest rate, I already have the lowest rate possible and no balance, so I know right off this was a scam.  Your options are to press 1 to speak with someone, or 2 to be removed from the list, but I suspect, 1 will only get someone who tries to scam you out of your card number, and 2 just confirms that your number is valid to be sold to other scamers.  A few weeks ago I got a call on my cell from a 213-291-1900 number about some survey.  I told this character that I was on the do not call list and to remove my number.  He proceeded to try to say that they would make sure my opinion counted, and I said that what he could make sure of for me was that they or anyone else never called my cellphone again.  I guess this is just the beginning of the calls spilling over to cellphones.

Got a call from Heather at Account Services (Most of us know her from other phone numbers).  Since these people call on a regular basis, just for fun, I gave the phone to my 18-year old so he could play with them.  He needs experience dealing with scam artists.  They were looking for Credit Card number, VIN number, expiration date, mothers maden name, social security number... He happily answered these questions with bogus answers.  At the end, caller was informed that he was being played with. Caller responded with a series of profanities.  Love it when we can get their tail a wagging, and cut them off at the knees.  hahaha

They're calling my cell phone, which is on the Do Not Call list.

this number calls me more then 3 times a week for so long now. its a recording and asks me if i want to speak to someone to press 1. i press 1 and start to ask to be removed but the telemarketer hangs up on me.

I was getting calls from one company for their car warranty scam...finally got removed from the list. Calls stopped for about a week and today I'm getting a new number calling 305-758-9297. This one doesn't give you an option to stop the calls by being removed from the list by pressing 2/9 or whatever number option they give you. So, this time I pressed 1 to be connected. Now, the previous harassing calls at least made an effort to take my numbers and "say" they will have me removed. This one just asked for the make/model of my car and I asked to be removed and they hung up. I'm going to try to call this one back and see what happens...funny thing is...I called...says the number that just called me and connected me with a person is disconnected! WTF!!!! I'm so sick of people taking advantage of us. What more can I do?

I got a call from +3057589297 this morning around 10:45am. I didn't answer because the plus sign indicates it's an international call. I'm wondering if this is a call from Greece, as +30 is the country code for Greece.

I get a ring, I say hello and I get dead air then they hang up.

It was an auto-attendant trying to sell "name your own price" cruises. I pressed 8 to be removed from the list and reported them to the DNC list.

I received a automated call they ask if I wanted to lower my interest rates on my credit cards and to press 1 if I did.  An operator came on  and wanted to know how many cards  I have and how much I owe on the cards.  She also wanted acount numbers.  I didn't give any info on my cards I ask who she worked for she wouldn't say  I told her I was  not interested  she quickly hung up.    THIS HAS TO BE SOME KIND OF SCAM   Thanks
