her names appears with the fake 307-223-0458 number to call on several other websites. Sandra works for the spammers !

First, take a look at the number being reported here, then take a look at the number that "Sandra" posted to get these calls to stop! It's the same number!
Further, this same poster (using different first names - recently sometimes as "Sandra" and other times as "Peter) has been spamming other sites similar to who calls me with the exact same post! This isn't the only incident too. They have been spamming these sites since at least 2009!
It's another means for scammers to determine if they have a live number. Not really different than having you either answer a call or press a number! Think about it!

To those being harrassed by telemarketers, be aware that initiating contact with a vendor essentially nullifies the restrictions on telemarketing to you, effectively 'giving permission' to call you as an existing business relationship due to your inquiry.
Given the scummy business ethics of people who engage in telemarketing to make money, skepticism is indeed appropriate before emailing or calling some 'magic number' to help you with the calls. The scammers quite often do monitor the reporting websites for comments about their own calling numbers, and it would certainly behoove them to have complainants contact them, thus initiating contact and invalidating the restrictions on calling you.
Best avenue is to take copious notes, record all information about the calls. Make a voice recording of the call if possible to keep with your records. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 is a federal law specifying up to $1500 in damages for each violation... for those diligent enough to keep good records and cross reference similar messages, this can result in significant damages being awarded.

This do not call service at 307-223-0458 DID stop the phone calls. Yes, it's true you can't believe everything you see on the internet because the scam comments of this phone number is pure paranoia. Obviously you will chose which comment is true or false. Personally, I'm too busy and have no desire to spread rumors, I just wanted to pass this on to be helpful.

I just got two consecutive calls this morning from this number! Of course, they left no message. I refuse to call back. I will be blocking them from my cell phone number!
