I am on the do not call list, why is this happening

my wife just got one of these call's at her company desk she cut them off I will be calling FB I this is as illegal as it gets everyone please do the same as it will prob deal with another countries involvement

I'm not sure who this is, but I received a call from them.

Received call from this number and no message left. Definitely a scammer, because I do not use the number that was called for anything except personal calls. I have a different number for my card companies. How dumb are these people. They need to get a life and a real job and leave honest people alone or deal with the government.

I received a call from them today. It starts out as a recording for lowering interest rates or something. It did not give an option to be removed from their calling list so I pressed "9" for a representative. Once I did that, a guy with a foreign accent got on the line. I advised for him to remove me from their calling list and he said that there isn't a list and went then proceded into his pitch. I cut him off and once again advised to be removed and he asked if I knew why they were calling to which I replied "Yes, you are a telemarketer". He then got angry and went into an expletive filled rant calling me and my mother names then hung up. Weird.

Spam number reported to federal no call list. they called my number which is listed on the federal no call list. the last one of these companies that called I answered the phone and told them to take me off of their list. no one said a word and they hung up on me.

I dont even have any credit cards!

Received a phone call this afternoon from 309-000-0001 wanting to lower my interest rate.  I do have a card where the interest rate is going to be going up so thought I would give it a shot... WRONG.  NIgerian gets on the phone I asked where he was and he said Atlanta.  First he wanted my card number and I said well if your from the company you should know my number and last payment.  I wanted him to identify himself after enough of his lingo saying he's trying to protect me, I fell for his crap then he asked if I was married, how old I was and top it off what I was wearing.  I said WTF.. Called credit card company immediately and had card cancelled seemed to be only interested in VISA accounts because he told me I had another VISA which I dont.  After giving him information he was able to pull up all my current info, balance and payment.  How that can happen since I have to use a password to get into my account I don't know.  but Beware.  I was a dummy once, no more... I hope at least.

At 5:45 received a call from "YOUR SECURITY" (651-333-4187) but I've turned my answering machine off; it rang 6 or 7 times.  It quit ringing and IMMEDIATELY after, the call came in from this number, 309-000-0001 (CID said ILLINOIS).  BIG tip off with the three zeros in the middle - ain't no such animal!!  I'm willing to bet these two calls were related.  Needless to say, "Illinois" wasn't answered either.  If you don't know the name or number, don't answer!!  I don't mind a ringing phone, knowing I'm wasting these jerks' time!

Just received a call from this number and told the member of the Taliban that my calls were being forwarded to my work number and asked if he could call me back at work. I gave him the number for my local FBI Office and haven't heard a word since.

I just received a call from this idiot. It started as a robotic call. When prompted I pressed "9" and informed the Indian or Pakistani sounding man that my number was on the "do not call registry" Then he told me to shut up. That is when I got mad and told him what I thought of his ancestry, and his canine female parent. He then said he would come down here and F*** my daughter. I told him to come on, I had plenty of room to bury his dumb a**, and hung up.

This is a scam   They should be stop from making calls

Received a call from this number, appeared to be a telemarketer.  Have received numerous calls from this number

I RECEVIED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AT 2:07 THIS AFTERNOON.  AS SOON AS I ANSWERED THE PHONE, THE CALLER HUNG UP!

I PERFORMED A COMCAST STAR-57 TRACE ON THE NUMBER AND A STAR-69 CALLER ID ON THE NUMBER THREE TIMES.

THIS WHOLE CALL WAS STUPID.  I'VE RECEVIED SIMILAR STUPID HANG-UP CALLS BEFORE.  MY PHONE NUMBER IS ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.

BS caller telemarker or other spam. Or so type of hijack type call

this is the same card services that calls about 10 x per day trying to get you to lower your rates on your cards- but yet they dont have any info  and expect you to give it to them

My telephone service provider allows be to block calls from my phone.  After a single call, I can dial a few numbers and block all future calls.  When they call again, the number appears on my TV screen if the TV is on, but there is NO RING.  I love it!!  COX Communications provides my phone service.

First of all, why would ANYONE answer a call with the middle three numbers as 0s.  That alone is a DEAD giveaway this is a spoofed number!  NEVER answer calls you don't know.  I sometimes turn off my answering machine and let the phone ring and waste their time (I have it set to low),

Don't forget, when you're speaking with one of the card service scammers the person on the line is either a drug addict, or felon or both. Very little intelligence or command of the English language can be expected of these kind of lowlifes. If they weren't such pests, and disgusting scammers of mainly the elderly, we could have pity on them for the miserable existences they all live through. Beware of these disgusting creatures, and warn others before they are cheated!

You're right, it is a scam by the drug-addicted "card services" scammers who pretend to be associated with various credit card companies in an effort to fool people into giving them their credit card numbers so they can rip them off. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others before they are cheated!

This man - after I dialed 9 to speak with a representative  - used the unbelievable language and said he WAS the FCC and refused to take me off his list. He then began to talk about how old I might be and speculated in pornographic terms about my reproductive organs!

The FCC must close these people down.

TAKE ME OFF YOU LIST OR I WILL HAVE TO REPORT YOU.  i HAVE A VERY SICK WIFE AND THESE CALLS UPSET HER

Mid-Eastern sounding man called and insisted he could lower my credit card interest rates.  Became quite nasty when I told him I was not interested.  He kept repeating how he could cut my interst rates and save me lots of money, and why would I not want to save money.  When I told him I do not pay interest because I pay my card charges when I get the bill and make sure I don't have a balance subject to interest charges.  He insisted that was not true and that he knew for fact that I have an outstanding balance of $4,000 (which I do not).  He said he had a copy of my bill in front of him and I do owe $4,000.  I told him that there better not be a balance on my card and if there is I would know he is the one who put it there.  I asked that he not call me again.  These calls need to be stopped and ended.  I have serious health problems and do noit need the aggravation of these numerous and frequent callers.  These calls are scam and I am concerned how they get my phone number in the first place.  There must be some action taken at some level to end these annoyances.  No one need be subjected to these scrupulous individuals.

Obvious scam. You cannot have a phone number that begins with a zero.

Call from this number May 13 at 12:08 PM. Caller ID read "Illinois". I don't know anybody in Illinois so I didn't bother to pick up. Huge waste of time.

Received a call from this number prompting to press 9.  Mid eastern accented man was so rude when I told him to remove me from the list and told me I had to remain on line for  1 1/2 minutes in order to this this.  Blocked this jerkwad and his number from my phone.  Why isn't the FCC going after these people.

This is the latest "Rachel" call. Obviously a "spoofed" caller ID.

The person was rude and swore and told me she didn't give a s*** whether I was upset or not.  How do you get rid of these types of calls?  I didn't call any company to report the call.  I had no idea where it came from.
