i got a call from this number 3092003797 i called it back and the same person picked it up. He said his name was kirk from a law firm in bloomington Illinois. He would not give this information to me until i called back and he didnt realize it was me. know the man will not pick the phone back up.

I received the same call and told them that I was a sheriff  deputy and was tracing the call and they hung up immediately have not heard from them since so I would try that the next time they call. My wife got a real kick out of the whole thing.

Ya...I've been dealing with these fools (or ones like them) for over 2 years. I knew it was fake right away because I don't have any debts that haven't been paid. Plus the fact that they won't give you any information is a RED FLAG! I've worked in the financial industry for 16+ years & I can tell you first hand: anyone out there...if you have an unpaid debt that is being collected upon, financial institutions are not ALLOWED to proceed in this manner. My advice is to block their phone # and if they call from a restricted #, ignore it. Also, make sure to put a fraud alert on your credit because they are somehow getting social security #'s, etc.

Received a call stating to call or have my attorney call.  The person was hard to understand and said his name was David Parks from Edison.

Yep I've been getting the same calls and scripts every single time!!-I've blocked them..BUT they seem to get different numbers..and I also found out that they are using a MAGIC JACK..so that means that they are NOT calling from the US, they are in Pakastan..I'm getting tired of these calls..who do they think that they are messing with????..And on top of that, these people that have NO LIFE, got my sons info, and he is only 8 yrs old!! They had his last four digits of his ss number..our address BUT they had his birthdate wrong!!!..They said he was going to be arrested and said that I was a liar and that I was going to jail too..BUT I didn't fall for his crap..so  these people are ONCE again getting reported!! To bad we couldn't deport these people and charge them with FRAUD!!..

Same number called my cell an work number. A guy with a last name Day. Smh. Saying if I or my attorney didnt call back I would be arrested at 11am on Monday morning. I was freaked out. He didn't know I had an attorney so I had my attorney call. The line was very fuzzy an he wouldn't tell my lawyer any information. These ppl are F'd up. This needs to be STOPPED!!!

I contacted a lawyer on this and they said u have to call them out and they will either get mouthy with u, hang up or cuss u out....but most of these calls come from overseas, but id as a USA number.

This number came up on my cell phone, i dont remember the guys name but had a strong indian accent, when i called him out he told me that i would find out in the morning and i just laughed and told him hes funny....these are just scams, pay no attention to them.

I have been recieving calls from this number also (213-283-8557).But the name that they leave is..*Travis Fitch/Bi***??*..I called back and couldn't get through..all I got was a voicemail saying *MAILBOX* is full sorry!!..I kept calling until I got a answer..A lady with a foriegn voice answered-I asked for *Travis Fitch/Bi***??*-she/He stated he wasn't in the office and that I had to speak to her/him..well to cut to the chase, I acted like I was an attorney and asked for the client I.D./Case number that she was referring to.and she couldn't give me an answer..she did say this though..that I was a B****...and a C***!!..I told her to stop calling my phone or else I was going to get them for harrassment..and that the calls were being reported & recorded...I've also saved all of the message's sent from them!!!! These people need to get a LIFE!! They've messed with the wrong AMERICAN here!!..They are the ones who are stupid enough to think we will fall for that crap!!!!! So the laugh is on them!! HAHA!!

The person who called me was very difficult to understand except when he stated that he was filing a legal case against me and that I would be arrested immediately If I did not make payment arrangements with him immediately. Then he called back an hour later after I already told him not to call any more and said I needed to appear in court on friday in my county. Still will not disclose a company name and the call back number from my caller id just goes to busy signal.

I got the same call..and its a SCAM!!-They've tried calling me a few months ago but it was a different number..they can't play this american!!-They need to get a LIFE!!

We called back again. This was a shorter conversation...it pretty much went along the same lines as the others, although this time "Travis" was "Derrick" He tried to act as if he didn't remember JUST speaking to us several minutes earlier. We asked him one simple question:

"Why don't you just admit that this is a lie? We've made you out to be the frauds you are. Your information is wrong, your facts aren't facts and the only thing that you've managed to get right is my brothers information, and that's because you stole it from somewhere and are trying to use it to extort money from him. Will you just admit that you are scamming people?"

People, this is a straight damn scam as I'm sure you all know. (BEEP) these a-holes. I'm looking at how to report these fools to some form of agency that can handle and arrest these frauds and liars. Sooooo.....my gf just got a call from this number and called me freaking out cuz they said that she was gonna go to jail if she didn't get this fixed. I got home and asked her what all was said and could instantly tell that something wasn't right. So we decided to call them back after the last guy got upset and hung up on her when she started asking questions. When we called back we could barely understand what the hell the guy was saying in the first place and then he wanted to get an attitude when she again started asking questions like who this claim was through and where they were located. And that's where I had to step in. I asked him the same things and it seemed like once he knew that more than one person was on the call he tried to change his strategy and wanted to be like "you should remember you are talking to an attorney and should talk to me like that" First off, all we asked was for who this all was from so we could contact THEM to get this straightened out and it was like pulling teeth to get any answers from him (probably cuz he had to think up a lie to cover his a**) and secondly, I don't know any attorney's office that would be as rude and unproffesional as these guys were. So the more I think about it the more I think I'm gonna have some fun with these morons if/when they decide to call my gf again.   I'll be sure to put our fun times with them on here for the world to laugh at.

OH, and by the way, what made us do this was after I saw this website and saw that all of you and more on other sites had be called by these smack-tards! You guys put your info out there trying to get a loan, and these (BEEP) are trying to take advantage of it. BUT, after talking with some friends, he realized that this was a scam, and in a panic, didn't see the obvious signs that it was. I got the same call today and I told the guy to file what ever paper work he needed to and my lawyer will sue him for harassment because I never received any freaking thing from them. I need to know how to contact the FCC to report this mess!

this same guy everyone is talking about has called my phone a few times. even from a different number. This message he left he was making threats. and telling me that he would feel very sorry for me if I didnt call back, and I better call back now. He said on my voicemail that he would be looking for me and have the police arrest me.

I recieved the same call from an indian guy after applying for a short term loan. He had all my information and threatened to have me put in jail. He couldnt give any valid information. This man needs to be stopped! The call is coming from Illinois somewhere! It can be very upsetting especially if your not familiar with whats going on! Please more people add posts! I keep getting phone calls from this number saying I owe money, which I do not.
I had my girl friend answer the call the 4th time and the man on the phone would not give his name. My girlfriend hung up on him. He(?) called right back and told my girl friend to tell me that we were both going to be arrested tomorrow. This is so silly. I wish this man could be arrested for aggravation and stupidity.
