this # is used by a craigslaist scammer

Don't waste your time!

Wow!  I just got a response from an ad from craigslist...a 2006 Prius for $2K.  The information didn't make much sense & I decided to look Jennifer Edwards up on the internet.  No money sent & I thought this was too good to be true.  This the second scam not listed on ebay, but wanting to use ebay's payment services (which they will not allow).  Here's her response...

First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my car (2006 Toyota Prius Hybrid). I sell it at this price ($2,000) because i just finished the divorce with my husband. It has only 49,000 miles!!! The car is fully paid off, clean title. I have title in hand. I bought it since new and has only been adult driven and garage kept. I just had it serviced and put in a new battery a couple of months ago.
This car runs as good as a new one and has no dings, dents, or scratches. The divorce has finished 6 months ago and the car is mine now. After the divorce I was forced to buy a new house. Following the financial crisis I can't afford to pay the bank and I decided to sell the car. As you can see from the pictures, it's in excellent condition.
I'm very busy with my job and I'm out of town right now so I can't meet in person with you so this is the reason why I chose to sell my car over the Internet. From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay. I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services (I will receive the payment only after you receive and inspect the car and only if you agree to buy it). We will use a safe payment method because I am affiliated with eBay and I have a purchase protection account. The last price for this car is $2,000. I will pay for shipping and handling (the loan of my previous buyer didn't get approved, so, there won't be any additional shipping costs). If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name and address for shipping so I can initiate the deal through eBay. I will wait your answer (if you are interested to buy) very soon.

I've already included the quad into ebay vehicle purchase protection, so I will sell ONLY through this. I don't want to offend you but the quad is priced for a fast sale so please if you intend to apply for a loan or financing do not reply. Cindy, here is a detailed description of the ebay vehicle purchase protection. regarding the payment, you will be instructed to deposit the money to an ebay account. they will hold and insure your money until receipt of the quad in good condition. that is how their buyer protection policy works. as far as the seller concerns, I will be glad to know that ebay has the possession of the money during the delivery period. that is my insurance. as soon as I will have the confirmation from ebay that the funds have been deposited into their account, you can pick it up, I'll give you the directions. you will be given a 5 days inspection period. if you decide to hold the quad, then you will have to authorize ebay to release the funds to me, and the transaction will be completed. Wow..had a bad feeling about this and decided to google. So glad I did. I received this email verbatim (from the UNICEF to the price) and because it was being conducted through Ebay thought it might be legit. Thank you guys for posting this! It would not have been a pretty site in my household if we'd gotten scammed!

she got me too on 2-5-09 Everything was the same to a T. I will not let this go I will find whoever is running this scam.

this person has posted a scam vehicle for sale.  they want cash up front to ship a motorcycle.

Her reply to me says"  I'm currently on a trip for UNICEF."  

Why would you then be trying to sell something????
