309-419-1218 is a spammer / scammer's phone number.

Don't get ripped off!

The people behind this scam have used all sorts of illegal tricks to by-pass email spam filters.

In their newest round of spams, they use headers which have nothing whatsoever to do with university degrees.

In the body text, they use a scattering effect to stop filters picking up the key words like 'degree', and the phone number, items which can be used to block this criminal and deceptive spam.

309-419-1218 is a spammer-scammer chain's phone.

They WILL rip you off, in any way they can.
Results of using, or trying to use, a fake degree:
imprisonment
criminal record
loss of job
black-listed for job applications
being known to work colleagues as a fraudster
etc.

Just received an e-mail this morning (9/3/08) with a misleading heading in the subject line asking me to call this number.  Fat chance.

I got it this morning aso. I sent it on over as an attchment to spam @ my provider.

I got an email with PPriestt Prank in the subject line and thought it was odd that there were light pastel letters and numbers above random lines of words talking about bachelor degree, etc.  

Who actually WOULD call these people!?!!!  You'd have to be completely out of touch with reality lol.

Exactly!  Using a fake degree is not a good idea!

I too had a couple of similar spam lately. Does a recipient see it different in an e-mail client? I looked at it in a htlm-editor, but that didn't make much sense either. I only see it in MailWasher, so it never hits my inbox.
