I'm not sure if it was that specific number, because it was "withheld". Some one called me at 6:18am. I didn't answer, because they woke me from a dead sleep. I thought "It's Sunday, it can't be the IRS or any government building." So I didn't answer. They left a message. All it said was "our security department" in an automated robotic voice. Very confusing. Woke me up. How rude.

Twice this happen.Last time called me at 3:00 am.Now I need to block this number.

I got a call from this number saying that my mastercard has been blocked. They asked me for all my mastercard info, which I, of course, did not shared. Very suspicious...

I got a call from this number on Friday May 13. The message was that my MasterCard account was frozen. Does anyone know of a law enforcement agency I can call about this?

I missed a call from this from this number and when I called it back it say that it isn't a legal number. . . . ?????????

Got a call from them on 5/13 @4:30 pm EDT. I'm glad I didn't pick it up since from the looks of it, they're credit card phishers. Thanks for the confirmation.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone.  They said my Bank of America card is blocked and I need to talk to someone to get it up blocked.  I hung up immediately and check my bank account and it was not block.  When I recalled the number a recording says "That is not a valid extension."   Very suspicious indeed.

I got a call from this #. Operator says it is calling from HSBC and that my account is locked. I know this is a scam.

Just got one here on my work cell... after reading all these comments, I'm almost sorry I missed the call!

I received a call from this number telling me my debit card was frozen and giving instruction to dial an extension to talk with someone about it....I called my banks to confirm no freeze had been activated.  I also tried returning the call...and was told the connection was invalid

same thing, but "HSBC" was calling me....f****ng a***oles

They called & claimed that it was HSBC bank (which is where I have my account"  Asking for my numbers, etc...  CRAZY!  I am going to give that info to BBB.

Just missed a call from this number. Like others, I Googled and came up with this site. Tried calling back and got the same "invalid extension *click*" message that others have gotten.

i just received a automated call through my cell phone saying it was chase bank and my debit card had been locked.  press 1 to reinstate it. then it wanted my debit card number.  i hung up.  called bank and my account is fine.  do not put in your acct number.  called verizon and they dont know anything about how someone got my cell number.

These b*****ds called us at 2:30 in the morning last night. When I tried to call them back got the same nonsense the people above received. What can one do about this?  How do you go after these phishers? Anybody know any first steps?

I just got a call as well, only it was saying it was from HSBC but same everything else.
Hung up and did a quick Google search which brought me here.

Just got called about my HBSC account which I dont have.  My account was locked and I was to hit 1.  Ignore it and try to call from my private line and got recording saying not valid extension.  All BS, beware.

Just got the same call only this time it said Chase Bank was calling.

Got a text message from withheld in early april, and a call today from this number stating my HSBC card has been locked. I have no such card.

Got the same call on my cell....Luckily I wasn't around to answer it.  No VM

Received automated call today, stating my HSBC account had been locked press 1 to unlock.  I do not have an HSBC account so I ignored.

This thread goes back to January from the very same phone number. Why hasn't the FBI knocked on somebody's door yet?
