I keep telling the UCLA students that call from this number that I'm on the east coast and yet they keep calling me around west coast dinner time. That's 10PM for me. If nothing else, that's terrible salesmanship.

Thank goodness not everyone is a cheapskate like some of the posters on this page. You received a world-class education from one of the best, most well-respected insitutions of higher learning and you won't consider giving even a small donation? You're only hurting the value of your degree, as many top ranking systems look at what percentage of alumni give back as one of their main criteria.
Again, thankfully many of us have no problem giving back to help current students while simultaneously upholding the value of our individual degrees for better job opportunities.
A Proud Bruin

If those lazy good for nothing professors could not bother to teach me during my three years at UCLA Law school, what on earth makes them think I will give them a dime. I have nothing but hate for that horrible law school. I hope it burns to the ground.

Please do not use this phone number for marketing calls.

They call when I'm at work (swing shift), they call on the weekends (around six to seven PM), they never leave messages, and have ensured that in addition to having paid for a lifetime alumni membership, I'm still seen solely as a means for them to gain funds (that $50,000 you got for my education should have sufficed - as a lowly professor I don't hey paid enough to give you any more - now let me enjoy my freedom or leave a fricken message!! Which much like you're calls will go unanswered) .

Yes. It's UCLA. Although with me they asked how i had been doing first. A nice segue to the following question they didn't get to ask (I see now from reading your posts). Good thing I was busy. Not to fret UCLA, If I become even mildly successful I'll give back to you.

the last time a kid from UCLA called to ask me for donations, I made her cry by telling her about how hard the job market was. I also demanded to be removed from any and all call lists- so much for respecting your alums, UCLA.

Makes sense, they never leave a message and call in the middle of the day. It's a UCLA caller asking for donations.

yep, UCLA donor call. I get calls about 3x weekly from this # around 6:30 ET...
| Jenni 2013-11-26 02:52:05 Unknown |
The caller ID says "Go Bruins" so I'm almost sure this is some UCLA phone number asking for donations.....
