Calling to collect a debt that isn't mine, but also calls me by name as well. Unwilling to provide paperwork or any proof of the debt.

I recalled number it is a bill collection agency. I gave them my phone number they looked it up and gave me the name of the person they are trying to contact. I informed Mario that the person is not at this number. Mario will remove my number from their list and he told me the calls will stop within 24-48 hours.

WTF IS THIS NUMBA?  I GOOGLED IT AND CAME ACROSS THIS SITE?  WEST LOS ANGELES?  RECIEVD 750 PM/EASTERN TIME.  COLLECTORS SQUEEZING LAST MINUTE CALLS IN BEFORE END OF DAY?

Keeps harrassing us calling by name about some 11 year old phone bill! We keep telling them NOT to call. Reporting to do not call list. Have NO proof of bill when asked!

These people keep harrassing me too. They have no proof of a debt they say I owe.They hired lawyers to take me to court last year. I got the case dismissed and they started calling again last month about the same debt. Funny thing about the lawyers they used? They are now in court with the NY Attorney general for improper/illegal debt collection practices!!

calls morning and evenings. Asking by my name and said they are calling from city card. My phone # is unlisted.

CALLED LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESNT LIVE HERE. LEFT MESSAGE, SAID IF YOUR LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE YOU ARE ADMITTING THAT YOU ARE THIS PERSON. HOW STUPID IS THAT. WANT TAKE OUR NUMBER OFF THERE LIST!!!!!!!!

Called the company they said they were calling from. The company indicated they do not use them for collections. It was a suspicious call. The caller ID comes from the number 310-212-0400. It may be an internet based phone system seeking to get credit card information. We will report it as a phising call.

Don't ignore these calls, do something!
File a complaint with your state's Attorney General. In addition file a complaint with the FTC. Once enough complaints are filed (typically 3 or 4) then the authorities will do something. It's those of us who are burying our heads and doing nothing that allow these scum bags to continue perpetrating their frauds!

File a complaint against them with the FTC. Let the Gov shut them down once enough claims have been filed. I did, and they started calling again. So once again I am going to file a complaint with the FTC. Lets see who gets the last laugh.

I've been getting regular calls from this number. One time I resided to speak with those people. Definitely India based operation. In my case they attempting to collect supposed dept that's 10 ears old. They either unaware or don't care that dept over 7 ears old is moot. The reason for waiting 10 years is that they said that they handle 40 million claims (like that's my fault...). I don't know where or not it's a scam, just stopped pick up the phone. And you can call your phone company and block the number.

These people call almost every day claiming I owe them something from 6 years ago (which I don't).  I think they think if they call every day I will pay them just to make them stop calling.  I'd rather just ignore them.  Like the others who've posted to this site, they are collectors for Verizon.

Get calls from these people all the time.  Received message to call 877-866-8300.  It's a collection agency for Verizon wireless.  Interesting note there is a huge class action lawsuit against Verizon for collecting some fee for early termination which in most states is  illegal as to recent court rulings.

Wife just got a call also from this number from a guy with an accent.  Told her she owed $3000.00. He said they have been trying to track her for 3 years.  Wanted to know our information but when asked for theirs, said he was unable to disclose any but were told they were from calling for a company called American Agency.  There's got to be something done about this before someone falls for this sham.

The number 310-212-0400 is a sham. They are attempting to convince me that I owe money to Verizon. The Verizon is not even my wireless carrier. Obviously they are money sharks and probably violating Florida's statutes on cheating seniors by fraudulent means. If they call again, I shall notify the Sheriff and hopefully a warrant for their arrest will be issued. I shall take off work to testify and then claim damages. This is the only way these sharks can be stopped. If one of their kind serves some time, the word will will get around. Get aware of your state laws regarding these retrograde evolution mammals!!! called saying i owe a debt from over 10 years ago in a place i've never lived... someone w/ an Indian accent trying to be "firm" about my "debt"... give me a break!
