They've called about a dozen times in the last 60 days. It's a pump & dump brokerage house. Finally found the time to file a complaint with the FCC, which occurred 5 minutes ago. Surprisingly, the complaint process was relatively simple.

Called and asked if I remembered their name, to which I said NO. The salesman then said "Well, we obviously did not do our job the last time we called. I'm sorry we didn't make an impression with you", at which point he started going into his pitch for gasoline commodities. As SOON as I said I wasn't interested, he said "I understand you may not be interested, but surely you'd be interested in..." at which point I hung up on him. I didn't bother to ask where he got my number from, but I KNOW I have not given it out to ANY financial house, much less scammers! AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

A very rude person kept calling where I work and asking for the owner.  When I would tell him he wasn't available he would hang up on me.  One day he called and I let him talk to the other owner of the business.  The owner asked him what his problem was and why he was so rude.  The company still calls us all the time but they are not as rude.

They always ask for Mike. NO ONE calls my husband that. His name is Michael. So I always say, "Hold on a second. I'll get him." Then leave the phone off the hook and walk away.  HA HA HA

I worked for Tiger Financial as a broker some time ago. I suspected that they'd end up getting some complaints online because they call so many numbers. I probably averaged 300 dials a day or more while there.

Tiger is not a scam. They are a real brokerage, and the brokers are obligated to volunteer full risk disclosure (meaning that they tell you as part of the presentation what your risk exposure is). I don't know about turning $5K into $30K (?!?!?!?), but in general the trades are designed to be able to generate about 30% - 50% in 90 days or less. However, this is very high risk, so you have to accept that you could lose 100% of your investment too. If a broker tells you that there is no risk or offers guarantees, then he will be fired on the spot.

However, this doesn't mean that we were going to accept a "Not Interested" reply quickly. The company doesn't tell brokers to be overly aggressive, but it does encourage brokers to at least make a REASONABLE attempt to present the trade recommendation. Brokers are not permitted to abuse prospects. The owner actually spends a lot of resources to keep tight control over what brokers say on the phone. My manager routinely ended phone calls when he felt that a broker was being abusive or was not fully disclosing risk or qualifying the prospect suitability for high risk investments.

Bottom line is that there are a lot of brokers (at least 100) in the company's offices, and sometimes the phone lists happen to have duplicate names. The lists come from list brokers and similar sources. THEY DO NOT DELIBERATELY call numbers on a DNC list. The company uses a service that prevents dialing to numbers on the national DNC list, but some numbers slip through and need to be uploaded manually. Just ask to be DNC'd and the broker will do it. If he doesn't, ask for the manager.

Received call from this number on my caller id listed as Private at 459pm. I decided to call the number back.  I am also on the DNC list. A woman with an Indian (India) accent answered and I explained that I was returning a call that was on my caller id. Said the she was with Tiger Financial and the it was probably a sales call for Futures and Commodities.  I told her I was not interested and she asked me for my phone number and the state I was calling from and that she would remove my name from their list. I do not even have to ask. She was cordial the entire time. I then searched internet for the number and found this site and decided to add my experience.

After being treated VERY rudely I called this company on skype. Eric said they would remove my phone #, we'll see. I decided since they are not trust worthy, I would take another step to stop them. I copy & pasted THIS page of complaints and sent it to the FCC. Maybe if everyone does the same we will get some action.

Todd from Tiger called, refused to say what the call was about. Even after 5 mins of telling him he has to tell what this call is in regards to. Refused, finally I told him we are on the DNC list, to take our number off his call list or I would report him to PUC, AG, FTC etc. Hung up without saying a word. Called the number back got someone who said they would take our number off their list. We shall see how long that takes, or if it takes.

This company keeps calling our office and asking for my boss.  It doesn't matter how I approach their calls, they keep calling.  They are rude and make it seem like I am the one being an inconvenience to them.  I never put them through to my boss and figure if they don't like it...I don't care.

Rude person who calls himself "Todd" would not disclose the nature of his call to our business phone. Don't they know they have to get past the screeners first? No time for this kind of thing.

Each time we have told them we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST and to remove us from their database, each time they get extremely rude. Last time we told them if they call again we will file a complaint with the FCC; well they called again and I finally found the time to file a complaint with the FCC, which occurred 5 minutes ago. Surprisingly, the complaint process was relatively simple; you should do the same...Below is the link:
