ANNOYING CALLER!!!!

no info on caller ID never leaves a message

I too have been getting calls from this number.  When I trace it I get nothing.  I agree, it is very annoying.  I just put in in my contacts as "donotanswer".

They called on my cell. When I answered no one was on the line. How can you block these annoying calls?

They have called my cell. I naver answer it because I don't know the # or who it is. But I get calls from this # alot.

they called me 3 times and told me i was entered in a dreams come true drawing. then asked me if i wanted all these magazines and then a watch. i told them no but i still think he thought i said yes because he kept saying and also...and also...he repeated my address back to me and then asked if i had a major credit card. i kept saying no but he kept going on. i am usually smarter then this but i should have hung up!

Calls frequently at all times of the day and night, nevers says anything on answer and returning the call gets a message "This number has been diconnected or is no longer in service" even though it had been only a minute since they called my from that number in the first place.

they keep calling me too and noone is on the other line i want to kill em cause then i call em back and it says that it is no longer working.... let me strangle em

I will follow up with the provider of this telephone line and advise them of the actions They are attempting. I will be posting the phone lines owner soon this will be your recourse to stop this issue by sending a simple note to thier Liason offices.

i had similar calls to this one.they say you won something then they wantyou to by a subscription to a magazine and charged my account luckly i received the funds back only because i pursued it.also beware CPW aka Winner's Choice 678-969-9599

I just recently received two phones calls from these people. How annoying!!!!!!! I asked the lady what the business name was and I stated that I would give her a call back; she then exclaimed that they will call me back and not to call them. I also think that  I heard a tv in the background, not professional at all..

Who is this? They call my house just about everyday, and they never leave a message.

We get bombarded with unknown name, unknown number or not available... or private.... We are ready to get rid of the home phone, as that seems the only solution. Sorry. But Cox, QWEST, etc. etc. surely have a way of giving us a key stroke to either block these non entities or do a call back to identify the number and person.  

That is the whole purpose of the caller id option and having ones phone number on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. You can't report them if you don't have their phone number. That is why they do it this way - so you can't report them - as hefty fines are given to those that violate the do not call registry.  We need a law that every phone number except perhaps residential be displayed - none can go through as private or not available - the full number has to show and be the truthful number from which the call was made.   The phone companies are to blame for all these annoying against the law calls.  The phone companies issue the phone numbers and how they are displayed - private, unavailable, etc.   And get ahold of the do not call registry and find out if they can do something about all of these private and unavailable phone numbers calling.  

Until we finally decide whether to just cancel the home phone, which with cell phones (even my 89 year old Mother has one) who needs a home phone, as these annoyers never leave a message as to who they are- if no one answers they just hang up, I now answer and put them on speaker phone and don't say a word. So all they hear is silence and they say hello, hello, hello. And they hang up. Even better record them.   I am really annoying them by doing this. Now they don't just waste my time, they are wasting their time too. yeah!

Follow up to my message just posted.   All of this stuff I see is old.  So I don't know if all of these calls are related to that particular number, as no number is shown on caller ID and they never leave a message.  Nor do I wish to talk them, who ever "them" are, just to find out.

I get a call on my cell phone often, they never leave a message.  I missed one from them again today at 1:20 central time.  I tried to call back and nobody answers.

Just received 2 calls from this number in the last 5 minutes...
I never pick the phone up if I don't recognize the number (if it's THAT important, they'll leave a message).  THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE POSTED COMMENTS HERE!!  This has been very helpful...

Calling my phone company now to complain and block them...

I just wish they would stop calling!! I just got a call from them, I said hello, no one would answer, so i said i got all day to sit on the phone with you if you can call me & not say a f'in word, then they hung up. it is soooooo annoying, they call like 3 times a day!! then when you call the number back it's been disconnecte. man........get a real job!!!

At around 6:36 PM EST a woman called for my husband... I said he was out of the country.  She said he won a gift card and she wanted to know if we had an active visa or mastercard account.  I told her we might have one (I tried to be evasive)and it got really quiet in the background like she put me on mute or something.  Then I said no thank you and she said okay and we mutually ended the phone call.  I tried to call the number back, but I got a busy signal... very suspicious and BAD sign. I've heard of phone scams where they'll ask you questions to get a "yes" or "no" answer and later they'll engineer a new conversation and add your "yes" or "no" answers in to make it sound like you are agreeing to purchase something.  I hope I didn't say too much.  Anyway, I tried to be smarter than them by not saying "yes" or "no" but I think I'm better off by not saying anything but goodbye.  I don't have to answer their questions and I shouldn't have.  Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite me in the a** or my wallet.

indian woman asking for my husband and yet talked to me when I said hold on here is my husband after her you've won a $1000 dollar shopping spree,if we use visa mastercard or two other types of credit cards.  She seemed agitated that I told her to hold and my husband said that he had no cedit cards then she asked if anyone else in the house did he stated that no one did and asked to be reoved from whatever list they got our number from and to never call again. She said in a snippy tone that he was missing out on an amazing deal.

IVE BEEN RECIEVING THIS CALL FOR A WEEK NOW EVERY DAY...THEY DONT SAY NOTHING.. IT COMES UP ON MY CALLER ID AS A CALIFORNIA CALL..WHEN I CALL IT BACK IT SAYS ITS DISCONNECTED..IM SICKK AN NEED MY REST..I WILL ALSO REPORT TO POLICE IF IT DONT STOP....SOME ONE NEEDS TO KICK THIS PERSONS BUTT....

I think that they are calling 2 different people on 3-way and letting them duke it out because they realise that we cannot be scammed or were rude to them previously.

I Got an unwanted call from this number but was on the other line. I called it back and it said it was a disconnected number. I then got a call again about 20 minutes later saying it was a local book club. I asked the man where is "local" because I don't belong to any book clubs, he did not know so I asked him to remove me from his list.

An hour later I got a call from the same number asking me if I was alone. I hung up.

I just called the carrier service that this person has their number through and they gave me a website to stop them from calling me. The website is www.donotcall.gov The lady said it may take up to 31 days to process but once done maybe they won't call me anymore. I let my answering machine pick up any phone numbers I don't know and when this number calls I actually hear someone else pick up and they start talking to someone else as if I had answered my phone. I only have one phone in my house and both times I have been looking at it when this happens. This gets very annoying so I too tried to call them back and got the recording "this line has been disconnected or is no longer in service" after just a couple of minutes. I just thought you guys may want that website. ttyl...

I have gotten a call from this number twice now and not knowing the number I let the answering machine pick up. That's when the crazy part happened. I heard someone else pick up like they'd called another number and heard them telling someone else the info they normally would be telling me only thing is, I only have one phone in the house. They actually had a conversation with this person. I tried to call them back and I too received the recording that it was disconnected or no longer in service just minutes after they called me. I do not understand this and I wish it would stop. If anyone knows what to do about this please help.....

same lady, she asked if my fiance was home, said she qualified for a $1000 shopping spree for being a 'preferred customer' of one of the four major credit cards...when i said she wasnt home,she said i qualified as well...i smelled b***s***, and asked which one she used, she didnt know...i asked why she was 'preferred', she said because she had been using it for a long time...i asked how long? she hung up...

I was the person this lady call, I'm not a goverment contractor, I work for the Government and the phone she called me on was a Governnment phone. The number is not anything like my number. My area code is 256 (which is an Alabama area code)the one that is calling her is from the Loa Angeles area code. When she calls back it comes to my phone. I don't like being blamed for something I have no control over. I just got off the phone with another lady wanting to know why I keep calling her. My phone is not one being used.

I keep getting calls from this number, so today I answered the call.  The woman told me I was going to be given $1000 for a free internet shopping spree for being a Visa/Mastercard holder.  She then asked "you do have a Visa and Mastercard - don't you".  When I answered, she hung up.

I called back, and the person on the other line didn't answer for awhile - even though you could hear that someone was on the line.  The man finally answered and he told me he was with a government contractor and didn't know what I was talking about.  I told him that I was tired of getting their calls and suspected them of identity theft.

I received a call from a man with a strange little voice, and could barely understand him, not due to an accent-since he had none, but because he spoke out of his nose. After saying he worked for a Visa Company in C.A. he told me a Mr. Trobalolly (who apparently used to belong to this number)has won a $10,000.00 shopping spree. I told him there was no one here by that name, he repeated the number-to which I told him he has the right number, but the wrong family and asked him to please take me off the list and give the spree to someone else. He told me he wouldn't because he doesn't want me to "miss out" on this opportunity to buy things for free and asked to speak to someone else in the house, asked if I had visa credit or debit cards, asked who owned the number now, and said if anyone in the house had a debit or credit card that I could still have the money. I told him no one had any visas, and asked to be taken off the list again. After about 5 more minutes of him trying to convince me accept 10,000 dollars, he finally agreed to take me off the calling list. I hope he actually did.

Getting calls from this number several times a day.  No one ever there.  When I try to call back the number has been diconnected or no longer in service.  I have noticed other people reporting this number, but will anything be done?

Seems whoever can access this number calls repestedly.  No one is ever there and caller ID says NATL ENTP.  I tried doing a reverse look up on the number, but got nothing.  I then decided to call the number back.  I got the recording that tells me "This number has been diconnected or is no longer in service" even though it had only been a couple of minutes since they called from the number.
