I get the call and then they hang up.  When I call back the phone number is not a working number.

Stopped for a while - now back at it.  Real A-Holes.  Can't imagine what crappy home improvements they must do.

For all of you who keep coming to these sites to complain about telemarketers, it won't do you any good. First of all, complaining on these sites serves no purpose, other than allowing you to blow off steam. Secondly?and most importantly?some telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call list; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you're having dinner or trying to get to sleep at night; they don't care if you think they're rude; they just DON'T CARE.
Despite your crying, whining, moaning and complaining on these forums, they will continue to call. They are CONSTANTLY changing their outgoing phone numbers to fool you. They use a technology called "robo-dialing" which is basically a computer that calls random phone numbers until they make a connection. A connection is usually confirmed when someone answers the phone and says, "Hello," thus activating the system. Calling them back from a caller ID number which is spoofed will give you a recording that says the line is disconnected.
Get used to this, folks. They will continue to call forever. Do what I do; stop answering your phone. If you have caller ID, don't answer any call that you don't recognize. If anyone wants to get in touch with you, they will leave a message. You are NOT legally required to answer your own phone. Just ignore that appliance, get on with your lives, and check your answering service periodically.

If the number is "disconnected" I block it from ever calling me again.

Received a hangup call from this number today at 10:05 AM. This has been going on for a couple of years now according to this page, why is it still happening?

It is Obama's brother. The one who studied at Stanford who claimed that their father was physically abusive. He is supposed to be in China now. He is not. Beware. He is on your tail if you don't like Barzun, the new ambassador to the Court of Saint James who is there because Barzun contributed boodles to Obama. The Court of Saint James has the biggest garden in all of London save one. Guess what? Barzun won't care. She is like Nan Keohane, the former Stanford professor who wants you to thank BP for what they do to the environment and who was on the Board of Trustees of Duke University when Duke decided to close down the Angier B Duke gardens. Go figure. Especially you Californians. Why? Because Janet Napolitano is coming to town. She didn't do much for Arizona. Go ask John McCain. He will tell you.

The a***ole mimicked my voice asking for my last name wtf is that.and hung up on me

A very rude man called from Home Design Center.  He wouldn't shut up. When I told him I was on the do not call list and asked to be removed from his list, he called me a c***.   I hung up and he kept calling back and putting music on so the call could not be disconnected.   Now I get calls from that number day and night. I tried to call back and get someone on the phone but the number isn't in service.  

Do these losers actually think if you let them talk they're going to sell you something? You'd have to be a bigger moron than they are... not likely!

You may be right however, be sure before you post this personal kind of information; he may come back and sue you. It might be better to report these calls to the police. You may not be aware of phone devices that make calls over the Internet and can spoof information like caller ID (name information) and phone number. These type of calls I've received numerous times lately. I don't answer them, there are no voice-mail messages and when I check the phone number is not assigned. It seems like they are using numbers from an "available number list" on their caller ID.

When I used Google Earth his address is a typical house for that area so this guy is doing all this from home.

At about 12:55 got a call from 310-324-6368 caller ID was COGAN P did not leave a message. I hope this is the only call from them and not the starting of many more to come.

Same thing, got call with false ID. Didn't answer and blocked number.

Just got a call from this number - one of the multitudinous calls from the 310 area code.  Obviously criminals out trolling for unsuspecting victims.  A pox on all their houses.

just curious - has anyone ever made an appt with them, and then not been home, or told them you are not interested after they get there? If we waste their time perhaps they will stop wasting ours

Same number, different name, telemarketer. Blocked now. They think they are clever using V60310420700015, like I would answer a number like this and buy something? IQ of 1

Just typing this up to let others know this is a telemarketer and if you can block them, I do. They are persistent and don't follow the DNC list.  They called me on Sunday at 10 and 3:45 as well as 4x today.

I get multiple rings at one time even though I have a service and try to block these jerks. My service then alerts me that they assault my number with 4 calls. My service now has a new feature that I use. Anytime these jerks call with a "blank"caller ID they are blocked because they intentionally leave it blank. Thank you youmail.com!!

Hmm, a year and a half since the last report on this number? They must have gone to ground for a while.

Anyway, got one just now. Phone screen read COGAN P and this number. I let it go to answer and no message was left. Now blocked through the *60 service from my carrier.

Once again, a telemarketer working for a contracting service. I've had many calls exactly like this one ever since I bought cabinets from Lowes.
