called my husband ex wife looking for me. Said they are a law firm. If that is so would they not know that his ex is not me and where I live I have a cell phone and home phone in my name.

This number calls my home repeatedly - at ALL HOURS of the day and NIGHT!!  I don't answer.. but when I try to call the number back, it just rings and rings and rings.. no one ever picks up... They are looking for my ex-husband, but I don't tell them where he is so they just call and call... I'm about ready to disconnect my phone... they won't leave me alone..

This number called my cousin's landline looking for me.  I do not have a landline, only a cell.  Anyone have a clue?

I get calls repeatedly from this number; they never leave a message and have called nearly daily for the last two weeks.

I left a report last night.......now it's gone.........what happened to it?

Same complaint as others......many calls, no message, when I call back I get recording "your call cannot be completed as dialed".  These calls are not for us...we pay our bills on time and have never had anything in collections.

If you are getting harrassing calls from this number and your are positive they are not for you, I would suggest you contact the State Attorney General for your state and find out what can be done.  Also contact your local state representative or state senator and find out if anything can be done.  These harrassing calls must stop.

Called and asked for me, didn't recognize number, so I took a message. It's ARS National...a collection agency. Lady was pretty rude.

Received call around 4pm on 10/19.  No message.  Have been getting calls from collectors for someone who used to have my number lately, so I figure it's one of thoses.

The caller called my cell #, but did not leave a message. When I dialed the #, I got the message that all circuits were busy.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone and well that ticked me off bad. I owe money on my house and that is it. I own no one nothing, well except for the mom and dad. I owe my life. Just a lot ticked off. I messed up with my home like and had my last name with my first initial. This is a very very bad idea if you are thinking about having just your initial. I have had calls for Crystal Clyde Cooper Cathy and you name it. One lady asked for Carry and I said I don?t know a Carry (fill in last name) and then she asked for 4 other C******* (Fill in last name), They say it is some system that looks up people in an area with that initial and last name and then make it every ones name with that same first initial and last name and then call over and over and over and over and over and they drove me crazy. I finally got on line and saw that if I told them not to call back that they might be able to get in trouble. So I got a pad and paper to record the sleaze collectors. I know that they have a job but I didn?t pick it for them, they did. So with that said I got 3 calls with in 4 days from the same company and I asked the name of the company a return number and then not to call back, this number is to be put on your do not call list and asked them to repeat it. Only one would do that for me. One hung up on me when I would not answer her question and well got down right mad at me for not telling her what she wanted to hear. So I would like to know how to report this number and get the company fined or ticketed or what ever might be able to be done please. So if anyone knows the process can they please let me/us know what can be done and who needs to be contacted. I thank you for reading my post and have a great day. I never let any of the compaines that called me ever get down to what ever business they had whith who ever because no one ever got my first name right Chris..... You know I am glad to have the first name Chris. I have not got one collections call asking for a Chris, every other C name but not Chris. So thank you very much to all of the Chris's out there for haveing good credit because if they ever ask for Chris I will have to say this is him and then try and explain that they have the worng Chris.

She called and I lied and told her the person she was calling wasn't at this number, I didn't know who she was... I think it might be a debt collector... She was calling for my sister... my sister was a bad little girl in her teenage years...

Received many calls from this number on my cell phone but don't answer since I don't know who it is.  I believe it's ARS, a debt collector, a slimy bunch.  I have no outstanding debt so I don't know why they would be calling me.

I work long hours in the health profession and have noticed this number on my caller ID for some time.  Tonight, I answered when it rang, and a woman asked for my ex-husband.  I calmly replied: "Ma'am, please understand that we have been divorced for years, and I haven't even seen him in years.  Furthermore, I hope I never see the son of a ***** again in this lifetime."  She started yelling, "WHOA, WHOA, WHOA...DON'T YOU BE TALKING TO ME LIKE THAT ON ACCOUNT OF YOUR JILTED LOVER"  Then she started screaming at me and I screamed louder, saying that she was the one calling my house and to take me off of her list.  I hung up in her ear.

I'm pretty positive from other calls that she represents sleazy people who buy up written off loans and then try to intimidate people into paying up.  My suggestion to all is to ignore the calls.

Received call from this number as well, was told to hold on because they had a important message,i didnt have time to talk so i hung up. Nine times out of ten it's probably a debt collector

I just received the same call...nothing at first, then a woman asking for me by name and telling me that she had a call for me and to hold...I hung up, but decided to look the number up to see who it could be.

i got a call today at home. Person said they were an operator with an important call and to hold. Put on hold and nothing happened.

I got a call from this number at work. i tried calling back and it say call failed.

They called my cell phone while I was working.Did not leave message or anything. When I tried to call the back and my phone said "Call Failed: Not Allowed"

I got one today with no message - thought it might be a friend who just moved to San Diego - when i called it back I keep getting a message that the circuits are busy. They didn't leave a message.

They called but my phone rang for a half second then stopped!

Received a call from this number on my cell; when I answered I didn't hear anyone or any background noise.  No conversation took place and they hung up within 2 seconds.

what is the purpose of this caller, why do they call and what is it they are looking for.  the call didn't go to my home phone #, but it went to my work #

This number frequently appears on my caller ID and I don't have a clue who it is;  therefore, I don't answer the phone.  The caller doesn't leave a message.  I would like to find out who is calling and why.

This caller called my home phone while I was talking on my cell phone. I didn?t have time to answer. He didn?t leave a message on my answering machine. My caller ID showed: "Wireless Caller".
