1st call today... what is this?

Called and left no message.

Got a call from this # today around noon - no message (read somewhere that it is telemarketers).

Answered the call but no-one spoke, i said hello 3 times and then hung up. When i called teh number back it said push 3 to have number removed from the phone list, but when i pushed 3 it kept repeating the god damn message.

called my cell, I kicked it to VM after one ring since I didn't recognize the number.  no VM left.  this call came just after another from a different number with a different L.A. area code (323)790-0167.  I've blocked both, and assume they're related somehow.

Ha!  That's hilarious, hehe!  Never looked at it that way.  I'll keep that in mind when I feel like blasting someone.

But here is how their "Guaranteed Top Rankings" SCAM works: If you don't see your site listed in top search results in 6 months, we will continue to work on it for another 6 months. By then you will not be able to dispute the charges on your credit card and we make money doing nothing but promissing you all you want to hear. I swear if it was legal, I'd shoot these mf myself.

It was a lady who handed the phone over to "Patrick" wanting me to buy a professional webpage for a small business. I told "Patrick" that I had already purchased a webpage and my cousin went to school for web design. He said "Sorry for wasting you time today. Thank you and good luck" I called the number back and pressed 3 to be taken off the list and no one has called yet. Hopefully will never call bacause I do no wish to change my phone numher lol.

It's another telemarketer. Try this:

1) You answer & no one is there: hit ###### many times in rapid succession (creates an even-spaced beep) and hang up; Machine may interpret that your number is bad and take you off the list.

2) You answer & get a sales pitch: say "please hold" and set the phone down till they hang up; If you always waste their time like this, they'd be stupid not to take you off the list.

They Never gave me any (800) number to call to opt out. I requested numbers from them to contact the corporate headquarters directly also.

The lady kept calling me back after I asked her not to call me on my cell phone number they had listed and waisting my minutes on purpose, hanging up, and calling back as private after that. Everyone at the number listed had no supervisor and everyone they tried was busy. One guy said good evening, It was 10:00 am!He listed the company in Van Nuys but the telephone listing at yellowpages.com was white pages listed under Torrence, CA. Maybe they are close to each other.

They called me about web site building services. They are going through craigslist service ads and looking for small businesses/services that list their phone numbers, then they call trying to sell you a web site and hosting for your business.

5 times this number has called today. Just now the phone rang, 3 times, stopped, and immediately rang again, same number.  I let it go to voice mail.
I called the number back.  It says they are an answering service.
"If you would like Sales, press #1"
"If you would like Customer Service, press #2"
"If you received a Telemarketing call and want to be taken off the list, press #3".

When you select #3, they tell you to state your name, number, and which company you do not want calls from. Hummm.. YOU!
But, then, the phone starts ringing like you have called someone, and it keeps ringing.

caller asked for owner of company stating they are from us buildier web site and caller was extremely difficult to understand and i had to ask her to repeat herself over and over so much so i just hung up.

Just an annoying telemarketer. If you call back, there is an option to remove yourself from the list. They are actually useful for when I am having a bad day and I want to yell at somebody.
