I Would like this number to stop calling my job

This company calls me a lot from this number and they never talk when I answer. They call up to 10:00 pm at night and every few hours I stopped answering my phone when this number calls.

From another sight: Beware of this company and companies like this. If you received a letter claiming that somehow you owe them money for a loan you might've had with an old bank and is already paid off, make sure you do reply within 30 days providing proof of the paid-off loan as they indicate in their communication.

This type of companies are a new ponzi-scheme/scam affecting a lot of people these days. (The Church of Scientology controls the ponzi Schemes) I used to hear of them, and then I got a letter from this particular "The Best Service Company."

They bank that you will think their mailing is spam and will toss it, which would make you not reply to them within 30 days, at which point you "accepted" that you do indeed owe them, and then they would start harassing you. Once you realize your credit or financial well-being could be jeopardized, it might be too late. If you got a lawyer, you would win against them, but they would not leave you without serious damage to your credit...just to teach you a lesson.

I think they are a Scientology company. many Scientologist's are buying debt collection companies like The Ganter brothers from Texas. They love to annoy people through psychology. They know first hand if the call you a 1000 times you probably will send them  money. They are Scum on my cell phone.

If you start paying them, they will put a bad mark on your credit report from the date you started paying. In essence, paying off old debts re-starts the 7 year waiting period. Look it up.

This company doesn't know anything about you when they call, it seems as if they are attempting to exctract any info from you to make a case.  I asked what they were calling in regards to, and they couldn't tell me where this "debt" came from!

I received a phone call from this company today, She asked for an owner or accounts receivable,  I informed her I needed her name and the reason for the call.  She would not give me this information.  She asked for the owner or accounts receivable persons name.  Again I politely asked for the reason or nature of the call again.  She refused.  I then informed her that I would not release the information and that if she was unwilling to let me know the name of her company, the reason for the call or her name there was no way we could continue the phone call.  I then proceeded to inform her we do not accept any solicitation and if she was unwilling to give out the information to identify herself there was no reason for her to ever call again and I asked (informed)  her to remove the number and not to call again.  We asked for some reason or validity to this call and were refused.  You should never give out your personal information over the phone to anyone for any reason.  It is the law that they validate any claims or identify the reason for a call.  This company is to cease and desist any further contact calls once asked.  Any further contact will be considered harassment and is punishable by law and subject to fines.

They keep asking for jorge lopez even though my voice mail says my own name. Bunch of dumbasses i believe.

I keep getting calls from this company and it's always automated. Not even leaving a name on whom to contact. They keep calling me everyday and I don't understand why.

They've been calling me for months. I have an automatic reverse caller ID tracker that says this number is a Malibu, CA business line. I live a 7-hour drive from Malibu and have never been there before. They called me seven times in the past five hours.

On my cell phone, I put this number under the contact name Scam and Spam (which is where I put ALL my spam callers), and then set it to go straight to voicemail. Now they're the most minor of annoyances, and I don't even have to pay them.

I can pay & have the money. However I refuse to for one fact. They pissed me off so bad, that is the sole reason. So in essence they screwed themselves. Maybe you need a new tactic. The current one is a real stinker.

That's a excellent suggestion, just pay them. Just how do you pay off something when you simply don't have it? If you don't have money, you don't have money. All the calls in the world will not change this fact. I assume the mentality is, well on the off chance maybe if I call 10,000 times vrs. 9,999 that will resolve this issue. Right? Wrong.

send them a validation letter asking all calls to stop pursuent the Fair Credit Agency, only get correspondence through the mail.

Receive a call every day from this number  sometimes 3 times a day

It's a stupid company that is trying to collect money from a person I don't know. It doesn't matter if these s****eads were told that they're calling the wrong number. They keep calling in hopes that the space-time continuum will fold upon itself and I'll morph into the mysterious person they're looking for and give them money.

These people have been calling my home number for months from a semi local number, after answering there BS calls not directed to me I snapped and probably sounded like Id offer up there first born kid to the devil if they didnt stop calling.

Now its gone to this BS 310 cali number and after the automated BS mentioned above I got a service rep that asked for the same operson I just went through there system to say I never heard of them....she got an earful and really I wish these people would knock on my door, I owe them no money, but do have money to cover my bail and there er visit for them not doing there homework and causing me such grief.

These people must of failed the city cop test, as well as the local security "rent a cop" test and got promoted from cranky tele-marketer to debt collections...did I mention im a lil pizzed?????

This is a business number and no one speaks when phone is answered.

A good way to get them to stop calling is to pay them.

I've been getting calls from this number 310-359-8462 for a year now.  I can't seem to get rid of it.  It's a recording.  Does anyone know how to stop this recorded message number from repeated calls.  Just today I got 14 calls from this number.

Yes, I've been getting calls from the local number, and another number (866, I think) for over a year now.  Today is the first time I received a msg from this number.  It repeated (3 times) "if you are ---- (my name) press 1, if you are not ---(my name) press 2.  It never stated the name of the company, nor the reason for the call.

Several calls have come in from this "Best Service Company", both local and from this number in Malibu. The local calls leave a message only to call them back.....no reason.  The Malibu call doesn't leave a message.
