no this is not accurate.  Steve Thompson is not connected to Ascension in any way.  People think he is because some of the employees that used to work for Leland went to work for Ascension because they like the company better.  The management is a completely different set of folks.  Their deals are registered with the SEC and the states they do business in.  They are also drilling in major prospects in Texas and not oil dry states like TN and KY.  I know this because I have done all the research and spoken to both companies and I am an investor in both companies.  They are separate.  Leland is still active.

Hey, - what constitutes a 'great' company in your mind? Ripping off the naïve & vulnerable with High Pressure Boiler Room tactics.....oh, - wait, you must be connected to the Co. - that's why you proclaim such nonsense. (I WORKED AT THE 'excuse manufacturing' Co of Leland Energy until I could no longer take the Lies from Mia/Nia and Steve).

You must be one of the 'Insiders', - for none of my clients ever received a 'penny' (well, - literally, - just a few pennies) on their (contribution to Steve's Scam) Investment, - while I worked for the Boiler Room of Leland Energy. (808) 520-4211 M.S.A.

Yes, I also invested in TN wells and the "BIG" well we were hoping would pump for a few years rapidly slowed to a dribble after 5 months.  I hope new operators can get the well to flow again cuz so far this TN investment is going the way of the Wattenberg Colorado wells.  I have invested half of my life savings in these wells with Steve Thompson, and the way they are producing my son who will inherit everything I leave at death will probably be fortunate if he collects the last dollar of my investment money made in June 2011.  This does not appear to be a scam, but a very misleading sales pitch from Steve Thompson's staff.  The oil flow is about 1/15th of what was sale pitched.

Well..... I did invest in the Wattenberg Field which you say is so great.  At the rate I have been receiving money from oil and gas over the past 2.5 years from two wells, it will take nearly +- 30 years to receive my investment money returned.  Their sales pitch was money returned would take about 2.5 years.

No it is not a fraud and not a scam.  The only problem this company has ever had is some states view the investment as an unregistered security so if the oil wells end up not hitting a lot of oil and some of us investors lose $$ then people complain to their department of finance and because the state sees the investment and not being properly registered, the states are able to get settlements on behalf of the investors.  But I also invested with Leland, and I read through every inch of the Cease & Desists and there is nothing proven about fraud or criminal activity, it appears to be about registering as a security.  I got lucky, I am in a program called The Presidents Fund and we hit a big well in TN it started off at 1000 bbls per day and then was choked down to doing 3500 bbls a month consistently.  It's about a 50% return per year on my money at this point, BUT I had a friend invest after that also in TN and his wells weren't as lucky. For me, so far so good, guess we'll see where it goes.

If you dont want to be at the bottom then make your way to the top. Sounds simple right? You are the type of person that stays at the bottom. Negative, small-minded, etc. You get in and you climb!

Doesn't mean they will pay one dime! Sure looks good on paper though. Just got their packet of information. Doesn't tell me much except the guarantee by Chas Swaub protects them not me! The sales person is very high pressure like some car salemen I know. Think I'll pass on this one!

Having dealt with Leland Energy " Stephen Thomson " who is the ring leader to this and multiple other LLC's and C corps , have ended on their note with no idea what they sent me or if their books are even legible, This is a ponzi scheme, going on for 3 years at least, Promise to pay you with interest , forcing people into stocks that our below penny stock, I will get all victims that I can find and approach the SEC, D A's of the various States that Leland is scamming people. Very disappointed, and after giving Leland more than ample time to make right in anything they have promised seems to have come to an end with a lack of payment in full, Will talk to 6 know associates involved in drilling fund fraud we will determine if this will go to federal Prosecutors', Stephen has gone beyond his LLC or Corporate hide behind.

one sales would eat you alive. Stick to what you know. It doesn't sound like you know much. I hope you catch your wife cheating on you.

Lets see...I'm a business owner and get a cold call from Leland inviting me to Las Vegas, all expenses paid including air fare, for a guest and myself, to attend a meeting and reception.  If I hadn't hung up the phone, I'm sure the first question would have been "How liquid are you?".  Ever hear "if it's sounds too good to be true?"
