I got a call also by these people saying they were a dream come true program and they said is this  William.  I said I don't even know a a William  and they asked if I had any credit cards or debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo. I said no of course and the only that  was different is that they had a lakeland,FL number. The number was  863-272-7523 and it was a woman on the phone. They had called me several times and when I called back it played some recorded message saying I could win a new iPhone.
haha, you're funny.

you should first learn how to spell and use correct grammar before you tell everyone here that we are paranoid. if that company has people like you working for them... then it's a good thing that we're so paranoid. so wants to buy anything from a company that hired illiterate people like yourself.

i work for publishers headquarters as well and this company is ligit.. the address verification is to notify you by registered mail if you win. the age question is also for sweepstakes purposes because you must be 21-78 to qualify for all prizes. over a certain age it's a liability risk to send an elderly person on a trip out of the country.. as far as the magazine offer it's a great deal if you love to read, browse through magazines. you buy 1 weekly for 3.95 a week and you get 6 monthly magazines of your choice for free. plus a bonus free gift. nothing to loose if you like reading... for all of you who seem to feel like it's fraud it's not we have the fliers in our offices and there is also a list of past winners available. i dont work for that phone number above but i work close enough to them.

i just received a call and they told me i was one of many that could win $25000. and then the girl proceeds to try and send 6 free subscriptions of my choice. i told her i dont read magazines but she still tried and i told her i wasn't interested and then she got off the phone with me. if they got our information from bender ball, then that is the same people with crunchless abs. i just purchased that about a month or so ago. it was the first time i bought something off TV and i will never do it again!

I get calls from 310-370-9486 every day.  The first time they told me I had won the "National Cash Contest" and needed some personal info to process my winnings.  I told them no I hadn't and to take my name off their call list.  The woman started arguing with me!  Try calling it back at 3 a.m.!  Annoy them for a change.

I have been getting calls from this number and so I looked it up online and saw all of these complaints.  I never put the 2 together, but I did start receiving these after I purchased a bender ball for someone.  If this is how they got my information, I will be calling them and reporting them to the BBB.

I saw calls coming in from this number for days.  I finally dialed back.  They tried to hard sell me on a "coupon pack including $40 of free gas".  I told them I live in NYC and don't have a car.  Then they got offended and wouldn't listen to me.  I asked FOUR TIMES to be removed from their list.  They pleaded with me to send the coupon pack to my address at XXX Street in anywhere, USA and they could bill any future packages I would like to purchase using my credit card that had the last four digits of ####.
That's when I realized they got my contact info from a purchase I had made of a "Bender Ball" so I could do sit-ups while traveling.
I asked again to be removed.  The guy sounded perturbed.
One month later, I started getting phone calls again.  SO BEWARE.

After calling back, a girl answered with "hello". Said that my number was drawn to be notified by mail of a chance to win 20,000 dollars and that i was to be notified by mail and she needed to verify my address. Catch was, she didnt "have my paperwork in front" of her, and could I just give her my address? I asked how she got my number, and she told me it was either from my bank or credit card company for being a preferred customer.

I recieved a call from them for my 18 year old daughter.  A lady with a southern accent said that she won a sweepstake.  I said I would like more information.  I was told that since my daughter is 18 they did not have to tell me anything.  I said that this was my phone number and they were not to call any more.  The southern lady said I was not raised properly by my mother and hung up.

I got the call today. Called back several times worried that it may have been concerning a family member that is in this area code, but only got a busy signal. After a couple of hours I did get it to ring but there was no voicemail and no one picked up. I will be reporting them in the morning!

Have started getting calls from this number at various times, e.g. 8pm Firday nite and noon Sunday!!  Never leave msgs.  When I call back, it's busy.  They are violating my "do-not-call" request I have on file.  Hope someone can do something about them.

Just recieved a call from this #.  Got the same story of being in the "Dreams come true" sweepstakes.  She wanted to confirm my address, asked my age, what method of payment (ie: visa, mc, disc, amex) i found most helpful.  Informed me I'd be recieving 6 different magazine subscriptions for free, as well as some jeweled watch, and would I like one for a man or woman.  At that point I said "I'm not sure, this all seems a little suspect."  She said "Thank you, Ms." and hung up.  She asked alot of personal information which makes me very uncomfortable even tho I kept it to a minimum.  Hopefully this "company" is investigated soon and shut down.  Scary.

i just got a call from this number. it was really quite entertaining. a guy called mentioning something about a dream home or a dream vacation and claimed i had been picked out of the entire state that i live in based on my bank records or something ridiculous, so i said: i'm not interested, thank you.. but i didn't hang up right away because i was skeptical... sure enough, he said: hello? and i said: yeah, i'm not interested, thanks. and he said: well hang up! f*ck.
soo... he hung up on me.. i called back, got no answer. called back again and talked to the same guy! he was ridiculous and i called him a liar. told me he needed my name and information so he could review why i was being called and when i wouldn't give it and kept talking, he used my name in a sentence! i questioned him on it and he said: i have caller ID and i called him out on that too because my phone is not in my name..
he also told me that it is MY fault for them calling because if i order things off the internet, i shouldn't use my name and real number... WELL, the problem with that is that the information given has to match the information on the credit card you're using, or it won't process.. so whatever, they're just trying to run a scam.. on a scale of 1 to Care... i don't.
bottom line, the company seems harmless enough, but obviously a joke and hoax. i wouldn't give them any information or listen to them for more than a few seconds... BUT i don't think they're capable of much with just a name, phone number, and address.
anyway, i have since registered on the do not call list... i suggest you all do the same.
cheers. and happy new year.

They've called me twice, saying Hi this is publishers clearing house and spouting off a big list of prizes you're entered to win and that you're a finalist. Last call I told the guy I'm not verifying anything and that this scam place better stop calling, he got extremely defensive and hung up not wanting to verify any information any more. They are a scam company trying to get you to buy magazines.
