I just by accident came across this sight when I just for fun was looking for Ziv Bender on the internet. I dont know if you remember me, I was a volunteer at kibbutz Einat in 1972-73, -74 and -77 and I was a very good friend of Ziv. Sweet Little Inbal, it really hurts to read what he has put you and your family thru all these years! It really makes me sad! If your parents Eli and Ada still are alive I want you so much to send them my best regards as well as to your other brother Gil and your oncle Jonathan (I Think he use to call me "the lady with the bag". I was only 19 when I first came to Israel and I am from Sweden. Love to you all.

All you see in website are bad reviews of company But don't give you the good Reviews. The Publishers has been in business for 30+ years. It is a magazines business. If it was a fauld/scam then they wouldn't be still standing. Publishers do have customers who are Happy and that is how after all these years Publisher is still in business. Life is about Choices. If you are NOT interested then just say NO. Simple as that!
Publishers employees are females  (majority single mothers or had an abussive past). This job doesn't just provide for them but gave them the opportunity to get back in track with Life. They are Good women who are grandmothers, mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts and friend just like what you have.
If any of them has been disrespectful to any of you guys on the phone, I would like to apologize. Most likely they are no longer working for the company. Because whenwe call customers we must treat each one the way we would like to be treated -RESPECT! God Bless

i received a phone as well from a publishers headquarters from california. about being a finalist in a drawing they are going to do in december.  they said they do magazine subscriptions and that i won a couple of prizes. one of which i get a couple of free subscriptions on several magazines, better homes and garder and two others. the said its free for a year than they stop the subscriptions. once i realize that this could be an idenitity theft i had already answered yes to my name and address. very suspicious. i hope that wasnt enough for them. they asked for personal information. i hesitated and give no direct answers on most of there questions. the number that called me was 3103133529 and when i tried to call it back it went directly to a resident line not business. giving the heads up to you all.

Is this the place close to the mexican restaurant in San Pedro.. I worked for a publishers Headquarters in san pedro about 7 years ago for Mr Bender, we sold magazines..there was about 6 of us that worked there...is this the same place??

I just got a job with this company..not knowing it was a scam. Im really hoping its not cause i feel bad now. Called me regarding a Bank whose name I did not catch and a drawing etc. I asked for the name of the Bank and they hang up the phone

I never pick up for numbers that I do not recognize. If it's somebody who knows me and would call me, I have their number.

They called me as well with the same crap. Asked me to verify my personal information and I refused. She then told me that I would be put me out of the drawing. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMS! DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION, EVEN IF THEY ASK YOU TO CONFIRM WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE A CREDIT CARD, SAY THAT YOU HAVE RECENTLY CANCELED ALL CREDIT CARDS AND NO LONGER LIVE AT THE CURRENT ADDRESS THEY SPECIFIED. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. THEY SAY THAT YOU HAVE WON SOMETHING WHEN IN REALITY THEY JUST WANT TO KNOW WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE CREDIT CARD AND CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE PRESENT ADDRESS THEY HAVE ON RECORD. DON'T CONFIRM ANY ADDRESS, REALLY PISS THEM OFF BY GIVING THEM A FAKE ADDRESS.

Total Scam- Just got a call from them tonight(6/4)  they used the same line they used on everyone else, even telling me my own address! when they said they wanted to charge me 3.95 for a magazine, I said I didnt want that charge.  They then called me a b***h and hung up! Im now on the phone putting a hold on my credit card.

I received a call from 310-370-9794 on my personal cell on 3/30/09 at 1:29 pm CT.  A cheery woman told me that she had great news and that I was a finalist in a Publishing drawing (don't remember exactly which one because I was too ticked that I was getting a telemarketing call on my personal phone)then the call got disconnected (I think she hung up).  I never called the number because I assumed it was some new scam where if the callee calls back, the scammer is off the hook because "you called them".

Anyone have any idea how to stop these phone calls? they have called me twice. the first time i missed the call, and i blocked my number and called them back. they said that they were trying to find people in my town who could watch movies and then rate them, yeah right. they just called my last night while i was at work.

I received a call from 310-370-9794 on my personal cell phone.  I've received many calls from this number over the past few weeks but was at work and didn't have time to answer.  Unfortunately, I answered it this time.  A woman asked for me by name and stated she was calling from a Publishing House in California.  Interesting company name which is very close to Publishers Clearing House - remember Ed McMahon?  I immediately told her that this was my personal cell number and I wanted her to delete my number from their database.  She replied "You want me to call you back in an hour?"  I said no and repeated that I wanted her to delete my personal cell phone number from their database.  She said "OK, I will call you back in an hour."  I'm embarrassed to say that the third time I stated I wanted her to delete my number from their database I screamed it into the phone and hung up.  Time to cut back on the caffeine!  I would recommmend ignoring this call if you get one.  The reverse lookup only showed the number is a Land Line in Redondo Beach, CA in Los Angeles County.

Yes, he is from Israel.. I am almost certain that he is the guy you are looking for. I remember him saying he hasn't been in contact with his family in years. He also told me that he pretty much disowned his Mother (Elizabeth I think) because she cheated on his dad. He lives at  2822 Colt Rd. Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275.
